Full text linkapplication/pdf本稿は，メルヴィルの第4 作『レッドバーン』に一度だけあらわれる，「野蛮なアイルランド人（wild Irish）」という句の起源や来歴を求めて筆者がたどりついた，「野蛮なアイルランド人」という表現ないし類似の表現があらわれる諸文献及び関連諸文献を繙いて，玩味し学ぶ試みである。また，そのことを通じて，メルヴィルの『レッドバーン』という物語テキストに，メルヴィルが意図したかもしれないアイロニーや込めたかもしれないひそやかなニュアンスを読み取ることを可能にしてくれるかもしれない，筆者がまだ気がついていない類の「歴史的連想」（メルヴィル）やアルージョンやコンテキストやアングルなどを発見しようとする試みである。departmental bulletin pape
Consideration about Ruhuhon “Jyokyuki” Books in the Continuation: Focusing on the Collection of the University of Tokyo Library
Full text linkapplication/pdf『承久記』は，一二二一年（承久三年）に発生した承久の乱の顛末を記した軍記物語であり，慈光寺本，前田家本，流布本など複数の異本が現存している。従来，最古態であるとされる慈光寺本についての検討や，ほぼ同様の記述が確認できる前田家本，流布本の関係については，様々な視点から検討が加えられている。諸本のうち，流布本はさらに内閣文庫本，元和古活字本，慶長古活字本に分類されているが，それぞれの諸本の関係についての検討は十分とは言い難く，前田家本と比較する際に用いられるのは，元和古活字本がほとんどである。だが，流布本諸本を比較すると，それぞれの諸本に異同が複数確認でき，段階的に成立した可能性が考えられる。
そこで本稿は，これまで指摘されている三系統とは異なる傾向が確認できる，東京大学附属総合図書館が所蔵する流布本『承久記』の写本の翻刻をした上で，三系統との比較を行い，流布本諸本の関係について検討を加えることとする。departmental bulletin pape
