Get PDFThe figure of Luigi Tasselli, a Franciscan savant from Salento and author of the historical and chorographic work "Antichità di Leuca", has long been denigrated for the lack of historical criteria in his work. The work, however, today represents an important source for the reconstruction of legends, traditions and religious practices of the ancient Terra d'Otranto at the end of the seventeenth century, some of which are no longer known by the local population. In this work there are continuous references to elements of the landscape that are still significant for the inhabitants of Salento. We can also perceive the cultural physiognomy of Salento in the early modern age, a land of encounter between two cultures: the Latin West and the Byzantine East

Get PDFAl giorno d'oggi sono sempre meno i bambini che rispettano le linee guida sull'attività fisica e che trascorrono gran parte del loro tempo in attività sedentarie dettate anche dall'utilizzo inadeguato dei dispositivi elettronici. In questo contesto è evidente come bambini ed adolescenti tendano sempre meno a praticare attività motoria tramite il gioco, che tuttavia è dimostrato da numerosi autori e dalla letteratura scientifica avere un'importanza fondamentale nello sviluppo motorio oltre che di abilità sociali creative ed emotive.Gli exergame e serious game possono essere un compromesso ideale per incentivare i bambini ad aumentare i livelli di attività fisica ma non è ancora chiaro se le possibilità tecnologiche e le modalità di utilizzo siano un mezzo ideale per sviluppare l'apprendimento in età evolutiva.Oggigiorno, una bassa percentuale di bambini soddisfa le linee guida per l'attività fisica, mentre un'alta percentuale trascorre gran parte del proprio tempo impegnata in attività sedentarie, spesso legate all'uso improprio di dispositivi elettronici. In questo contesto, è evidente che bambini e adolescenti si impegnano sempre meno in attività fisica attraverso il gioco. Tuttavia, la letteratura scientifica sottolinea che il gioco ha un'importanza fondamentale per lo sviluppo motorio e per lo sviluppo di abilità creative, sociali ed emotive.Exergame e serious game potrebbero rappresentare un compromesso ideale per incoraggiare i bambini ad aumentare i loro livelli di attività fisica. Tuttavia, non è ancora chiaro se le capacità tecnologiche e i metodi di utilizzo siano strumenti efficaci per promuovere l'apprendimento durante le fasi di sviluppo.

A Voice Out of the Chorus Tunisia’s Position of the Middle East Question (1965-1985)
Get PDFOn the Arab scene, from 1956, independent Tunisia represented an important partner for the West, thanks also to its moderate political stance on the Middle East question. While this choice had placed Tunis on the fringes of the Arab League until the death of Nasser, it had also favored and strengthened its alliance with the West, first with the United States and then with the Western European countries that wished to open a dialogue with the Arab League. During the 1960s, Tunisia's political role remained secondary to Nasser; it was with the Kippur War that the Palestinian question repositioned Tunisia in the Arab world. The signing of the Camp David Accords and the removal of Egypt from the Arab organization allowed Tunisia to take on a leading role in the Middle East question also thanks to the relocation of the PLO to the Maghreb country in 1982. Tunisia's diplomatic and political success, however, was not painless. The presence of the Palestinian leadership on the outskirts of Tunis added an element of insecurity to an economic and social framework that was far from stable, with important repercussions on the end of Habib Bourguiba's regime
