    A Thematic Research on the Inheritance and Innovation of the Great Wall

    長城文化は,中華民族の貴重な精神的遺産であり,文化的象徴である。長城文化のテーマ要素の進化の流れを定量化することは,長城文化遺産のより良い継承と革新に新たな視点を開き,新たな方法を提供する。本研究では,文献計量法を用いて長城文化のテーマ要素を解析し,分類体系とキーワード共起ネットワーク図を構築した。さらに,社会ネットワーク分析法を用いてテーマ要素間の関係を探り,LDAテーマモデルを用いてテーマの進化を可視化分析した。研究結果によると,長城文化のテーマ要素に関する研究数は年々増加しており,研究の方向性はその構成や特徴の追究から,現代社会における価値や役割の反省へと発展している。具体的には,長城文化のテーマ要素の研究は,人文芸術,文化観光体験,文化遺産保護,イデオロギー,産業振興など12の側面から展開されており,そのテーマの進化過程は歴史文化型,文化景観型,人文体験型など6つのタイプに分類される。departmental bulletin pape

    application/pdf本稿は,中国,日本,アメリカ合衆国(「太平洋の三国」)間の友敵関係の変遷に焦点を当てています。まず,国際政治におけるこれらの関係変化を引き起こす5つの要因について考察し,その後,「太平洋の三国」が関わる歴史的な8つの重要な接点を検討します。さらに,本稿では,台頭する勢力(中国)と支配的な勢力(アメリカ)との間で起こり得る権力移行のシナリオを描写し,複雑な中日関係について論じます。  ワシントンの視点から見ると,米中競争は冷戦時代における米ソ対立のように,長期にわたって続くと予測されています。また,日本はワシントンのインド太平洋戦略における重要な拠点と位置づけられています。そのため,今後数十年にわたり,「太平洋の三国」の間で繰り広げられるドラマが続いていくと考えられます。departmental bulletin pape

    思想には気分がともなう。気分は怒りであったり喜びであったり希望や責任感であったりする。個人の思想形成をみるとき,思想がどのような気分から導かれたかを調べることができる。また社会意識の変容をとらえるとき,どのような社会的雰囲気から社会意識の変容が生じたかをあきらかにすることができる。たとえばジェンダー平等の社会意識が形成される前段階において,流行歌やテレビドラマがどのように変わったかを調べることが有効だろうと思われる。わたし自身,まだ十分な考察に達していないのであるが,本稿では現時点における予備的な検討をまとめてみたい。具体的には下記の通りである。第一,わたし自身の中学高校時代の気分がどのようにして思想形成につながったか,第二,1920年代30年代のアナキズムの思想がその裾野にいかに大きな気分の広がりをもっていたか,そして第三,1990年代の男女関係についての気分がどのようにしてジェンダー平等を導いたか,その3点について導入的な考察をこころみる。departmental bulletin pape

    Chronological Verification on the Organizational Fit Hypothesis of Accounting Information Systems

    application/pdfThe purpose of this study is to clarify that the “organizational fit hypothesis of AIS” (Kawai, 2006; 2009), which states that “the technical functionality of accounting information system (AIS) is positioned at different levels of adaptation depending on the management style classified according to the unique organizational characteristics of a company,” can still be explained today, nearly 20 years later. In this study, we analyzed 149 companies listed on Japan’s stock exchanges using a mail questionnaire survey and evaluated the model fit based on covariance structure analysis. The results revealed that the complex relationship between the technical functionality of AIS, management strategy, and organizational culture can also be explained in this study.departmental bulletin pape

    Understanding and Support for Elderly People with Developmental Disabilities : From Surveys of Developmental Disability Support Centers and Nursing Homes

    application/pdfResearch on individuals with developmental disabilities has primarily focused on children, adolescents, and adults. However, as society ages, there is a growing need for research on elderly individuals with developmental disabilities. Most discussions to date have been centered around medical contexts, with limited clarity on understanding and support within the welfare domain. This study aims to elucidate the current state and challenges of support for elderly individuals with developmental disabilities within the welfare sector. We conducted questionnaire surveys and semistructured interviews targeting staff from developmental disability support centers across Japan and nursing homes in City A. The results revealed that in the current support system for elderly individuals with developmental disabilities, creating an environment conducive to easy consultation and sharing information through daily activities contributes to better support. Furthermore, we found differences in consultation targets and support conditions between developmental disability support centers and nursing homes. Developmental disability support centers mainly assist individuals from childhood to adulthood, while nursing homes primarily support elderly individuals and dementia patients. However, it remains unclear whether the support for elderly individuals with developmental disabilities should be managed by the elderly support section of the city office or by developmental disability support centers. Additionally, issues such as insufficient collaboration between nursing homes and developmental disability-related institutions were identified.査読付論文departmental bulletin pape

    Working Styles and Work Engagement During the COVID-19 Pandemic :Evidence From Japan, Singapore, and Australia

    application/pdfIn the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic’s outbreak, researchers have published articles and reports on the impact of the pandemic on workplace practices, prevalence of teleworking or remote work, and well-being and engagement of remote workers. However, since these articles and reports are data-driven and/or anecdotal, researchers are called for to conduct theory-driven research on management practices and employee attitudes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this research is to theorize and empirically test the impact of COVID-19 on flexible work arrangements, including teleworking and flextime work schedules, and the effect of these work arrangements on work engagement during the pandemic, based on evidence from Australian, Singaporean, and Japanese workplaces. I draw on extant research not only on flexible work arrangements but also on organizational change, crosscultural management, and the job demand-resources (JD-R) model in order to tackle the purpose of this research. I also conduct supplementary analysis by expanding the number of countries from which I collected date. This research makes a theoretical contribution to a field of human resource management( HRM) research as it provides theoretical foundations and empirical evidence to understand working styles and work engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic and under culturally different circumstances.departmental bulletin pape
