The Development of an Ethnoscience-Based Science Module at Eucalyptus Oil Refining in Buru Regency to Reduce Student Misconceptions
This research is based on the limited learning resources that students can use independently. This research aims to develop an ethnoscience-based science module on the process of refining eucalyptus oil to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the module in reducing student misconceptions. The method used was research and development R&D. The research data obtained was analyzed using percentage descriptions. The results of the science module feasibility test showed that the feasibility of the material obtained a score of 88% with very feasible criteria. The feasibility of the media obtained a score of 89% with very feasible criteria. Furthermore, the feasibility of language obtained a score of 80% with appropriate criteria. The practicality of the module was tested through analysis of student responses to the module developed and a practicality score of 87% was obtained with very good criteria. This means that the ethnoscience-based science module developed has very good practicality in terms of a) attractiveness of the module, b) ease of use, c) ease of understanding the contents of the module, d) completeness of the contents of the module, and e) conformity with character values ethnoscience. According to the results of the analysis of learning outcomes tests accompanied by the Certainty of Response Index, it shows that the level of student misconceptions has decreased by 34% accompanied by an increase in the level of student understanding of concepts by 37%, and students who do not understand concepts have decreased by 3%. This shows that the module developed is effective in reducing student misconception
A Bibliometric Analysis of Problem-Solving Skill and STEM Integration in Education (Scopus Database 2004-2024)
Problem solving and STEM integration in education are important in many countries around the world. Problem solving and STEM integration in education can also be applied at various levels. This study aims to describe the development trends of research in the topic, as well as to identify the most relevant and widely cited countries, sources and topics in the related literature. Previous studies have shown that problem solving and STEM integration are mostly applied in secondary schools. In this study, we extracted from the Scopus database to analyze and evaluate the results of scientific publications related to problem solving and STEM integration in education during 2004-2024. The number of publication data that has been filtered is 106 publications, all of which are taken from the Scopus database. The results of the quantitative analysis show that research on problem solving and STEM integration in education has grown rapidly in the last 5 years. The most relevant and most cited country is the USA. Meanwhile, the most relevant source is CBE Life Sciences Education. The research topics are also quite diverse, focusing on several issues: engineering, education, humanism, professional aspect, etc. This research has limitations, because the publication data we analyzed was only data from Scopus and the analysis we used used VOSviewer and biblioshiny.Pemecahan masalah dan integrasi STEM dalam pendidikan merupakan hal yang penting di banyak negara di seluruh dunia. Pemecahan masalah dan integrasi STEM dalam pendidikan juga dapat diterapkan di berbagai tingkatan. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa pemecahan masalah dan integrasi STEM sebagian besar diterapkan di sekolah menengah. Pada penelitian ini, kami mengambil data dari database Scopus untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi hasil publikasi ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan pemecahan masalah dan integrasi STEM dalam pendidikan selama tahun 2004-2024. Jumlah data publikasi yang telah disaring sebanyak 106 publikasi yang semuanya diambil dari database Scopus. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa penelitian tentang pemecahan masalah dan integrasi STEM dalam pendidikan telah berkembang pesat dalam 5 tahun terakhir. Negara yang paling relevan dan paling banyak dikutip adalah Amerika Serikat. Sementara itu, sumber yang paling relevan adalah CBE Life Sciences Education. Topik penelitian juga cukup beragam, dengan fokus pada beberapa isu: teknik, pendidikan, humanisme, aspek profesional, dll. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan, karena data publikasi yang kami analisis hanya data dari Scopus dan analisis yang kami gunakan menggunakan VOSviewer dan biblioshiny.

Display of Free-range Chicken Semen After Supplementation of Phylanthus Niruri Herbal Extract and Kaffir Lime Leaf Extract (Citrus Hystrix D. C)
This study was conducted to examine the supplementation of green meniran herb extract (Phylanthus niruri L) and kaffir lime leaf extract (Cytrus hystrix D. C.) on the appearance of free-range chicken semen. The study was conducted using a completely random design of unidirectional patterns, using 24 male free-range chickens aged about one year with an average weight of 1.8 kg with eight treatments, three replicates each. Each replicate consisted of 1 chicken. Basal feed uses BR-1 chicken feed produced by PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. After 1 week of basal feeding, chicken sperm was taken and tested for control (H-0), then began to be treated with testosterone supplementation, as a positive control, meniran extract, kaffir lime leaf extract, or a mixture thereof. The following semen collection is carried out after 1 week of treatment. Semen collection is carried out every 3 days with five intakes. This study concludes that the supplementation of green meniran herb extract and kaffir lime leaf extract or a combination thereof, macroscopic, does not change the appearance of free-range chicken semen, both volume, color, consistent odor, and pH of semen, but microscopic significantly increase sperm concentration, motility, and Viability. There was no synergy between green meniran herb extract and kaffir lime leaf extract on the appearance of chicken semen
Reduction of Cortisol Levels in the Stress State of Diabetic Ulcer Post Amputation Patients by Quran Murattal Therapy in the Surgical Treatment Room Faisal Islamic Hospital Makassar
Amputation due to diabetic ulcers is one of the serious complications of diabetes mellitus which can result in significant psychological impacts for amputee patients experiencing anxiety disorders and depression. In the context of diabetic ulcers, where amputation often occurs in an attempt to save lives, feelings of anxiety and depression can increase significantly. This study uses an Experimental Quasy design, where this study aims to find out the effect of Qur'an Reading Therapy (TBA) on cortisol levels and anxiety levels in the state of stress after amputation of diabetic ulcers at Faisal Islamic Hospital Makassar. The sample size in this study was 30 respondents (15 treatment groups and 15 control groups). Data collection was carried out by means of a pre-post test with control group, In this study used the Wilcoxon Test paired t-test at the level of significance α = 0.05. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an effect of TBA on cortisol levels and anxiety response in postoperative patients (p=0.000). The conclusion in this study is the effect of Qur'an Reading Therapy (TBA) on cortisol levels and anxiety levels in the state of post-amputation of diabetic ulcers. Suggestion So that nurses can consider this therapy as one of the additional methods in managing diabetic amputee patient
Tren Terbaru Nanofiber Polikaprolakton Elektrospun: Perspektif Bibliometrik Lima Tahun dari 2019 hingga 2023
Nanofiber materials have emerged as a focal point of advanced research due to their exceptional properties. Polycaprolactone, a biodegradable and biocompatible polyester, has garnered particular interest for applications spanning tissue engineering, drug delivery, wound healing, and filtration. The electrospinning process facilitates precise control over PCL nanofiber morphology and functionality, enhancing its application potential. This investigation employs bibliometric analysis to elucidate global research trends in electrospun PCL nanofibers from 2019 to 2023. Utilizing the Scopus database, 255 relevant publications were identified through rigorous inclusion criteria, focusing on works that address PCL nanofibers, are published in English, and meet peer-reviewed standards. Quantitative tools, including VOSviewer and Harzing’s Publish or Perish, were utilized to analyze research trajectories, citation dynamics, and collaborative networks. Results underscore a predominant focus on biomedical applications, particularly drug delivery and tissue engineering. Geographically, research contributions are led by the Netherlands (28.63%), the United States (25.10%), and the United Kingdom (24.31%). The International Journal of Biological Macromolecules emerged as the most influential journal, contributing 22 articles (10%) and receiving 1,424 citations. Despite significant advancements, critical gaps remain, notably in scaling production processes and diversifying applications beyond the biomedical domain.Kemajuan dalam material nanofiber telah menarik perhatian signifikan karena sifat-sifatnya yang luar biasa, termasuk rasio luas permukaan terhadap volume yang tinggi, porositas yang dapat disesuaikan, dan potensi fungsionalisasi yang serbaguna. Di antara berbagai material polimer, polikaprolakton (PCL) menonjol sebagai poliester yang dapat terurai secara hayati dan biokompatibel dengan kekokohan mekanis yang luar biasa, sehingga ideal untuk aplikasi dalam rekayasa jaringan, pengiriman obat, penyembuhan luka, dan teknologi filtrasi. Elektrospinning telah muncul sebagai metode terdepan untuk memproduksi nanofiber PCL, yang memungkinkan kontrol yang tepat terhadap morfologi dan sifat serat. Meskipun telah diadopsi secara luas, tantangan tetap ada dalam meningkatkan proses elektrospinning, meningkatkan fungsionalitas nanofiber, dan mengatasi masalah lingkungan yang terkait dengan polimer sintetis. Studi ini menggunakan analisis bibliometrik untuk mengeksplorasi tren penelitian global dalam nanofiber PCL elektrospun dari tahun 2019 hingga 2023. Implementation of Science and Technology in Volleyball Plyometric Training for High School Students: A Literature Study
This study critically examines the integration of technology and performance enhancement in plyometric training, particularly in high school volleyball players in Indonesia. The research investigates how technology and scientific advances can be incorporated into the plyometric training methodology to elevate volleyball skills and diminish the risk of injury among young Indonesian athletes. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through literature studies from various sources. Primary data sources from several research results are supplemented with some relevant secondary data. The results and conclusions of this study provide valuable insights into how cultural attitudes towards sports science and technology in Indonesia can shape the adoption and effectiveness of advanced plyometric training methods among high school volleyball players. Furthermore, the study evaluates the knowledge and practice of volleyball coaches in Indonesia related to plyometric training and identifies potential gaps in volleyball education and training, with the potential to significantly impact the field of sports science and volleyball training
Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the Planning, Implementation, and Assessment of Pancasila Education Learning in Senior High Schools
This study examines the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the planning, execution, and assessment of Pancasila Education learning in Senior High Schools throughout Bulungan Regency, identifying key challenges and solutions. The research employs a mixed-methods approach (Concurrent Embedded Design), where qualitative data serves as the primary method, and quantitative data is embedded to support findings. Data were collected from principals and Pancasila Education teachers using interviews and questionnaires, analyzed through both qualitative and quantitative techniques. Results indicate that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum falls into the "fairly good" category, with an overall achievement of 60%. The highest performance was observed in learning planning, whereas assessment had the lowest scores. Key obstacles include difficulties in designing reflective learning, ensuring independent learning tasks align with student workload, and integrating diverse assessment methods. Limited engagement with external experts and lack of consistent feedback also pose challenges. To address these issues, teachers leverage resources such as the Merdeka Mengajar Platform and participate in professional training programs. These findings highlight the need for enhanced teacher training and structured assessment strategies to optimize the effectiveness of Pancasila Education learning under the Independent Curriculum
Advantages and Disadvantages of Virtual Reality in Science Learning Systems in the 21st Century: A Review
The rapid development of information technology has brought human civilization into the 21st century, which requires mastery of 21st-century skills, such as critical, creative, collaborative, and communicative thinking. Virtual reality offers an immersive and interactive learning experience, allowing students to interact with virtual environments as if they were real, thus potentially increasing conceptual understanding and learning motivation. Virtual reality has advantages and disadvantages in science learning. Where the purpose of the study is to examine the advantages and disadvantages of virtual reality in science learning systems in the 21st century: a Review, namely collecting information from previous studies related to the Advantages and Disadvantages of Virtual Reality in Science Learning Systems in the 21st Century This review was conducted based on the review method. The results of this study explain that there are several advantages and disadvantages of using a science learning system that uses virtual reality, one of the results that explains the advantages of virtual reality is Immersive Learning so that students can see learning concepts more realistically and not only focus on books or material explanations; teachers and one of the disadvantages of virtual reality in science learning is that VR systems can be expensive to develop and maintain, making them less accessible to organizations, educational institutions with limited budgets
Designing a Web-Based Internship Information System for Vocational High Schools
This research aims to develop a web-based information system to overcome administrative inefficiencies in managing the Field Work Practice (PKL) program at Vocational High Schools (SMK). Using the prototype development method, the research followed three stages: collecting user requirements, developing and refining a mock-up, and evaluating system performance through Black Box Testing, specifically assessing system functionality, user interface, and user experience. The results show a reduction in time for administrative tasks such as student enrollment, schedule management, and industry collaboration. The system also achieved improved data accuracy through features such as real-time progress tracking and automated notifications. End-user feedback indicated high satisfaction with the system's usability and interface design. In addition, the system also supports government initiatives for technology integration in education by encouraging collaboration between schools, students and industry partners. Development of E-Learning Materials Assisted by Augmented Reality in the Science Subject of Water Cycle Material for Grade V Elementary Schools
This study aims to develop, test the feasibility, effectiveness, and practicality of Augmented Reality (AR)-assisted e-learning materials to improve student learning outcomes. This study is a development research (R&D) using the Borg and Gall model. This study involved 34 fifth-grade students of SDN Dampyak 02 in the 2024/2025 academic year, with a small-scale trial on 12 VA-class students and a large-scale trial on 22 VB-class students. The feasibility of e-learning materials is shown from the results of validation by material, language, and media experts which showed that AR-assisted e-learning materials were declared "feasible" with an average score of 78%. The practicality of e-teaching materials is shown from the results of the questionnaire responses of teachers and students to the use of e-teaching materials assisted by AR showing a "very positive" level of satisfaction with a score of 88% from teachers and 88% from students. The effectiveness of e-teaching materials assisted by AR is proven through the results of the t-test with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) and an N-gain of 0.6, which is included in the "moderate" category. The results of the study indicate that e-teaching materials assisted by AR meet the criteria of being feasible, practical, and effective in improving learning outcomes in science learning for grade V at SD Negeri Dampyak 02.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan e-bahan ajar berbantuan Augmented Reality (AR) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan model Borg and Gall. Penelitian ini melibatkan 34 peserta didik kelas V SDN Dampyak 02 tahun ajaran 2024/2025, dengan uji coba skala kecil pada 12 peserta didik kelas VA dan skala besar pada 22 peserta didik kelas VB. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes (pretest – posttest) dan non test berupa hasil dari wawancara, angket, observasi, daftar nilai, dan juga dokumentasi. Kelayakan e-bahan ajar ditunjukkan dari hasil validasi ahli materi, bahasa, dan media yang menunjukkan bahwa e-bahan ajar berbantuan AR dinyatakan "layak" dengan skor rata-rata 78%. Kepraktisan e-bahan ajar ditunjukkan dari hasil angket respons guru dan peserta didik terhadap penggunaan e-bahan ajar berbantuan AR menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang “sangat positif” dengan skor 88% dari guru dan 88% dari peserta didik. Keefektifan e-bahan ajar berbantuan AR dibuktikan melalui hasil uji-t dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05) dan N-gain sebesar 0,6, yang tergolong kategori “sedang”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-bahan ajar berbantuan AR memenuhi kriteria layak, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas V di SD Negeri Dampyak 02
