Writing Explanatory Text Skills through the Project Based Learning Model : Keterampilan Menulis Teks Eksplanasi melalui Model Project Based Learning
General background: Keterampilan menulis merupakan kompetensi penting dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, yang membutuhkan integrasi aspek menyimak, berbicara, dan membaca. Specific background: Namun, hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik kelas V MI Assu’udiyah masih kesulitan menulis teks eksplanasi sesuai struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan, sehingga tingkat ketuntasan belajar rendah. Knowledge gap: Meskipun penelitian sebelumnya membuktikan keefektifan Project-Based Learning (PJBL), kajian yang spesifik pada penerapan PJBL dalam menulis teks eksplanasi di tingkat madrasah ibtidaiyah masih terbatas. Aims: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses dan hasil keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi melalui penerapan model PJBL pada peserta didik kelas V MI Assu’udiyah. Results: Melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dua siklus dengan 16 siswa, ditemukan peningkatan signifikan pada aktivitas guru, partisipasi siswa, serta hasil menulis. Ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 60% pada siklus I menjadi 81,25% pada siklus II, dengan pergeseran mayoritas siswa ke kategori “Baik” dan “Sangat Baik.” Novelty: Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penerapan PJBL yang tidak hanya menilai hasil tulisan, tetapi juga mengkaji proses keterlibatan siswa secara kolaboratif dan kontekstual. Implications: Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa PJBL relevan sebagai strategi pembelajaran dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka untuk memperkuat literasi menulis sekaligus menumbuhkan keterampilan abad ke-21.

Improving Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes Through Picture and Picture Model: Meningkatkan Hasil Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Melalui Model Gambar dan Gambar
Background (General): Indonesian language learning at the elementary level is essential for developing students’ literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills, yet national assessments (PISA, AN) indicate persistent weaknesses in reading and comprehension. Background (Specific): At SDN 36/II Sarana Jaya, many fourth-grade students struggled with low motivation and poor outcomes in Indonesian due to monotonous lecture-based teaching. Knowledge Gap: Limited empirical evidence exists on the effectiveness of visual-based learning strategies, such as the Picture and Picture model, in improving Indonesian language outcomes at the primary level. Aim: This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes and engagement through the implementation of the Picture and Picture model in classroom practice. Results: Conducted as Classroom Action Research in two cycles with 25 students, the study revealed improvements in teacher performance (from 83% to 91%), student activity (from 25% to 70% in the “good” category), and learning achievement (from 35% to 90% mastery). Novelty: The study demonstrates how structured use of sequential images can scaffold comprehension, stimulate interaction, and enhance narrative skills in Indonesian. Implications: The findings suggest that Picture and Picture is an effective, replicable model for promoting literacy, active learning, and classroom engagement in elementary education.Highlight :

Parachute Speed Chute Training on Dribbling Speed of Young Soccer Players: Latihan Parasut Speed Chute pada Kecepatan Dribbling Pemain Sepak Bola Usia Muda
General Background: Kecepatan merupakan komponen fisik penting dalam sepak bola modern karena berpengaruh pada transisi permainan, duel satu lawan satu, dan efektivitas serangan. Specific Background: Banyak pemain muda SSB Sangar Muda masih menunjukkan keterbatasan dalam akselerasi dan dribbling, sehingga diperlukan metode latihan yang dapat meningkatkan performa tersebut. Knowledge Gap: Penelitian sebelumnya banyak menyoroti latihan resistance sprint pada atlet remaja atau dewasa, sementara bukti empiris pada pemain usia dini masih terbatas. Aims: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan speed chute parasut terhadap peningkatan kecepatan dribbling pemain SSB Sangar Muda usia 11–13 tahun. Results: Hasil penelitian dengan desain one group pretest–posttest pada 23 sampel menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dengan selisih rata-rata 2,69 detik (p = 0,000 < 0,05). Distribusi kategori performa juga bergeser dari mayoritas “Kurang Baik” menjadi “Cukup,” “Baik,” bahkan “Sangat Baik.” Novelty: Studi ini memberikan bukti bahwa latihan resistance sprint menggunakan parasut dapat diadaptasi secara efektif pada pembinaan usia dini, berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang berfokus pada kelompok usia lebih tua. Implications: Hasil ini menyarankan pelatih untuk mengintegrasikan speed chute training ke dalam program rutin guna memperkuat daya ledak, akselerasi, serta keterampilan dribbling, sehingga mendukung kesiapan fisik dan teknis pemain menghadapi tuntutan sepak bola modern.

Analysis of the Relationship between Green Technology and Sustainable Development (United Arab Emirates as a Model): Analisis Hubungan antara Teknologi Hijau dan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (Uni Emirat Arab sebagai Model)
General Background: Green technology has emerged as a critical driver in addressing environmental degradation, climate change, and resource depletion while supporting global sustainability goals. Specific Background: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has positioned itself as a regional leader in adopting green technologies, investing heavily in research, development, and infrastructure across energy, education, transportation, and health sectors. Knowledge Gap: Despite global interest, limited empirical research examines how national strategies, technological indicators, and innovation outputs collectively shape the UAE’s sustainable development trajectory. Aims: This study aims to analyze the relationship between green technology and sustainable development in the UAE, focusing on its policies, applications, and challenges. Results: Findings reveal that increased R&D expenditure, growth in scientific publications, expansion of renewable energy projects, and rising patent registrations significantly contributed to advancing smart cities, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Novelty: The research provides an integrated assessment of technological, economic, and institutional dimensions, offering a comprehensive view of how green technology drives sustainability in an Arab context. High User Satisfaction and Improvement Priorities in Wondr by Bank Negara Indonesia: Kepuasan Pengguna yang Tinggi dan Prioritas Peningkatan di Wondr oleh Bank Negara Indonesia
General Background: The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed the banking industry, leading to the development of mobile banking applications that emphasize user experience and satisfaction. Specific Background: Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) introduced the Wondr by BNI application as an enhancement to its previous mobile banking service, offering a more integrated financial ecosystem. However, its relatively low user rating compared to its predecessor indicates potential service quality issues. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have rarely integrated Google’s HEART Metrics and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to holistically assess mobile banking user experience. Aims: This study aims to evaluate user satisfaction with Wondr by BNI using HEART Metrics—covering Happiness, Engagement, Adoption, Retention, and Task Success—combined with IPA to identify improvement priorities. Results: The findings reveal that overall satisfaction levels are high, with Happiness, Adoption, and Retention exceeding the 80% usability target, while Engagement and Task Success require improvement. Most attributes fall into the “Maintain Performance” quadrant, though several aspects such as responsiveness and notification reliability remain suboptimal. Novelty: This research uniquely applies a dual-method framework to uncover both experiential and performance-based gaps in mobile banking services. Implications: The results provide strategic insights for optimizing user experience and guiding continuous digital service innovation in Indonesia’s banking sector.

A Survey of Rare and Endangered Dicotyledonous Wild Plants
General background: Biodiversity loss is accelerating worldwide, with wild plants particularly vulnerable to climate change, urban expansion, and unsustainable exploitation. Specific background: In Iraq, especially Diyala Province, the scarcity of studies on rare and endangered dicotyledonous plants limits conservation planning and sustainable use. Knowledge gap: Despite the ecological and socio-economic importance of these plants, systematic documentation of their taxonomy, distribution, and local uses remains insufficient. Aims: This study aimed to conduct a comprehensive field survey to identify, classify, and assess rare and endangered dicotyledonous plants across Diyala Province. Results: Over three years (2021–2023), 300 species from 176 genera and 45 families were collected; among them, 20 rare and highly threatened species belonging to 19 genera and 10 families were recorded, with documentation of their growth forms, geographic distribution, and multiple local uses. Novelty: This is the first extensive, seasonally based survey providing detailed taxonomic classification and ethnobotanical insights into rare wild dicotyledons in Diyala. Implications: The findings highlight the urgent need for conservation measures to sustain plant biodiversity, safeguard genetic resources, and ensure continued ecological and community benefits.

Gut Microbiota Dynamics in Obesity and Metabolic Regulation
General Background: Obesity is one of the fastest-growing global public health challenges, contributing to over 60% of deaths linked to elevated body mass index (BMI). Specific Background: Emerging evidence highlights the gut microbiota as a critical factor in the onset and progression of obesity by influencing dietary energy extraction and regulating host genes involved in fat storage and metabolism. Knowledge Gap: While the relationship between gut microbiota and metabolic health is increasingly recognized, the mechanisms through which microbial modulation can be translated into effective preventive or therapeutic strategies remain insufficiently explored. Aim: This study emphasizes the role of gut microbiota in health and disease, with a focus on the potential of probiotics and prebiotics to improve gut and immune health. Results: Findings demonstrate that gut microbiota composition is highly variable and shaped by diet, nutrients, lifestyle, and environmental exposures, suggesting its potential as a modifiable factor in obesity prevention. Novelty: This review underscores the dynamic nature of gut microbiota and positions its modulation through dietary and microbial interventions as a promising strategy for obesity management. Implications: Promoting microbial balance with prebiotics, probiotics, fermented foods, fruits, and vegetables, while reducing intake of saturated fats and refined sugars, offers a feasible and evidence-based approach for the prevention and treatment of obesity.

Endothelial Dysfunction Biomarkers in Chronic Hypertension and Their Clinical : Penanda Biologis Disfungsi Endotel pada Hipertensi Kronis dan Aplikasinya Klinis
Background: Endothelial dysfunction is a key factor linking hypertension, inflammation, and metabolic disturbances, yet its biomarker profile in chronic hypertension remains insufficiently clarified. Specific Background: The vascular endothelium regulates vascular tone and homeostasis, but persistent hypertension alters its function through inflammatory and oxidative pathways. Knowledge Gap: Although endothelial impairment is recognized in cardiovascular disease, comprehensive biomarker-based evidence in chronic hypertensive patients is limited, particularly in Middle Eastern populations. Aim: This study aimed to assess endothelial dysfunction biomarkers and their correlations with metabolic and inflammatory markers in patients with chronic hypertension. Results: A case-control study involving 100 hypertensive patients and 50 healthy controls revealed significantly elevated endothelin-1, VCAM-1, ICAM-1, E-selectin, CRP, IL-6, TNF-α, MDA, total cholesterol, LDL-C, triglycerides, and fasting glucose, alongside reduced NO, SOD, and HDL-C (p < 0.001). Biomarker levels correlated positively with age, BMI, hypertension duration, and inflammatory indices. Novelty: This study provides integrative evidence linking vascular, inflammatory, and metabolic biomarkers with disease severity, emphasizing endothelial dysfunction as a multifactorial process in hypertension. Implications: The findings underscore the potential of biomarker profiling to improve risk stratification, early detection of complications, and the design of targeted therapeutic interventions in chronic hypertension.Highlight :

Prevalence and Determinants of Osteoporosis Among Adults
General background: Osteoporosis is a major global health concern, particularly among older adults and women, due to its association with fragility fractures, disability, and mortality. Specific background: In Iraq, limited research has examined the prevalence and determinants of osteoporosis, despite rising cases linked to aging and lifestyle factors. Knowledge gap: Few population-based studies have systematically explored the interaction of biological, reproductive, and lifestyle factors in shaping osteoporosis risk in Diyala province. Aim: This study investigated the prevalence of osteoporosis and identified significant risk factors among adults in Diyala. Results: A cross-sectional analysis of 190 participants (130 females, 60 males; aged 21–80) revealed a significant association between osteoporosis and factors such as menopause, breastfeeding practices, pregnancy number, and oophorectomy (p < 0.001). Age and gender were also significantly associated with prevalence, with women disproportionately affected. Novelty: Unlike prior studies that mainly assessed bone density, this research integrates demographic, reproductive, and lifestyle variables to clarify their relative contributions in a Middle Eastern context. Implications: Findings highlight the urgent need for targeted prevention programs, including lifestyle modification and public health education, to mitigate osteoporosis burden in Iraq and similar settings.

Redefining Women’s Roles through Islamic Feminism on the “Bener Gitu?” Channel
General Background: The role of women in society and Islam has long been a subject of debate, especially in the digital era where online media shape religious and gender discourse. Specific Background: The YouTube channel “Bener Gitu?”, initiated by the Indika Foundation, represents a form of digital da’wah that redefines women’s roles in social and religious contexts through accessible, youth-oriented audio-visual narratives. Knowledge Gap: Despite the rise of digital religious communication, limited research has examined how digital platforms reconstruct women’s social and religious identities from an Islamic feminist perspective. Aims: This study aims to analyze the reconception of women’s roles in the “Bener Gitu?” channel using a qualitative netnographic method with Asghar Ali Engineer’s Islamic Feminism framework. Results: The findings reveal four major reconceptualizations: shared domestic responsibilities between men and women, women’s right to participate in public life, monogamy as the ideal marital form, and individual moral accountability for women. Novelty: The research bridges digital da’wah studies with Islamic feminist theory, presenting a new understanding of how online media serve as agents of gender equality. Implications: This study highlights the potential of digital platforms to foster inclusive Islamic narratives that promote justice, equality, and social transformation in the modern Muslim community.
