La politica serializzata dei manga. Immaginazione civica e attivismo pop dei giovani = The serialized politics of manga: civic imagination and young people's pop activism

The serialized politics of manga: civic imagination and young people's pop activism. This paper examines how politics is present in manga. My perspective is to change the focus of research from explicitly "committed" content to the serial forms and infrastructures that sustain manga circulation. Seriality is approached as a narrative technology of time: publication cycles, tankōbon volumes, anime adaptations, digital platforms, events and fan practices produce a shared rhythm in which themes such as justice, sovereignty, memory and violence repeatedly return, enabling young readers to rework judgments and categories. The Japanese media mix extends the lifespan of works and consolidates affective bonds with characters who function as interfaces between entertainment and the public sphere. In this framework, the notion of civic imagination highlights how serial worlds provide pop figures, scenarios and vocabularies through which young people can reflect on change and experiment with forms of participation. Three analytical layers make these dynamics visible: the controversy surrounding the manga Oishinbo after Fukushima as an arena of public debate; My Hero Academia, Death Note and Attack on Titan as ethical-political laboratories; and the case of the Tokyo Metropolitan Youth Ordinance together with the institutional campaigns built around March Comes in Like a Lion and Spy×Family as examples of fan activism and the political uses of characters. Taken together, these cases delineate a landscape in which Japanese manga appears as a space where politics is made serially, in the encounter between infrastructures of seriality, the media mix and the socio-cultural practices of younger generations

Theogn. 333-334. Esegesi correnti ed esegesi dimenticate

    Get PDF
EnThis paper deals with the interpretation of Theogn. 333-334, a statement for which there is a lack of specific studies. The paper offers a critical overview of the interpretations of the couplet provided over time and, in particular, of those advanced by now forgotten 16th-century scholars. So, we clarify how it has been interpreted and highlight how even divergent explanations are legitimate in the absence of further elements that might shed light on a gnome that is not only generic, but rather unique. Some recent interpretations have explicitly stated that Cyrnus and the exile would have belonged to different homelands, while the ancient interpretations, from the 16th century, have hypothesised exactly the opposite

Il gioco si fa serio. Giocare per apprendere attraverso l’Edutainment e i Serious Games nell’esperienza didattica dell’Italiano per stranieri – L2/LS

    Get PDF
Parole chiave: edutainment, gamification, tecnologie digitali, Italiano L2, didattica situata, software educativi  Abstract (English): This article explores the role of edutainment and serious games in teaching Italian as a second language (L2), highlighting how digital technologies can transform traditional and monomodal teaching practices. The integration of interactive and game-based tools, such as immersive simulations, dialogic scenarios, and voice recognition exercises, fosters personalized learning, increasing student engagement and motivation, also through the use of educational software designed for learners with special needs. Through a theoretical and methodological analysis, the study examines the synergies between game-based learning (GBL) and constructivist, situated, and socio-cultural pedagogical paradigms, illustrating how gamification and game-based learning can facilitate language acquisition in a less anxiety-inducing and more stimulating context. Special attention is given to emotional aspects and their influence on knowledge construction, emotion regulation, and the role of social interaction in educational video games. Keywords: edutainment, game-based learning, digital technologies, Italian L2, situated didactics, educational software

    La stanza del noi

    Get PDF
Parole chiave: Esser-ci, atmosfere emotive, alterità, albo illustrato, differenza   Abstract: In children’s literature, a new narrative thread intertwines imagery with introspection to shape “rooms of the self,” inspired by Virginia Woolf’s concept of a personal space for female freedom and a regenerative site of interconnected and intersectional identity. This analysis offers a possible reading of Guendalina Passeri’s Una stanza tutta mia (2021), where emotional landscapes unfold, revealing different worlds: a small house that fills with sand, clouds, and gusts of wind when the blue-haired protagonist feels anger; a room teeming with waves and drifting paper boats in moments of confusion; or one bright with color and toy trains during joyful times. Through direct dialogue with the reader, the protagonist guides them, page by page, alongside her raccoon toy companion, into her own personal room. The author’s intention goes beyond presenting “furniture” as mere symbols of emotions that decorate the room; rather, it seeks to immerse the reader, inviting them to envision a space of their own. The “inner space” thus becomes not a confined feminine space but an opening toward difference, enabling introspection while engaging with the emotions found in “other rooms.” It emerges as a transformative place that can resonate with those who choose to enter and inhabit it. This analysis aims to explore how these emotional spaces support identity formation in childhood narratives. Keywords: Being-there, emotional atmospheres, otherness, picture book, difference.
