General Background: The quality of education plays a pivotal role in shaping productive individuals, yet traditional teacher-centered methods still dominate classroom practices. Specific Background: At SMP Swasta Bangun Mulia P. Brandan, instructional approaches in Islamic Education often rely on passive learning, hindering students’ creative thinking development. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have mostly examined Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) in isolation, with limited integration in religious subjects and minimal focus on private junior high school settings. Aims: This study aims to investigate the individual and combined effects of IBL and PjBL strategies on students’ creative thinking abilities in the context of Islamic Cultural History learning. Results: Using a 2x2 factorial experimental design and ANOVA analysis, results show that both IBL and PjBL significantly enhance creative thinking skills, with PjBL showing a slightly higher average performance. A significant interaction effect was also found between teaching strategies and students’ creativity levels. Novelty: This study is among the first to combine IBL and PjBL in Islamic Education at a private school level, highlighting their synergistic potential. Implications: Findings support the integration of student-centered and project-driven approaches in religious education to foster creativity, suggesting practical pedagogical reforms for teachers in similar educational contexts.Highlight : Both Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) significantly improve students' creative thinking skills. PjBL shows stronger and more consistent results, especially among students with high creative potential. Combining IBL and PjBL yields synergistic effects and is especially effective in Islamic education contexts. General Background: The global secondhand luxury watch market has experienced rapid growth, becoming a crucial segment of the circular economy due to sustainability concerns and investment potential. Specific Background: Despite this potential, many Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries, such as Indonesia, struggle with informal operational practices, including inconsistent grading, unsystematic sorting, and fragmented inventory systems. Knowledge Gap: Existing studies on business process efficiency have rarely focused on SMEs in the pre-owned luxury watch sector, leaving a gap in structured frameworks tailored to this industry. Aims: This study aimed to design and validate a systematic operational model to enhance efficiency and decision-making in a case study SME, Watchout.id. Results: Using Business Process Mapping, a new workflow was created and complemented by two objective rubrics—an Effort Assessment and an Impact Assessment—integrated into a novel 3x3 Zoned Priority Matrix. This framework was further supported by a prototype inventory dashboard. Validation with the business owner confirmed the framework’s applicability and relevance. Novelty: The research introduces an enhanced decision-making tool beyond the traditional 2x2 matrix, offering more nuanced categorization and resource allocation strategies. Implications: The proposed framework provides a replicable model for SMEs in the secondhand luxury market, enabling more efficient, scalable, and data-driven operations. Highlights: Structured framework improves SME efficiency. 3x3 Priority Matrix enables nuanced decisions. Integrated dashboard enhances inventory visibility. General Background: Employee performance is a key determinant of organizational success, particularly in public service institutions. Specific Background: At the Social Service Office of Gunungkidul Regency, performance optimization is essential to meet increasing administrative and social demands. Knowledge Gap: While previous studies have addressed individual factors such as workload, stress, or motivation, limited research integrates these variables simultaneously within local government contexts in Indonesia. Aims: This study aims to examine the influence of workload, work stress, and work motivation on employee performance—both individually (partially) and collectively (simultaneously). Results: Using a quantitative ex post facto design with total sampling of 45 civil servants and contract workers, data were collected via validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that workload, work stress, and motivation each have a positive and significant effect on performance. Notably, moderate work stress (eustress) enhances alertness and discipline. Collectively, the three variables account for 82.5% of the variance in employee performance. Novelty: The study highlights the constructive role of moderate stress in public service performance, a nuance often overlooked in stress-performance literature. Implications: These findings suggest that managing optimal levels of workload, stress, and motivation is critical to enhancing public sector employee performance. Highlights: Balanced stress (eustress) can enhance employee effectiveness. Motivation significantly drives public service performance. Combined variables explain 82.5% of performance outcomes. General Background: The building materials industry plays a critical role in national development due to its connections with infrastructure, industrial supply chains, and economic sustainability. Specific Background: In Uzbekistan, recent policy shifts have elevated the sector's importance, yet challenges such as technological lag, import dependency, and uneven regional development persist. Knowledge Gap: Existing studies lack comprehensive, actionable strategies tailored to Uzbekistan’s specific industrial and regional contexts. Aim: This study aims to formulate a scientifically grounded strategy for the modernization and sustainable development of Uzbekistan’s building materials industry. Results: Analysis reveals a 25% growth in cement output from 2019 to 2023, a drop in import share from 25% to 15%, a doubling of exports, and rising employment. Nonetheless, high-tech materials and insulation products remain reliant on imports. Novelty: The study integrates comparative international best practices with national data to propose a multi-pronged strategy, including digitalization, clustering, and innovation-driven transformation. Implications: Implementation of the proposed reforms could enhance industrial self-sufficiency, boost exports, and support sustainable construction, aligning Uzbekistan’s sectoral development with both economic and environmental national goals. Highlights:  Technological Modernization Needed. Uzbekistan’s building materials industry has increased cement output, but still relies on imports for energy-efficient and high-tech products. Regional Clustering Proposed. The paper recommends establishing regional clusters to improve localization and resource-based production. Export Capacity is Rising. Cement and concrete product exports have doubled, showing strong international demand, but innovation is key for value-added goods. General Background: Employee retention has emerged as a pressing concern for organizations amid increasing competition for skilled talent, particularly in knowledge-intensive sectors. Specific Background: While career development and compensation are widely recognized as key determinants of employee commitment, their indirect effects through psychological mechanisms remain underexplored in Indonesia’s industrial context. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have largely examined these factors in isolation, within limited geographic or sectoral contexts, and rarely integrated job satisfaction and organizational engagement as dual mediators. Aim: This study investigates the extent to which organizational career development and compensation influence employee retention, with job satisfaction and organizational engagement as intervening variables, in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Jakarta. Results: Using survey data from 221 millennial employees analyzed through PLS-SEM, the findings show that career development enhances job satisfaction, while compensation improves both job satisfaction and engagement. In turn, satisfaction fosters engagement and directly increases retention, although career development and compensation do not directly affect retention. Novelty: The research advances employee retention models by simultaneously integrating career development, compensation, satisfaction, and engagement in a multi-path mediation framework. Implications: Organizations should emphasize the tangible implementation of career pathways and transparent compensation systems to build satisfaction and engagement, thereby securing long-term retention.Highlight : Career development and compensation influence job satisfaction. Job satisfaction increases organizational engagement. Engagement and satisfaction together support employee retention Keywords : Organizational Career Development, Compensation, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Engagement, Employee Retentio
