Harnessing Green-Synthesized TiO2 Nanoparticles for Superior Photocatalytic Degradation of Pollutants in Aquatic Environments
Hypergeometric series, lemniscate functions, -extensions and Jacobi elliptic functions
In this paper, we provide a solution to an open problem posed by Campbell and Chu [12] concerning the explicit evaluation of a constant known as the 'lemniscate-like constant.' We demonstrate that by utilizing tools related to the primary Jacobi elliptic functions, we can derive a closed-form expression in terms of generalizations of Zeta and Polylogarithm functions and well-known mathematical constants. Lastly, we establish that our primary outcome establishes a non-obvious connection between various and disparate mathematical entities
Il mito dell'antica Grecia nel Risorgimento italiano
Between the second half of the 18th century and the early decades of the 19th century, there was a widespread revival of interest in the Greek world across Europe, with a particular emphasis on its classical components. This period marked the beginning of a broad philhellenic sentiment – a movement of sympathy and friendship towards the ancient Hellenes and modern Greeks – that would provide significant support for the Greek people's fight for liberty against Ottoman rule during the first half of the 19th century. This sentiment was further fueled by the flow of exiles fleeing countries impacted by reactionary forces and the Holy Alliance. The myth of Hellas, it should be noted, had been present in Western culture since at least the Middle Ages. However, between the late 18th and early 19th centuries, the discovery and idealization of ancient Greece became foundational elements in shaping European identity, which identified Greece as the cradle of European culture. Building on this context, the contribution focuses on the revival of the myth of ancient Greece during the Italian Risorgimento. This theme is reconstructed succinctly and in its essential aspects through contemporary writings and sources, as well as through a selection of noteworthy bibliographic contributions from both the national and international scholarly landscape
L'Italia dall'inverno demografico a quello democratico.
EnThe referendum proposed over Law 91/1992 about citizenship's rights has several pitfalls. The result of its legislative surgery skilled strategy could be of a one step forward and two back for immigrants' rights. The article tries to highlight how citizenship regime represents a constitutive policy arena, as it challenges post-democracies on their identity. In Italy, both the restrictive policy path and the oppositive public sphere about immigrants' citizenship rights would suggest the adoption of combined sectoral measures to tackle with the double winter, demographic and democratic, featuring the Italian system
