Activities, Resources, and Learning Environment: A Case Study of Science Learning at Sekolah Alam
This study examines science education activities, resources, and the learning environment at Sekolah Alam Al Fath Jambi Junior High School. Using a case study approach, the research involves direct observations, interviews with teachers and students, and learning materials analysis to understand the impact of various learning methods on student outcomes. The findings highlight that science learning activities align with the Sekolah Alam concept, emphasizing project-based, experiential, nature-based, and collaborative approaches. Learning occurs inside and outside the classroom, utilizing the natural surroundings for exploration and field experiments. Resources include school gardens, outbound areas, natural materials, and collaborations with local experts. The learning environment, assessed through the WIHIC questionnaire, supports student success through dimensions like cohesiveness, teacher support, involvement, task orientation, cooperation, equity, enjoyment, and academic efficacy. This study underscores the effectiveness of nature-integrated and experiential approaches in enhancing science learning outcomes and offers recommendations for advancing educational practices in similar settings
Functions and Roles of Android Learning Media as an Effort Improving Students' Learning Abilities and Character
Character education has the task of developing students' potential to have good hearts and behavior. This study aims to improve the quality of students' character through interactive learning media based on android. The characters developed are discipline, honesty, mutual respect and appreciation. This study is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research design uses the Stringer action research model with core activities consisting of three stages. The stages consist of observation, data analysis, and action and evaluation. Data collection techniques are obtained through observation and questionnaires. The results of the study from each cycle I character on each score: discipline, never 3, rarely 19, often 22, and always 20. Honest aspect, never 0, rarely 19, often 24, always 21. Aspect of respect and respect, never 1, rarely 17, often 23, always 24. Cycle II, discipline aspect, never 1, rarely 14, often 27, always 24. The honest aspect is never 0, rarely 13, often 27, always 24. The respect and respect, never 0, rarely 12, often 25, always 27
Development of Biology Teaching Material Supplements Based on the Potential of Gorontalo Karst Vegetation using a Biodiversity Literacy Approach
Vegetation is a community of plants of various species that live in a certain environmental condition and interactions occur in it. The fact of the vegetation analysis course material and has implications for students in vegetation analysis lecture activities. The development of teaching materials based on the potential of karst ecosystems can be carried out with a biodiversity literacy approach. The aims of this study to develop vegetation analysis materials supplements, by utilizing the results of vegetation analysis and their interaction with plant root microorganisms in karst ecosystems. The research mtheods used R&D method with the ADDIE model. The stages of research are analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results obtained showed that the form of supplement materials based on biodiversity literacy in the vegetation analysis course, had a validation result of 93.75% which was included in the range of 81% to 100%, in the aspect of design the supplement materials was 91.67% that indicated very good quality,with in the range 81% to 100%, the student response to the overall aspect in 94%, where this value is included in the very good category because it is in the range of 81 to 100%
PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL BERBASIS ANDROID PADA MATA PELAJARAN INFORMATIKA DI SMK N 9 PADANG
This research aims to develop an Android-based E-Module as a learning medium for Informatics subjects. The E-Module is designed to enhance students’ interest, motivation, and learning outcomes, enabling them to better understand the material comprehensively. The study adopts the IDI (Instructional Development Institute) method, which includes the stages of define, develop, and evaluate. Primary data collected from media experts, lecturers, and students were analyzed using descriptive analysis to assess the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the media. The findings reveal that, The E-Module is highly valid in terms of material (0.94) and media aspects (0.94). Its practicality is rated as practical by teachers (88.33%) and very practical by students (93.55%). The E-Module effectively improves student learning outcomes, with an increase in the number of students meeting the KKM standard to 88.33%. In conclusion, the E-Module is valid, practical, and effective as a learning medium for enhancing students’ interest, motivation, understanding, and competence.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran berupa E-Modul Berbasis Android pada Mata Pelajaran Informatika di SMK Negeri 9 Padang. Media ini dirancang untuk dapat meningkatkan minat, motivasi dan hasil siswa sehingga siswa dapat memahami secara keseluruhan materi yang disediakan dalam mata pelajaran Informatika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan IDI (Instruksional Development Institute), adapun prosedur pengembangan IDI yaitu: define, develop, dan evaluate. Jenis data yaitu data primer dimana data yang diberikan oleh ahli media, dosen dan siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif yaitu dengan mendeskripsikan kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan menggunakan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini sebagai berikut; (1) Validitas E-Modul dinyatakan sangat valid pada aspek materi dengan total nilai validitas adalah 0.94, sedangkan pada aspek media valid dengan total nilai 0.94 (2) Praktikalitas Media Pembelajaran Interaktif berdasarkan respon guru setelah melalui uji coba dinyatakan praktis dengan total nilai 88.33%, sedangkan pada praktikalitas Media Pembelajaran Interaktif berdasarkan respon siswa setelah melalui uji coba dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan total nilai 93.55% (3) Efektifitas E-Modul efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dengan setelah menggunakan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif. Dengan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa ditandai dengan meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang lulus KKM sebanyak 30 orang 88.33%. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa E-Modul ini valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata mata pelajaran Informatika SMK Negeri 9 Padang, yang dapat meningkatkan minat, motivasi dan pemahaman siswa sehingga bisa membawa dampak meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa serta dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa.
 
Vector of Malaria Receptivity Mapping at Melolo Health Center, Umalulu District, East Sumba Regency
Malaria is a life-threatening global infectious disease, which is spread through the bite of an infected female Anopheles mosquito. Plasmodium as the cause of malaria consists of six species, namely P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. malariae, P. ovale curtisi, P. ovale wallikeri, and P. Knowlesi. Indonesia is one of the malaria-endemic countries, with most of the districts/cities with high endemic status located in Papua and West Papua. East Nusa Tenggara Province still has three districts with high endemic status, namely East Sumba, West Sumba, and Southwest Sumba. In 2022, the number of laboratory-confirmed malaria cases in Indonesia reached 3,358,447 cases, an increase of 3.1% compared to 2021, which recorded 2,040,229 cases. This study aims to determine the pattern of malaria vector receptivity mapping in the Melolo Health Center Working Area, Umalulu District, East Sumba Regency. The type of research used is a descriptive approach. The results of the study showed that the level of malaria vector receptivity in the area was relatively high. The most common habitat found was swamps, with the most malaria sufferers being women aged between 6 and 50 years. The distribution pattern of malaria sufferers showed a cluster form, and the Malaria Habitat Index (IHM) value of 43.48% indicated the potential for significant spread of malaria
Noise Mapping with Surfer Software as Noise Depiction in Water Treatment Plant PT. Z
PT Z operates in the production of clean water, which has the potential to generate noise due to machinery used in the processing process or clean water dosing system. Noise that occurs in the production area can affect the health and comfort of operators and visitors who are in the location. This study aims to identify noise levels, recommended exposure duration, areas exposed to noise, as well as analyze the causes of noise and provide proposals for its control. The noise measurement method used refers to the noise mapping method and uses a sound level meter. The data obtained was then processed into contour maps with purple, green, yellow, orange, and red color variations using Surfer 16 software. The results showed that the highest noise level reached 86.5 dB, while the lowest was 56.7 dB. Based on calculations using the NIOSH formula from 40 measurement points in the noise mapping method, there are 7 points that require increased noise control. The highest noise level was recorded at 86.5 dB with an exposure duration of 5.65 hours (393 minutes). Noise control efforts can involve three elements, noise sources, noise dispersal paths, and noise receivers, which are matched with the control hierarchy referenced from the Permenaker No. 5/2018
Effective Solutions for Implementing Android-Based Computer-Based Testing (CBT) In Vocational High Schools as A Digital Assessment Innovation
The rapid development of information technology currently demands a transformation in the education assessment system, especially in Vocational High Schools (SMK). One of the challenges faced is the limited facilities and infrastructure such as computer laboratories that are not comparable to the number of students, so that the implementation of computer-based test (CBT) is less than optimal. The aim is to develop an Android-based CBT assessment system that is integrated with the Case Method in the Business Economics subject in SMK. This innovation is designed so that students can take exams anytime and anywhere, without being constrained by limited computer devices or internship schedules. The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development method with the Waterfall Development Model approach to build the system. The developed system was validated by material and media experts, followed by small-scale and large-scale trials on class XI students of SMK Negeri 14 Medan. This Android-based CBT system is effective and feasible to use. In terms of usability, this system received a positive response from students, with high scores on indicators of ease of use, speed of access, and time efficiency. The integration of Case Method- based questions has also been shown to improve students' understanding in solving real problems in the field of Business Economics. The CBT system based on Android integrated with Case Method is able to be an effective solution to overcome the limitations of facilities and infrastructure in vocational schools. The implications provide significant contributions in supporting the digitalization of education and improving the quality of learning evaluation in schools

Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Masyarakat Desa Santong dalam Membuat Pupuk Organik Cair dari Limbah Organik Pasar Tradisional
Organic waste, a byproduct of human activities, is capable of decomposing naturally. In Santong Village, the majority of organic waste originates from households, agricultural activities, and leftover food from markets. With agriculture being the primary livelihood for most residents, the accumulation of organic market waste presents an opportunity for local farmer groups to repurpose it for their own needs. This article outlines the training and assistance process for producing liquid organic fertilizer from traditional market waste and discusses its environmental, health, and economic impacts on the Santong Village community. The training and mentoring session took place at the Santong Village Office Hall on January 8, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 WITA. Twenty participants, including village officials, farmer groups, BUMDes representatives, the Agriculture Service, and the Santong Village Student Association, collaborated to ensure the program's sustainability. A participatory approach was employed, incorporating three primary methods: lectures, hands-on practice, and discussions. These methods facilitated better understanding among the farmer groups, enabling them to effectively grasp the materials delivered by the trainers
Membangun Karakter Peduli Lingkungan di Sekolah Dasar Melalui Program SERALIKOCI: Studi Kasus di SD Negeri Cimahi Mandiri 3
Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi program SERALIKOCI (Sekolah Ramah Lingkungan Kota Cimahi) sebagai sarana untuk menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar, dengan fokus pada SD Negeri Cimahi Mandiri 3. SERALIKOCI, mencakup berbagai kegiatan seperti diet plastik, pemilahan sampah, pendirian bank sampah berbasis sekolah, dan pembentukan tim guru lingkungan (Tiguling). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus, dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas, tantangan, dan dampak jangka panjang dari program tersebut. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan metode content analysis. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yang konsisten dan diawasi, seperti membawa tumbler dan misting, menjaga kebersihan, dan mengelola sampah melalui Bank Sampah Unit (BSU) sekolah, dapat meningkatkan kepedulian siswa terhadap lingkungan. Guru berperan penting dalam memberikan keteladanan dan pembiasaan program tersebut. Tantangan yang ditemukan yaitu belum adanya cara efektif untuk mengelola sampah organik dan kurangnya kolaborasi antara sekolah dan orang tua dalam pembiasaan pengelolaan sampah di rumah. Solusi yang diusulkan yaitu program peningkatan pelatihan orang tua siswa dan budidaya maggot untuk pengelolaan sampah organik. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa SERALIKOCI berpengaruh positif dalam membangun kepedulian lingkungan bagi siswa. Model pendidikan lingkungan terpadu ini dapat menginspirasi sekolah-sekolah lain untuk mengadopsi praktik-praktik berkelanjutan yang serupa
