EnThe Covid-19 pandemic represented a critical juncture that profoundly transformed social, political, and economic life. This article analyzes the repertoire of pandemicrelated contention in Italy, investigating how individuals, groups, and social categories responded to the containment measures adopted by the government between 2020 and 2022. Drawing on literature on disasters, lethal conflicts, and social movements, the study uses the ACLED dataset to map over 5,900 protest events, aiming to explore the dynamics of mobilization in a state of emergency. The findings show that, in the absence of direct network ties, protests spread through cultural, emotional, and symbolic channels, shaping a form of mobilization that was highly heterogeneous and deeply rooted in everyday experiences. Particular attention is given to the repertoires of action adopted-including flash mobs, symbolic acts, and civil disobedience-and the underlying motivations, ranging from demands for social rights to opposition to public health restrictions. The article proposes to understand the pandemic as a revelatory event, capable of generating new forms of conflict and redefining the grammars of collective participation. Finally, it reflects on the transformative potential (and limits) of such mobilizations, highlighting the crucial role of emotions and narratives in shaping new political subjectivities
Confirmed occurrence of the Por's goatfish Upeneus pori (Mullidae) in the Tunisian Waters (Central Mediterranean Sea)
From a lot of mullid species captured around the Kerkennah Islands, 31 specimens of the Por's Sea goatfish Upeneus pori Ben-Tuvia and Golani 1989 were examined. They measured between 147 and 156 mm, in total length (TL) and their total body weight ranged between 32.6 and 40.8 g. Some morphometric measurements and merisctic counts were also carried out. These captures confirm that a viable population U. pori is at present successfully established in the Tunisian marine waters
Statistical Inference for the Unit Inverse Weibull Distribution Using Ranked Set Sampling with COVID-19 Application
This study compares parameter estimation methods for the unit inverseWeibull distribution under ranked set sampling (RSS) and simple randomsampling (SRS). We examine Maximum Product Spacing Estimation, Ordi-nary Least Squares Estimation, Maximum Likelihood Estimation, WeightedLeast Squares Estimation, Anderson-Darling Estimation, Left-Tail Anderson-Darling Estimation, Right-Tail Anderson-Darling Estimation, Cram´er-vonMises Estimation, Minimum Spacing Absolute Distance Estimation, Mini-mum Spacing Square Distance Estimation, Minimum Spacing Absolute-LogDistance Estimation, and Minimum Spacing Square Log Distance Estima-tion. Monte Carlo simulations evaluate estimator performance using meansquared error, bias, and mean absolute relative error. A COVID-19 datasetvalidates the practical applicability of the methods. Results show RSS-basedestimators consistently outperform SRS counterparts across all metrics andestimation techniques. RSS demonstrates superior accuracy with reducedbias and lower mean squared error, particularly in small sample scenar-ios. These findings establish RSS as the preferred approach for unit inverseWeibull parameter estimation, providing significant improvements in statis-tical efficiency and reliability for practical applications
Inference and Application of Modified Lehmann Type-II Fr\'echet Distribution using Progressively Censored Data
In this article, we introduce a new three-parameter Fr\'echet distribution via the modified Lehmann Type-II class of distributions and investigate its properties, inferential methods, and real-world application. Fundamental distributional properties such as the quantile function, moments, moment generating function, entropy, and order statistics have been discussed. Inferential results have been obtained within the classical and Bayesian frameworks, utilizing a progressive censoring scheme. In the classical estimation framework, maximum likelihood estimation and maximum product spacing estimation are considered to obtain the estimates using the Newton-Raphson method. In addition, approximate confidence intervals have been derived using maximum likelihood estimation estimates. Meanwhile, we have used informative and non-informative prior via likelihood and product spacing functions to find the Bayes estimates in the Bayesian framework. Since the posterior distributions cannot be expressed in closed form, we employ a combination of Gibbs sampling and the Metropolis-Hastings algorithm to obtain the Bayes estimates.Furthermore, credible intervals are constructed using the Bayes estimates under informative and non-informative Prior. A comprehensive simulation study is carried out to assess the performance of the proposed estimation techniques. To demonstrate the practical utility of the proposed model, a real-life dataset is analyzed, showcasing the effectiveness of the proposed methodologies
Avances y resistencias en la introducción de la perspectiva de género en el aula de traducción. Una experiencia docente
The aim of this paper is to present the improvements and resistances in the introduction of the gender perspective in the translation class. Specifically, the paper deals with the results of a teaching experience with a gender perspective, undertaken in the translation class (Italian-Spanish). It is part of a teaching innovation project geared to carrying out a pilot study on introducing a gender dimension into a number of subjects of the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona’s Translation and Interpreting degree program, through different learning objectives and learning outcomes specifically related to gender competence. The purpose of developing gender competence in the translation classroom is to stimulate critical thinking in students, providing them with new tools to recognize stereotypes, norms and social gender roles present in the starting texts, so that students learn to problematize socialization patterns and to develop skills and strategies that allow them to translate with a feminist conscience and ethics. The development of these skills often depends on the academic context and the attitude of teachers and students towards the gender dimension. Thus, the article presents: the main resistance of teachers and students to the introduction of the gender dimension in the translation class; the subject of translation and the learning objectives related to gender competence: the description of the teaching experience; the results obtained through the analysis of the translations and the questionnaires completed by the students, and the conclusions

Punk Music, Discourse, and Culture. Exploring the Intersection with Edupunk
This study explores the dynamic relationship between punk music, its evolving discourse, and its influence on the edupunk movement, which advocates for alternative, learner-centered education rooted in punk’s anti-authoritarian and DIY ethos. Using an interdisciplinary approach combining critical discourse analysis, cultural studies, and education, the research examines how punk music serves as a platform for socio-cultural critique, artistic expression, and educational innovation. By analyzing punk lyrics across time and tracing the genre’s thematic and stylistic shifts, the study highlights punk’s role in fostering rebellion, countercultural critique, and grassroots activism. It also investigates how punk’s principles of accessibility, inclusivity, and learner agency inform edupunk practices, challenging traditional educational structures and empowering learners. Ultimately, the study highlights the potential of punk-inspired approaches to promote social justice, critical consciousness, and cultural resistance in education, while acknowledging the complexities of this intersection
