    General background: Solar energy is recognized as the most potent and abundant form of renewable energy available to meet global energy demands. Specific background: Despite its potential, solar power systems face challenges related to low efficiency, high operational costs, and safety concerns. Knowledge gap: These persistent issues require intelligent solutions, yet the integration of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) techniques into solar energy systems remains underexplored in practical and scalable contexts. Aims: This study aims to examine the role of AI—particularly Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and Reinforcement Learning (RL)—in addressing key limitations in solar power systems. Results: We highlight three main AI-driven use cases: performance forecasting, system optimization, and predictive maintenance, all of which significantly improve operational efficiency, reliability, and system longevity. Novelty: By leveraging AI’s adaptive and data-driven capabilities, this work presents an innovative framework for real-time decision-making and predictive analytics in solar energy systems. Implications: The findings underscore AI’s transformative potential in enabling the widespread, flexible, and sustainable integration of solar power into global energy infrastructures, thereby accelerating the transition toward a resilient and intelligent renewable energy future.     General Background: Graphene oxide (GO) and its derivatives, such as Schiff base-functionalized graphene oxide (GOTM), have gained significant attention due to their unique properties and potential applications in various fields. Specific Background: The synthesis and characterization of GOTM involve advanced spectroscopic techniques like FT-IR, XRD, Raman, and FESEM, along with computational analysis using Density Functional Theory (DFT). Knowledge Gap: Despite extensive research on GO, the influence of Schiff base functionalization on its chemical and electronic properties remains inadequately explored. Aims: This study aims to synthesize GOTM, characterize its structural and electronic properties, and analyze its stability and reactivity through DFT calculations. Results: The synthesis of GOTM was confirmed through FT-IR, XRD, Raman, EDX, and FESEM, revealing changes in surface morphology and electronic characteristics compared to GO. DFT calculations showed significant differences in reactivity indices and electronic properties between GO and GOTM. Novelty: This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the impact of Schiff base functionalization on GO’s electronic structure, offering new insights into its reactivity and stability. Implications: The findings contribute to the design of advanced materials with tailored electronic properties for applications in energy, sensors, and environmental technologies.     General Background: Forecasting the development of industrial enterprises is crucial for strategic planning and sustainable growth. Specific Background: Existing models employ mathematical statistics, economic-mathematical modeling, and regression analysis to predict key performance indicators. Knowledge Gap: However, there remains limited integration of multi-stage regression methods and elasticity analysis in forecasting industrial output over long-term periods. Aims: This study aims to construct a multifactorial forecasting model using multiple regression and correlation functions to estimate the gross product volume of industrial enterprises in Andijan region from 2024 to 2030. Results: The model, based on historical data from 2010–2023, achieved a high coefficient of determination (R = 0.962) and an acceptable forecast error (2–8%). Elasticity coefficients indicate consistent growth in production efficiency, despite fluctuations in capital fund efficiency. Novelty: The use of multi-stage regression and elasticity-based adjustments, combined with statistical extrapolation, offers a more accurate and regionally contextualized forecast of industrial performance. Implications: The findings support targeted strategic planning by highlighting district-level disparities and recommending policy measures such as resource reallocation, entrepreneurship development, and production modernization to ensure sustainable industrial growth through 2030.     The Effect of Nanoparticles on Mice Brain Tissue: Dampak Nanopartikel terhadap Struktur Jaringan Otak Tikus

    Nanoparticles (NPs) have attracted considerable attention in biomedical research due to their unique physicochemical properties and potential applications. Cerium oxide (CeO₂) nanoparticles, in particular, have shown promise for their antioxidant and neuroprotective properties. However, concerns remain regarding their safety and potential neurotoxicity, especially with long-term or high-dose exposure. Although research into their biomedical use is expanding, limited in vivo evidence exists on how cerium oxide nanoparticles affect brain tissue at the histological level. This study aimed to examine the histopathological impact of intraperitoneally administered cerium oxide nanoparticles in Mus musculus mice over four weeks. Mice were divided into two groups: one received 1 mL of physiological saline (control), and the other received 1 mL of a solution containing 3.75 µL of cerium oxide daily. After treatment, brain tissues were analyzed histologically. The treated group showed notable alterations in white matter, neurofibers, and glial cells, including glial cell aggregation, necrosis, and degeneration of white matter. These findings provide direct in vivo evidence of potential neurotoxic effects caused by cerium oxide nanoparticles. The study highlights the importance of careful dose regulation and calls for more research into their mechanisms of toxicity and long-term effects to ensure safe biomedical application.Highlight: Cerium oxide nanoparticles caused brain tissue damage in mice.     General Background: In an increasingly globalized society, fostering multicultural competence and global diversity character in primary education is critical for shaping tolerant and inclusive citizens. Specific Background: However, educational institutions often lack contextual, engaging materials to cultivate these competencies effectively, particularly through culturally rooted experiences. Knowledge Gap: Despite the potential of local culture as a medium for learning, studies rarely examine its integration through structured project-based modules in primary education. Aims: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a project-based learning module focused on traditional Bogor food in enhancing students’ multicultural competence and global diversity character within the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) framework. Results: Using a quasi-experimental design, the experimental class achieved a high average N-Gain score (0.74) for multicultural competence, surpassing the control class (0.60), and outperformed the control group by 7.5% in global diversity character scores. Novelty: The study introduces a novel instructional strategy that integrates traditional culinary practices into project learning to develop cultural awareness, empathy, and adaptability among elementary students. Implications: These findings suggest that embedding local cultural elements in project-based learning modules is a promising pedagogical approach to enrich multicultural and global character education in primary schools.Highlight : The traditional food project effectively improves students' multicultural competence and global diversity character.     Habituation Strategies for Developing Religious and Moral Values in Schools

Specific Background: Muhammadiyah Elementary School 13 Makam Bergola emphasizes religious habituation as part of its character education agenda. Knowledge Gap: However, limited studies have examined how structured school programs integrate with home environments to sustain value-based education. Aims: This study aims to explore the implementation and effectiveness of moral and religious value habituation at the school through a descriptive qualitative approach involving interviews with teachers, students, and parents. Results: Findings reveal that six core indicators—religious habituation, worship practices, praying, polite behavior, positive conduct, and greeting etiquette—are effectively embedded in daily school routines through strategies such as routine programming, teacher modeling, and reward systems. Novelty: The study highlights the innovative integration of parenting education and home-school collaboration to address the inconsistency of value practice between school and home environments.Implications: These results underscore the necessity of a holistic, school-family partnership model for sustainable moral and religious development in elementary education.     Determinants of Qris Usage Decisions in Culinary MSMEs Using the TAM Model

    Background: The rapid digitalization of payment systems in Indonesia presents a transformative opportunity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), yet adoption remains uneven. Specific Background: In particular, culinary MSMEs in Medan City exhibit varied levels of engagement with QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard), despite its potential to streamline transactions and enhance financial inclusion. Knowledge Gap: Limited empirical evidence exists on the behavioral drivers influencing QRIS adoption from an Islamic financial perspective, especially within the context of MSMEs. Aim: This study aims to examine the determinants of QRIS adoption among culinary MSMEs in Medan using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. Results: Using a quantitative approach involving 78 purposively sampled MSMEs and multiple linear regression analysis, the study reveals that perceived usability and Islamic financial literacy significantly and positively influence QRIS adoption, while perceived convenience unexpectedly has a negative effect. These variables collectively explain 36.8% of the variance in adoption behavior. Novelty: The integration of Islamic financial literacy into the TAM framework presents a novel analytical perspective within the fintech adoption discourse in emerging markets. Implications: To promote broader QRIS adoption, policymakers and financial institutions should prioritize educational interventions addressing perceived convenience and enhance digital literacy rooted in Islamic financial principles.     General Background: Character education has become a crucial agenda in Indonesian education policy, aiming to develop a generation embodying the noble values of Pancasila. Specific Background: Despite this emphasis, current classroom practices often prioritize cognitive knowledge over character development. Knowledge Gap: There is limited empirical evidence on the effectiveness of contextual learning models, particularly when mediated through concrete teaching tools, in shaping student character at the elementary level. Aims: This study investigates the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach using media to foster character development among 5th-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 18 Plus Surabaya. Results: Findings demonstrate that media-based CTL effectively cultivates critical thinking, independence, cooperation, and creativity. Data revealed that over 50% of students reached the “Very Developed” level in character indicators aligned with the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile. Novelty: This study introduces a contextual, media-supported character education model grounded in real-life student experiences, integrated with formative assessment and teacher facilitation strategies.     Customer Preferences in Choosing Ijarah Contracts at Islamic Banks

    General Background: Islamic financing contracts, such as the Ijarah Agreement, are vital instruments in Sharia-based banking. Specific Background: Despite their growing adoption, limited research has empirically explored the determinants of their use among Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) clients. Knowledge Gap: There is a lack of understanding regarding which factors significantly drive customer decisions toward Ijarah products. Aims: This study aims to identify and assess the key factors influencing the adoption of Ijarah Agreements among clients of Bank BSI Lubuk Pakam. Results: Using a quantitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling of 40 respondents, the study employed SPSS 22 for statistical analysis, including normality, regression, and significance testing. The results show that product quality and margins significantly affect customer decisions, whereas service quality and financing methods have negligible impact. The adjusted R² value of 0.629 indicates that 62.9% of decision variance is explained by the tested variables. Novelty: This study offers new empirical insights into how specific product attributes and profitability shape customer behavior in Ijarah financing. Implications: The findings underscore the need for Sharia banks to prioritize product excellence and competitive margins to enhance Ijarah adoption.
