Cybersecurity considerations in the implementation of innovative waste management technologies: "A critical review"
This study systematically reviews the intersection of cybersecurity and waste management technologies, aiming to identify current practices, challenges, and future directions for enhancing cybersecurity within this essential sector. Employing a systematic literature review methodology, the research analyzed peer-reviewed articles, conference proceedings, and industry reports published between 2014 to 2024. The methodology involved a structured search strategy, rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria, and thematic synthesis of findings. Key insights reveal the growing importance of cybersecurity in waste management, driven by the sector's increasing reliance on digital technologies. Significant challenges identified include data breaches, system vulnerabilities, and the absence of standardized cybersecurity practices. The future of cybersecure waste management is characterized by both challenges, such as the rapid pace of technological advancements and opportunities for innovation, including the development of advanced cybersecurity frameworks and the integration of AI for threat detection. Strategic recommendations for industry leaders and policymakers include developing standardized cybersecurity frameworks, investing in advanced technologies, fostering collaboration, enhancing training and awareness, and strengthening regulatory compliance. The study underscores the necessity of robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data, ensure operational continuity, and support environmental sustainability in waste management. This research contributes valuable insights into the critical role of cybersecurity in waste management, offering a foundation for future research and practice enhancements in creating secure, sustainable, and efficient waste management systems.

Artificial intelligence in fraud prevention: Exploring techniques and applications challenges and opportunities
Fraud prevention is a critical challenge for financial institutions, businesses, and governments worldwide. The rise of digital transactions and complex financial systems has led to increasingly sophisticated fraudulent activities. Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers innovative solutions to this growing problem, leveraging its ability to analyze vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and predict fraudulent behavior with high accuracy. This abstract explores the various AI techniques and their applications in fraud prevention, highlighting their transformative impact on the security landscape. AI techniques such as machine learning (ML), deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) have revolutionized fraud detection and prevention. Machine learning algorithms, particularly supervised learning models like decision trees and neural networks, are used extensively to identify fraudulent transactions by learning from historical data. These models can distinguish between legitimate and fraudulent transactions by recognizing subtle patterns that might be missed by traditional rule-based systems. Unsupervised learning methods, including clustering and anomaly detection, are employed to detect novel fraud schemes by identifying outliers in transaction data that do not conform to expected behavior. Deep learning, a subset of machine learning, has shown exceptional promise in fraud detection due to its ability to process and analyze unstructured data such as images, text, and voice. Techniques like convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs) are utilized in applications ranging from credit card fraud detection to anti-money laundering (AML) efforts. Natural language processing aids in detecting fraudulent activities by analyzing textual data, such as emails and transaction descriptions, to identify suspicious language and patterns. AI's application in fraud prevention extends beyond detection to proactive measures. Predictive analytics powered by AI can forecast potential fraud hotspots, allowing organizations to implement preventative strategies. Real-time monitoring systems, enhanced by AI, provide instantaneous alerts for suspicious activities, enabling swift action to mitigate fraud. The integration of AI in fraud prevention presents challenges, including data privacy concerns, the need for high-quality datasets, and the interpretability of AI models. However, the benefits far outweigh these hurdles, as AI continues to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of fraud prevention efforts. As AI technologies evolve, their role in safeguarding financial systems and reducing fraud losses will only grow, underscoring the importance of continued innovation and research in this field.

MANAGING NEGATIVE ALCOHOL-RELATED CONCERNS: A QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH CONCERNING CONSUMERS FROM BOTH ABRAHAMIC AND ENDOGENOUS RELIGIOUS FAITH
The relationship between alcohol consumption and conflicts is explored in several contexts. Little research has been conducted on the subject in Wa. This research explores the relationship between alcohol consumption and conflicts where alcohol consumption is on the increase. This exploratory research is focused on the post-positivist posture. A quantitative research design is used to collect data from both primary and secondary sources for analysis using sphinx IQ software. Some self-administered questionnaires are used for data collection. Results show that alcohol consumption is strongly associated to household conflicts. In addition, the results also show that alcohol consumption is associated to street conflicts. It is found that alcohol consumption is associated to religious conflicts. The findings imply that there should be a rigorous segmentation and hyperpersonalisation of the alcohol beverage market in order to meet the local consumers’core needs and real expectations. To the best of authors knowledge, this is an exploratory research in the Ghanaian Upper West context that shows the relationship between excessive alcohol consumption and conflicts with some particular psychosocial and cultural factors.

The primary aim of this comprehensive review is to dissect the multifaceted contributions of predictive analytics in enhancing the efficiency, accuracy and sustainability of geological resource exploration. The scope of the paper encompasses a detailed examination of the integration of predictive analytics in geological exploration, focusing on its economic benefits, environmental sustainability implications and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Methodologically, the study employs a qualitative analysis of existing literature and case studies, juxtaposing traditional exploration methods with modern predictive analytic techniques. It further investigates the economic impact of predictive analytics implementation, the role of predictive models in identifying new geological resources and the strategic implications for sustainable resource management.
