General background: Memorization of the Qur’an (Qur’anic Tahfid) is a central practice in Islamic education that extends beyond religious devotion to cognitive and emotional development. Specific background: Previous studies suggest that Qur’anic Tahfid fosters memory, discipline, and motivation, which are essential for academic excellence. Knowledge gap: However, the relationship between psychological conditions and the effectiveness of Qur’anic Tahfid remains underexplored, with limited empirical evidence connecting memorization practices to academic achievement in modern educational contexts. Aims: This study aims to analyze the influence of Qur’anic Tahfid on students’ academic performance by reviewing indexed scientific literature published between 2020–2025. Results: Findings indicate a significant positive correlation between Qur’anic memorization and academic outcomes, where students excelling in Tahfid consistently demonstrate superior performance in other subjects, supported by enhanced memory control, discipline, and emotional regulation. Novelty: This research highlights Qur’anic Tahfid as not only a spiritual practice but also a pedagogical strategy that strengthens cognitive functions and psychological resilience. Implications: Integrating Qur’anic Tahfid into formal curricula provides a holistic educational approach that promotes intellectual, emotional, and moral development, positioning it as a foundation for academic excellence and lifelong learning. Highlights: Qur’anic Tahfid enhances memory, discipline, and motivation. Strong correlation exists between Tahfid and academic achievement. Integration into curricula supports holistic student development. Keywords: Qur’anic Tahfid, Academic Excellence, Cognitive Development, Emotional Regulation, Holistic Educatio

General Background: Islamic banking has grown significantly in Indonesia, particularly among students seeking Sharia-compliant financial services. Specific Background: Bank Sumut Syariah, as a regional Islamic bank, serves UINSU students whose preferences are influenced by religious and practical factors. Knowledge Gap: While many studies focus on national Islamic banks, limited research explores student behavior toward local Sharia banks like Bank Sumut Syariah. Aims: This study aims to identify and analyze the dominant factors affecting UINSU students’ decisions to save at Bank Sumut Syariah. Results: Using a sample of 100 students and multiple regression analysis, the findings show that Sharia compliance, security, trust, and facilities significantly affect savings decisions, with Sharia compliance being the most influential (B = 0.312). The model explains 60.2% of the variation in saving behavior (Adjusted R² = 0.602), and the research instrument is highly reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.931). Novelty: This research uniquely integrates four key variables into a localized behavioral model specific to a regional Islamic bank and student demographic. Implications: The results provide strategic insights for Islamic banks to prioritize Sharia integrity and responsive digital services to foster loyalty and align financial practices with students' religious and lifestyle values.Highlight : Sharia compliance is the most influential factor in students’ saving behavior. Security, trust, and facilities also have significant roles. The model explains 60.2% of the decision variation using four key variables. General Background: The tourism sector is increasingly recognized as a critical component of national economic development due to its multifaceted impact on employment, infrastructure, and cultural preservation. Specific Background: In Uzbekistan, tourism reforms between 2020 and 2024 have aimed to accelerate growth through infrastructural investments, digital innovations, and policy shifts. Knowledge Gap: However, empirical studies focusing on synergistic management—particularly the integrated coordination among tourism sub-sectors—remain limited, especially in the Uzbek context. Aims: This study investigates the mechanisms and outcomes of synergistic development across hotel, transport, gastronomy, excursion, and information services in Uzbekistan’s tourism sector. Results: Using qualitative methods and statistical review, the study finds significant post-pandemic recovery in tourism revenue and infrastructure, yet highlights persistent challenges in inter-sectoral coordination, digital integration, and service standardization. Novelty: The paper introduces a contextualized model of synergistic tourism management tailored to Uzbekistan, integrating global theoretical frameworks with local empirical trends. Implications: The findings underscore the need for cohesive digital platforms, functional cluster governance, and competency-based workforce training to advance sustainable tourism and improve Uzbekistan’s global competitiveness.Higlights:  Post-Pandemic Growth: Tourist arrivals in Uzbekistan surged from 1.5 million (2020) to 6.6 million (2023) due to integrated reforms. Infrastructure Expansion: Hotels, tourist companies, and transport services grew over 50%, enhancing service availability. Low Coordination: Despite growth, weak cross-sector synergy and fragmented digital systems still limit overall tourism efficiency. General Background: Service quality in railway transport, especially in hygiene-based roles such as On Train Cleaning (OTC), is crucial to ensuring passenger comfort and satisfaction. Specific Background: PT KAI (Persero) Daop IV Semarang faces persistent challenges in maintaining cleaning standards, potentially rooted in internal workforce dynamics. Knowledge Gap: While prior studies have examined discipline, supervision, and organizational culture individually, their integrated impact on service quality within the railway cleaning context remains underexplored. Aims: This study aims to investigate the simultaneous influence of employee discipline, supervision, and organizational culture on the quality of OTC services. Results: Using a quantitative approach with 160 respondents and multiple linear regression, the study found that discipline (β = 0.234; p = 0.001) and organizational culture (β = 0.215; p = 0.013) significantly affect service quality, while supervision has no significant effect (β = 0.016; p = 0.839). The model explains 17.1% of service quality variance. Novelty: This research integrates three variables within a specialized operational setting—OTC in railway transport—rarely highlighted in previous studies. Implications: The findings suggest PT KAI should prioritize discipline and cultural reinforcement over supervisory interventions to elevate cleaning service standards and improve customer satisfaction.Highlight : Discipline and organizational culture contribute significantly to improving the quality of OTC services. General Background: Traditional financial theories, such as the Efficient Market Hypothesis and Modern Portfolio Theory, assume rational, utility-maximizing investors. Specific Background: However, empirical evidence shows persistent cognitive and emotional biases—loss aversion, overconfidence, herding, mental accounting, and anchoring—that distort investment decisions and market outcomes. Knowledge Gap: Despite growing interest in behavioral finance, there remains insufficient synthesis that integrates these psychological factors with conventional financial frameworks, particularly across diverse contexts. Aims: This study conducts a comprehensive literature review to examine how behavioral finance theories influence individual and institutional investment decisions. Results: The findings reveal that systematic biases shape investor behavior by driving excessive risk-taking, irrational asset allocation, and susceptibility to market inefficiencies, thereby challenging rational-choice models. Novelty: Unlike prior works, this review offers a structured thematic synthesis of behavioral concepts, highlights empirical patterns across global studies, and underscores the interdisciplinary relevance of psychology in finance. Implications: The study calls for reform in financial education, the integration of behavioral diagnostics into fintech, and the development of policy tools informed by cognitive biases, ultimately contributing to more resilient investment strategies and adaptive financial systems.Highlights: Investor decisions are often shaped by psychological biases rather than rational models. Behavioral finance provides tools to anticipate and correct irrational market behaviors. Integrating psychology into financial education and policy enhances decision-making.
