    Design and Development of an iOS Application for Early Detection and Monitoring of Scoliosis Using Core Motion

    Scoliosis is a disorder of the spine characterized by an abnormal curvature in the back, which can impair quality of life if not properly addressed. Early detection is crucial in preventing the worsening of this condition. This research aims to design an iOS-based application to help users independently track the progression of scoliosis. The application employs Core Motion technology to detect and monitor the degree of spinal curvature. Core Motion technology utilizes a gyroscope to implement a digital scoliometer, enabling the measurement of elevation differences between the right and left sides of the body while bending forward, similar to conventional scoliometer. Testing results indicate that the use of these technologies provides fairly accurate and consistent measurements with an accuracy rate reaching 90%.     Optimizing Customer Loyalty Through The Information System Customer Approach at Harapan Hospitals

    This research aims to optimize hospitals customer loyalty through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) approach. In the increasingly competitive healthcare industry, customer satisfaction is key to retaining and attracting new customers. SERVQUAL is one of the methods we use in this study so that by implementing CRM, hospitals can understand patient needs, improve service quality, and build long-term relationships. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 106 respondents who are hospital customers. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of CRM has a significant effect on patient satisfaction and loyalty. Although the overall satisfaction rate reached 84.9%, several aspects needed to be improved, such as the waiting time of doctors and the speed of the registration process. Recommendations to improve the effectiveness of CRM in hospitals include the development of digital systems and staff training

    Comparative Performance Analysis of GRPC and Rest API Under Various Traffic Conditions and Data Sizes Using a Quantitative Approach

    Web 3.0 presents challenges in efficient data exchange, especially in decentralized systems. REST API (HTTP/1.1) remains widely used due to its broad compatibility but has communication inefficiencies, while gRPC (HTTP/2) offers better performance with multiplexing and Protocol Buffers. This study compares REST API and gRPC under various traffic conditions and data sizes using Apache JMeter and Wireshark, measuring throughput, response time, latency, and data transfer efficiency. Results show that REST API has higher throughput in low-traffic scenarios (995 vs. 29.5 req/min) and faster GET response time (3 ms vs. 20 ms), while gRPC excels in large data transfers (276.34 KB/s vs. 134.1 KB/s) and stable latency (0.147 ms). However, ANOVA analysis (p > 0.05) indicates no statistically significant difference.     Optimizing Supply Chain Performance: A Performance Prism Analysis of Goods Receipt in Semiconductor Manufacturing

    This study analyzes the goods receipt process performance at a semiconductor manufacturing company facing issues with process failures and inaccurate goods handovers, resulting in significant losses. Also, the company has never applied a comprehensive and structured performance measurement method to the goods receipt process. Using Performance Prism and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods, 23 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were identified from three stakeholder groups: internal customers, receiving staff, and suppliers, categorized into five Performance Prism perspectives. Data collected through interviews was analyzed using Objective Matrix (OMAX) and Traffic Light System (TLS). Results show the current goods receipt process performance is in the yellow category, with a value of 3.66 and a score of 6, indicating adequate but improvable performance. The semiconductor manufacturing company needs to focus on enhancing KPIs in the yellow and red categories to achieve optimal performance. Recommendations include conducting periodic evaluations and improving communication systems between stakeholders to address these performance issues and minimize losses

    Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on Company Value: The Moderating Role of Earnings Management

    This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate social responsibility on firm value by considering earnings management as a moderator based on ethical theory. The research method used was content analysis of the company\u27s annual reports to measure corporate social responsibility. Earnings management was measured using the modified Jones model, and firm value was measured by Tobin\u27s Q. The sample of this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2020-2022. Data was collected from the company\u27s annual report and the company\u27s website, while financial data was taken from the Thomson Reuters Eikon database. This study found evidence that CSR has a significant negative effect on firm value and earnings management strengthens the effect of CSR on firm value. The results of this study have implications in providing better guidance for companies in implementing CSR, taking into account the importance of financial transparency and accountability, as well as reducing the risks associated with earnings manipulation

    Village Financial Ratio Analysis: Independence, Effectiveness, Efficiency, and Growth

    This study aims to analyze the financial performance of the Rutong State Government over the past five years. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of a report on the realization of the APBDes from 2019 to 2023. The data was analyzed using financial ratios which included effectiveness, efficiency, independence, and growth of the village\u27s original income. The results show that the ratio of financial management effectiveness fluctuates, with most of the years in the category of less effective. The efficiency ratio shows improvement in recent years, although it has not been stable. The level of village financial independence is very low, with the dominance of transfer income in the village income structure. The growth of village real income shows a negative trend, indicating the need for a more sustainable strategy. The recommendations of this study are to optimize the original income of villages through the development of village-owned enterprises, the management of productive assets, and the improvement of village financial management capacity.     Analisis Sistem Pentanahan Gedung Infineon Batam 3 pada Project PT. Lancang Kuning Sukses

    Dalam instalasi Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrik (IPTL) unsur keamanan merupakan hal yang harus dihadirkan dalam setiap instalasi Listrik. Salah satu upaya untuk menghadirkan keamanan dalam instalasi listrik adalah dengan menghadirkan sistem grounding yang baik. Sistem grounding dikatakan baik, mengacu kepada besarnya tahanan pentanahan. Standar tahanan pentanahan mengacu kepada standar PUIL (Peraturan Umum Instalasi Listrik), dimana basar tahanan pentanahan adalah . Pada penelitian ini dilakukan kegiatan untuk mengidentifikasi nilai tahanan pentanahan existing pada gedung Infineon Batam 3 apakah masih dalam keadaan standar atau tidak dengan cara melakukan pengukuran secara langsung dengan menggunakan alat ukur Earth Tester. Dari hasil pengukuran sistem pentanahan pada gedung menunjukkan bahwa nilai tahanan pentanahan pada pengukuran pertama memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 7,5 Ω dimana hasil itu masih tidak sesuai dengan standar maka dilakukan pengukuran kedua  yang dilakukan setelah pembersihan batang elektroda hasil nilai rata-rata sebesar 6,69 Ω. Dikarenakan dari hasil pengukuran rata-rata nilai pengukuran tersebut masih tidak memenuhi standar PUIL. Maka perlu dilakukan analisa perhitungan untuk menghitung jumlah dan kedalaman elektroda yang diperlukan agar nilai tahanan pentanahan dapat turun sesuai dengan standar PUIL. Dari hasil analisa perhitungan didapatkan hasil bahwa nilai tahanan pentanahan pada CB 2, CB4, CB5, CB6, dan CB7 rata-rata adalah 3,35 Ohm . Sistem pentanahan atau dikenal dengan grounding  merupakan salah satu sistem yang sangat penting dalam sistem kelistrikan. Nilai Tahanan yang terukur menjadi indikator kondisi sistem pertanahan. Pada sistem Pentanahan batas  tertinggi yang dianjurkan pada PUIL adalah ≤5 Ω. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi sistem pentanahan existing pada gedung Infineon Batam 3 masih sesuai standar atau tidak. Jika sistem pentanahan di gedung tersebut  tidak memenuhi standar  perlu dilakukan perbaikan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pengukuran langsung dan perhitungan  elektroda batang. Dari hasil pengukuran sistem pentanahan pada gedung Infineon Batam 3 menunjukkan nilai tahanan yang didapat pada pengukuran pertama dengan nilai rata-rata tahanan 7,5 Ω dimana hasil itu masih tidak sesuai dengan standar yaitu ≤5 Ω maka dilakukan pengukuran kedua  yang dilakukan setelah pemebersihan batang elektroda hasil nilai rata-rata sebesar 6,69 Ω, dari kedua hasil pengukuran rata-rata nilai pengukuran tersebut masih tidak memenuhi standar PUIL yaitu ≤ 5 Ω. Dilakukan perhitungan menggunakan metode paralel pada setiap chamber box sistem pentanahan didapatkan hasil perhitungan pada CB 2, CB4, CB5, CB6, dan CB7 yang didapat hasil sesuai Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik (PUIL) yaitu ≤ 5 Ω.&nbsp

This study investigates the operations and activities of PT Bank Bukopin KCU Nagoya Branch. The research utilised a national sample of approximately 100 respondents, obtained through the WOKE survey. The researchers utilised data processing software tools, specifically SPSS Version 25. The research findings demonstrated a direct and substantial impact of service quality on consumer satisfaction. The customer experience has a substantial impact on consumer satisfaction.     MODEL SMART VILLAGE UNTUK PEMBANGUNAN BERKELANJUTAN DI PERDESAAN

    Daerah perdesaan cukup banyak ditemukan diberbagai negara, banyak masyarakat yang mendiami daerah ini. Wilayah perdesaan banyak menyumbang sumberdaya dalam perekonomian suatu negara. Namun saat ini keadaan di perdesaan cukup sangat tertinggal. Konsep Smart Village telah muncul sebagai strategi inovatif untuk mempromosikan pembangunan berkelanjutan di pedesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model konsep Smart Village yang dapat diaplikasikan sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi berbagai tantangan di desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang disurvei melalui tinjauan sistematis mengikuti PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses). Dengan menggunakan PRISMA, kami mendapatkan 32 artikel yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan rujukan untuk menyiapkan model smart village untuk Pembangunan berkelanjutan. Komponen dimensi model smart village tersebut adalah ekonomi, TIK (Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi), komunitas, tata kelola, lingkungan, energi, kehidupan, infrastruktur, dan jaringan. Model konseptual yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi pemerintah maupun akademisi dalam membangun desa dengan Pembangunan yang berkelanjutan

    How Does Financial Expertise Moderate the Influence of Local CEOs on Tax Avoidance?

    This research investigates the impact of local CEOs on tax avoidance, considering how CEO financial expertise moderates this influence. Utilizing data from 665 observations of non-financial firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2018 and 2021, the study employs moderated regression analysis (MRA) to assess its hypotheses. Consistent with the upper echelons theory, the findings suggest that local CEOs exert a positive and significant effect on tax avoidance. Conversely, the presence of financial expertise among CEOs appears to mitigate the negative impact of local CEOs on tax avoidance. The Coarsened Exact Matching (CEM) method robustly validates these conclusions.
