Roca, un crocevia di scambi tra l'Europa e il Mediterraneo: il valore economico e sociale del metallo nella tarda età del Bronzo
EnThe main aim of this paper is to highlight the rich value of Roca in the context of the metal exchange during the Bronze age. From the northern Adriatic sites to the central Mediterranean, and from central Europe to the south eastern Italian coasts, thanks to the use and the presence of metal, many people and objects travelled, thus bringing with them new ideas and technologies. Several bronze and gold artifacts, tools and raw materials found in Roca, are key elements to reconstruct the dynamics of the exchanges and the transformation processes of the ancient protohistoric societies of Puglia.
EnThis paper offers a synthesis of the archaeological data from southern Apulia during the Roman Imperial age (1st c. BC – 4th c. AD). In particular we suggest some reflections about the organisation of the settlement system and the distribution of the principal classes of pottery and categories of artefacts. The archaeological elements are examined in strict relationship with the historical, socio-political, administrative and economic framework.ItIl presente laoro propone una sintesi sui dati archeologici provenienti dalla Puglia meridionale e relativi all'età imperiale romana (I sec. a.C. – IV sec. d.C.).
Non-Kähler C-Y 3-folds arising from singular K3 surfaces
In the paper, we study the blow-ups at singular points of a singular K3 surface and analyze the change in the Picard group during this process. Our aim is to produce examples of such surfaces that serve as the base of Seifert fibrations, carrying a non-Kähler complex structure with a trivial canonical bundle. These spaces can be explicitly identified up to a diffeomorphism and are natural candidates for solutions of the Hull-Strominger system
Come un'onda: sulla filosofia di Angela Ales Bello = "Like a wave": on the philosophy of Angela Ales Bello
This volume is a collective tribute to Italian philosopher Angela Ales Bello, featuring contributions from international scholars. Presented in the Italian Senate on April 30, 2024, it explores contemporary phenomenology through Ales Bello's original hyletic-noetic approach, emphasizing links with Thomism and mysticism. The work is divided into sections on anthropology, metaphysics, pedagogy, gender, and the inner life. Central is the figure of the Maestra-not just a teacher, but a guide fostering a community of thought. The essays reflect Ales Bello's unique balance of academic rigor, interdisciplinary openness, and educational commitment. Her vision renews philosophia perennis for today's world
Il perturbante della zoopolis = The uncanny of zoopolis
This essay examines the concept of Zoopolis through the lens of Kojève's idea of the end of history. Kojève imagines a post-historical human who, after negating their animal nature, returns to a passive, animal-like state. The author connects this to current debates on animal rights and proposals to grant animals urban citizenship. The fusion of zoon and polis in Zoopolis is seen as uncanny, recalling Freud and Plessner's reflections on estrangement. As cities evolve into BioCities, integrating non-human life, questions arise about the essence of urbanity, technology, and political inclusion. Ultimately, Zoopolis reveals a repressed aspect of humanity—our deep entanglement with nature—challenging human exceptionalism and urging a redefinition of coexistence

L’uso dello schoolscape in classi plurilingui. Accrescere la consapevolezza dei docenti tramite protocolli di auto-osservazione
This research investigates the use of the schoolscape by 26 teachers with specific training in pluralistic approaches and translanguaging pedagogy. Some teachers completed a daily self-observation grid for 10 consecutive weeks. Subsequently, they were interviewed to delve into attitudes, ideologies, and strategies related to the use of the schoolscape. The analysis highlights that interaction with the plurilingual-semiotic space occurs along different trajectories, involving teachers, emerging bilingual students, and Italian-speaking students in various ways, with diverse linguistic combinations. The schoolscape is used to trigger plurilingual interactive exchanges and to mediate the co-construction of meanings, thus encouraging students, including newcomers, to actively participate according to their linguistic and multimodal competencies. The study's implications concern both educational practices, with concrete and sustainable examples of using the schoolscape to value plurilingualism in the classroom, and the methodological level, particularly regarding the role of teachers as active and critical observers
