Women, Workers, Immigrants: Situated Representations of Trade Union Mobilizations in Italy within the Logistics Sector
Get PDFIn recent years, logistics workers (who are mostly immigrants) have engaged in various important labour mobilizations. Although it is a male dominated sector, women workers, when present, have played an incredibly active role. This was the case in the mobilizations in Bologna's interport at the sorting, packaging and shipping warehouses of Yoox Net-A-Porter, a luxury e-commerce giant in the fashion industry, and at Italpizza's production plant for the rolling out and topping of frozen pizzas, near Modena, both in Italy. This article will report on a qualitative research aimed at analyzing the working conditions of the immigrant women who took part in the mobilisations and recording their representations of the repercussions and implications that these struggles had on their lives and on the socio-territorial contexts in which they took place. The research revealed that these labour conflicts involving immigrant women extended beyond the workplace, actively involving various groups within their socio-territorial context (associations, collectives, social centers, etc.), encompassing diverse struggles and going beyond purely union-related demands. Furthermore, these collective and self-organized experiences generated spaces for mutual care, the recognition of their agency, and personal and collective empowerment with broad transformative potential. In doing so, they created a sort of "community of struggle," a consequence of the action of "Indie Unions" and the emergence of "Community"

Get PDFRiassunto: Il presente lavoro analizza il ruolo educativo del fisioterapista nella gestione del dolore muscoloscheletrico, con particolare attenzione alle componenti psicologiche e sociali implicate nella cronicizzazione del dolore. Alla luce del modello biopsicosociale, il dolore viene inquadrato come un’esperienza complessa e multidimensionale, influenzata da fattori biologici, psicologici e sociali. In questo contesto, il fisioterapista assume un ruolo centrale nell’educazione terapeutica del paziente, non limitandosi alla gestione del sintomo, ma promuovendo processi di empowerment e di autogestione. Viene approfondito l’approccio della fisioterapia psicologicamente informata, che integra strategie cliniche e psicologiche nella presa in carico del paziente, e si evidenzia il valore dell’alleanza terapeutica come strumento educativo essenziale. Infine, si sottolinea l’importanza di una formazione pedagogica adeguata per i fisioterapisti, al fine di sviluppare competenze comunicative ed educative efficaci, fondamentali nella pratica clinica contemporanea.Parole chiave: educazione terapeutica, fisioterapia, pedagogia. Abstract in inglese: This work analyses the educational role of physiotherapists in the management of musculoskeletal pain, with particular attention to the psychological and social components involved in chronic pain. In the light of the biopsychosocial model, pain is framed as a complex and multidimensional experience, influenced by biological, psychological and social factors. In this context, the physiotherapist assumes a central role in patient therapeutic education, not limiting himself to symptom management, but promoting processes of empowerment and self-management. The approach of psychologically informed physiotherapy, which integrates clinical and psychological strategies in the management of the patient, is deepened and the value of therapeutic alliance as an essential educational tool is highlighted. Finally, the importance of adequate pedagogical training for physiotherapists is stressed in 2 order to develop effective communicative and educational skills, which are fundamental in contemporary clinical practice.Keywords: therapeutic education, physiotherapy, pedagog

Minoranze etnolinguistiche e sviluppo delle aree interne: un'ipotesi per il riequilibrio territoriale
Get PDFGià da diversi anni in ambito scientifico prima e politico successivamente, ci si interroga sul significato di aree interne per giungere ad una definizione e quindi inclusione nelle misure di accompagnamento allo sviluppo. Dopo una lunga stagione di interventi focalizzatisi sulle città intese come centri propulsori di sviluppo, da oltre venti anni la geografia cerca di scandagliare il ruolo che alcune aree interne svolgono all'interno del processo di mutamento del territorio. L'attenzione è stata rivolta alle regioni meridionali intese come parte di un processo più articolato di rivalorizzazione di aree del Paese in ritardo di sviluppo. Lo studio si focalizza sul caso delle minoranze storiche arbërëshe (albanesi) riconosciute e presenti nelle aree interne della regione Basilicata (nei comuni quali Barile, Ginestra, Maschito ed altri) con l'obiettivo di proporre percorsi di valorizzazione territoriale, anche per mezzo del turismo delle radici, basati su elementi condivisi, quali confini geografici, riti e costumanze, memorie storiche e istituzionali comuni

Get PDFItIl contributo è una riflessione sullo Stato inteso in senso tipologico come un sistema autoritativo formatosi nell'Europa moderna e culminato nello "Stato moderno", la cui novità consiste nello sforzo consapevole e razionale nell'esercizio del monopolio della forza legittima, secondo le interpretazioni di Otto Hintze e Max Weber. Le riflessioni si collegano al binomio dei concetti brunneriani di terra e potere e, più in generale, al ruolo della storia costituzionale, distinguendo tra il concetto medievale di superioritas e quello moderno di monopolio della forza tipico dello "Stato moderno".EnThe contribution reflects on the state, understood in a typological sense, as an authoritative system that emerged in modern Europe and culminated in the 'modern state'. The novelty lies in the conscious and rational effort to monopolise legitimate force, as interpreted by Otto Hintze and Max Weber. These reflections are linked to Brunner's dual concepts of land and power, as well as the role of constitutional history. They distinguish between the medieval concept of superioritas and the modern concept of the monopoly of force typical of the 'modern state'

Get PDFIn recent decades, sustainability in sport has undergone a progressive process of institutionalization, evolving from philanthropic initiatives and corporate social responsibility (CSR) to a multidimensional approach that integrates environmental, social, governance, and economic dimensions (Moon et al., 2023). In European football, this trajectory has been shaped by several factors: on the one hand, the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the regulatory evolution in non-financial disclosure (NFRD, CSRD); on the other hand, the action of central organizations, particularly UEFA, which has assumed a leadership role through programs, regulations, and dedicated strategies, culminating in the UEFA Sustainability Strategy 2030 – Strength Through Unity. This multi-level framework, further enriched by international standards such as the Ruggie Principles and the ISSB, has progressively turned sustainability into a regulated and standardized domain, imposing increasing obligations on football clubs. Nevertheless, the sector remains characterized by structural contradictions and strong heterogeneity, resulting in a fragmented ecosystem where advanced practices coexist with outdated approaches
