Impatto dei fattori ESG sulle migrazioni. Tra governance territoriale e governance aziendale
Get PDFItQuesto contributo analizza i fattori ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) e il ruolo che essi occupano nel contesto delle migrazioni globali, dovute al cambiamento climatico o a motivazioni socioeconomiche. L'analisi che viene proposta si svolge su due livelli: il primo relativo agli standard di sostenibilità, ambientali e sociali, esaminati dal punto di vista della governance pubblica sui territori e sulle imprese, mentre il secondo livello è quello relativo alla governance ambientale e sociale delle aziende. Mediante l'analisi di dati, ricerche e di alcuni casi studio, si cerca di dimostrare come l'approccio ESG possa costituire strumento fondamentale per gestire e mitigare le migrazioni forzate, razionalizzando i flussi, e contribuendo a integrare i migranti nei territori ospitanti.EnThis paper examines ESG factors (Environmental, Social, Governance) and their role in the context of global migration, driven by climate change or socioeconomic factors. The analysis is conducted on two levels: the first focuses on environmental and social sustainability standards from the perspective of public governance over territories and companies, while the second pertains to corporate environmental and social governance. Through data analysis, research, and selected case studies, this paper aims to demonstrate how the ESG approach can serve as a fundamental tool for managing and mitigating forced migration, streamlining migration flows, and facilitating the integration of migrants into host regions
