    Utilization of Agricultural Technology as Contextual Media in Science Learning on Sustainability and Agricultural Economics

    The agricultural sector faces challenges related to efficiency and sustainability, which can be explored in science learning to improve students' understanding of sustainability and economic concepts. Digitalization and modern agricultural technology offer a relevant context for science learning. This study examines the development of technology and digitalization in the agricultural sector, analyzes its potential as a contextual medium in science learning, and identifies challenges and opportunities for its implementation in education. The research method used is a systematic literature review by collecting data from various academic sources. The results of the study indicate that technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), automatic irrigation systems, and mobile-based applications can be used to teach science concepts such as ecosystems, energy, and environmental change in the context of agriculture. However, pedagogical strategies are needed to integrate these technologies effectively into the science curriculum.     Enhancing Email Security Against Phishing Attacks through User Behavior Analysis and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

    This study was conducted and aimed to improve email security against phishing attacks through user behavior analysis and data loss prevention (DLP). Phishing attacks pose a significant threat to the protection of user information and privacy, especially for individuals who are less aware of phishing emails. Their vulnerability to such attacks not only compromises their own security but also poses a great risk to the company. This can result in huge financial losses. Thus, there is an urgent need to improve security measures for users and systems. This study will use the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0. This framework provides a structured approach to identifying and analyzing user behavior. Then an assessment of the phishing simulation is carried out to pay attention to users who are vulnerable to phishing attacks. After assessing the phishing email, the DLP configuration is determined for preventive measures. The following are the core functions of CSF as a framework that will be used: Based on the phishing simulation conducted, the pattern is almost the same, displaying the sender's email domain that is very similar to the original. Employees are usually easily trapped if they do not read the domain carefully and immediately follow the instructions in the email body. Phishing emails typically have a business context and are assumed to be sent by a trusted person, such as a supervisor, a colleague from the same department, or a different department. User behavior analysis is key to identifying vulnerabilities to phishing attacks. Understanding how users interact with emails can help develop effective mitigation strategies. Implementing DLP as a layer of defense can proactively detect and prevent phishing emails from reaching users’ inboxes. Proper DLP configuration is critical to a successful implementation. User education and training are critical components to raising awareness of phishing threats.     Spatial Analysis of the Economic Valuation of Mangrove Carbon Stocks in Banda Aceh City

    Climate change or global warming is caused by an increase in Earth's surface temperature due to the greenhouse effect, with carbon dioxide (CO₂) as the primary contributor. Rising CO₂ levels trigger atmospheric warming, sea level rise, agricultural disruptions, and more intense storms. Carbon absorption from the atmosphere can be achieved through mangrove forests, which serve as natural carbon sinks. However, mangrove deforestation leads to carbon release. This study aims to measure carbon stock and the economic value of mangroves along the coast of Banda Aceh City using NDVI analysis. The results indicate that the lowest carbon value is 2.49505 × 10⁻⁶ tons per hectare, demonstrating very limited carbon storage capacity in certain areas. The total economic value of carbon stocks in four mangrove areas is Rp 2,400,026,446. This study is expected to provide insights into global warming, support the role of mangroves as carbon sinks, and serve as a foundation for further research on climate change

    Protective Potential of Kersen Leaf Ethanol Extract (Muntingia calabura L.) Against Hepatic Histopathology in Diabetes Mellitus Model Rats

    Kersen leaves (Muntingia calabura L.) are known as herbal plants used to lower blood glucose levels. This study evaluated the protective effect of ethanol extract of kersen leaves on the histopathology of the liver of white rats (Rattus norvegicus) model of diabetes mellitus. The experimental study with a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) involved five treatment groups and three replicates, using 55 streptozotocin (STZ)-induced mice. The results showed that the administration of 15% (K5) of kersen leaf ethanol extract improved the structure of hepatocytes, resembling normal tissue, compared to the positive control group (K2) who experienced severe necrosis and degeneration. In conclusion, 15% kersen leaf ethanol extract is effective in improving liver damage due to diabetes and potentially lowering blood glucose levels.Daun kersen (Muntingia calabura L.) dikenal sebagai tanaman herbal yang digunakan untuk menurunkan kadar glukosa darah. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efek protektif ekstrak etanol daun kersen terhadap histopatologi hepar tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) model diabetes mellitus. Penelitian eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) melibatkan lima kelompok perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, menggunakan 55 ekor tikus yang diinduksi streptozotocin (STZ). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak etanol daun kersen dosis 15% (K5) memperbaiki struktur hepatosit, menyerupai jaringan normal, dibandingkan kelompok kontrol positif (K2) yang mengalami nekrosis dan degenerasi berat. Simpulan, ekstrak etanol daun kersen 15% efektif memperbaiki kerusakan hepar akibat diabetes dan berpotensi menurunkan kadar glukosa darah

    Karakteristik Atenuasi Seismik di Pulau Sumba Berdasarkan Analisis Gelombang Coda

    Coda wave data from four stations are to understand seismic attenuation on Sumba Island. Specifically, we estimate the quality factor at 1 Hz (Q₀) and its frequency dependence (η) across multiple window lengths (20–120 s) and frequency bands (1–7 Hz) using waveform data from 394 local earthquakes. The aim is to evaluate how these parameters reflect crustal heterogeneity and tectonic activity. Results show that Q₀ increases with window length, indicating that coda waves progressively sample deeper and more homogeneous layers, while high η values at shorter windows suggest significant near-surface heterogeneity. These findings highlight a depth-dependent variation in seismic attenuation and structural complexity. The study reveals spatial variability, with MELO station showing anomalously high Q₀ values, likely due to localized site conditions or deeper structural influences. Sumba’s location within the tectonically active Sunda-Banda arc transition zone further supports these observations. The combination of low Q₀ and high η values confirms high tectonic activity, and the use of coda wave attenuation analysis offers a reliable, parameter-based framework for assessing seismic hazard potential in regions with complex geodynamics. This work fills a research gap by providing empirical data and interpretation for a previously underexplored area in eastern Indonesia

    Hubungan antara Kreativitas Guru dalam Mengajar dan Keaktifan Siswa dengan Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa Kelas IV SD

    Teacher creativity in teaching and student activeness affect student IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the relationship between teacher creativity in teaching and student activeness with IPAS learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Gugus Wijaya Kusuma Ngaliyan District Semarang City. With a quantitative approach and the type of correlation research used, the research sample was obtained using Proportional Random Sampling technique namely 112 students. The research data were collected using a closed questionnaire for the variables of teacher creativity in teaching and student activeness, as well as documentation of student report cards for the variable of IPAS learning outcomes. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis tests consisting of simple correlation, multiple correlation, F test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that teacher creativity in teaching and student activeness with IPAS learning outcomes had a significant relationship with rcount of 0.665, Fcount of 43.125, and the contribution was 44.20%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between teacher creativity in teaching and student activeness with IPAS learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Gugus Wijaya Kusuma Ngaliyan District Semarang City.Kreativitas guru dalam mengajar dan keaktifan siswa yang beragam berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa yang beragam pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan kreativitas guru dalam mengajar dan keaktifan siswa dengan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus Wijaya Kusuma Kecamatan Ngaliyan Kota Semarang. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian korelasi, sampel penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik Proportional Random Sampling yang menghasilkan 112 siswa. Data dihimpun melalui angket dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif, uji prasyarat, dan uji hipotesis yang terdiri dari korelasi sederhana, korelasi ganda, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kreativitas guru dalam mengajar dengan hasil belajar IPAS memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan sebesar 0,615 dan kontribusi 37,8%. (2) keaktifan siswa dengan hasil belajar IPAS memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan sebesar 0,617 dan kontribusi 38,1%. (3) kreativitas guru dalam mengajar dan keaktifan siswa dengan hasil belajar IPAS memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan sebesar 0,665 dan kontribusi 44,2%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kreativitas guru dalam mengajar dan keaktifan siswa dengan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus Wijaya Kusuma Kecamatan Ngaliyan Kota Semarang memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan

    This study examines the impact of transportation infrastructure on energy consumption and its effect on economic growth in Aceh Province using an infrastructure science approach. Using panel data from 2010 to 2022, the study analyzes the influence of electricity customers per capita, provincial road length in good condition, total road length, real gross fixed capital formation per capita, average years of schooling, government consumption share to real GRDP, and the agricultural sector’s GRDP share. The findings reveal that electricity customers per capita, total road length per capita, and average years of schooling have a positive and significant impact on economic growth. In contrast, provincial road length in good condition has a negative and insignificant effect, while real gross fixed capital formation per capita shows a positive but insignificant impact. Meanwhile, government consumption share and the agricultural sector’s contribution to GRDP negatively and significantly affect economic growth.Studi ini mengkaji dampak infrastruktur transportasi terhadap konsumsi energi dan pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Aceh dengan menggunakan pendekatan sains infrastruktur. Dengan menggunakan data panel dari tahun 2010 hingga 2022, studi ini menganalisis pengaruh pelanggan listrik per kapita, panjang jalan provinsi dalam kondisi baik, total panjang jalan, pembentukan modal tetap bruto riil per kapita, rata-rata lama sekolah, pangsa konsumsi pemerintah terhadap PDRB riil, dan pangsa PDRB sektor pertanian. Temuan-temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pelanggan listrik per kapita, total panjang jalan per kapita, dan rata-rata lama sekolah berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Sebaliknya, panjang jalan provinsi dalam kondisi baik memiliki dampak negatif dan tidak signifikan, sementara pembentukan modal tetap bruto riil per kapita menunjukkan dampak positif namun tidak signifikan. Sementara itu, pangsa konsumsi pemerintah dan kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap PDRB berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi

    Biodiversity in Indonesia is a science material that is closely related to environmental conditions, daily life events, and natural characteristics in Indonesia. Ethno-STEAM content is a local wisdom-based learning approach that connects theory and skills in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Mastery of material for junior high school students is expected to be able to apply their knowledge to the environment through STEAM, be able to solve problems, become logical thinkers, and be able to link culture and local wisdom with learning. This study aims to describe the validity of teaching modules in science learning to empower students' creative thinking skills at the junior high school level. The development of PjBL-based science teaching modules with Ethno-STEAM content uses the 4D model development research approach. The validity in this study includes the validity of the material with an acquisition of 0.98, media experts of 0.95, learning experts of 0.90 and language of 0.95, the four validations have been validated by 7 expert and practical validators and are included in the very valid category. The validity of the Ethno-STEAM-loaded test instrument using a written test and analyzed using Aiken's validity which has been adjusted to the creative thinking indicators obtained an average validity test of 0.94. It is concluded that the science teaching module is suitable for use as a PjBL-based learning media and ethno-STEAM content to empower students' creative thinking skillsPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan validitas modul ajar pada pembelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Pengembangan modul ajar IPA berbasis PjBL bermuatan Etno-STEAM ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk analisis data. Validitas media dalam penelitian ini meliputi validitas media, validitas materi, validitas ahli pembelajaran dan validasi bahasa yang telah divalidasi oleh validator ahli dan praktisi sesuai bidangnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata uji validitas materi sebesar 0,98, media sebesar 0,95, ahli pembelajaran sebesar 0,90 dan bahasa sebesar 0,95, keempat validasi tersebut dapat dinyatakan masuk dalam kategori valid. Validitas instrument tes bermuatan Etno-STEAM terdiri dari pre-test dan post-test yang sudah disesuaikan dengan indikator berpikir kreatif memperoleh rata-rata uji validitas sebesar 0,94. Disimpulkan bahwa modul ajar IPA layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis PjBL dan bermuatan etno-STEAM untuk memberdayakan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi ekologi dan keanekaragaman hayati di Indonesi

    Optimalisasi Kolaborasi Ketamin-Propofol untuk Mencegah Penurunan SpO₂ pada Pasien TIVA di RSU Emanuel Banjarnegara

    Introduction: Total Intravenous Anesthesia (TIVA) is a widely used anesthetic technique that relies entirely on intravenous agents. However, one of its challenges is the potential reduction in oxygen saturation (SpO₂) during induction. Ketamine and propofol are commonly used anesthetic agents and their combination is hypothesized to optimize hemodynamic stability and prevent SpO₂ decline. Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of ketamine-propofol collaboration in maintaining oxygen saturation during TIVA induction at RSU Emanuel Banjarnegara. Methods: This study was a quasi-experimental study with 50 TIVA patients who met the inclusion criteria. Result: The study found that patients receiving the ketamine-propofol combination exhibited a more stable SpO₂ level compared to those receiving propofol alone. The mean decrease in SpO₂ was significantly lower in the combination group (p < 0.05), indicating the protective effect of ketamine in preventing hypoxia. The combo group also maintained hemodynamic indicators including blood pressure and heart rate better. Conclusion: The simultaneous injection of Ketamine and Propofol is beneficial in preventing a drop in SpO₂ 1 minute after induction of anesthesia compared to the combination of Propofol alone.Pengantar: Total Intravena Anestesi (TIVA) adalah teknik anestesi yang banyak digunakan yang sepenuhnya bergantung pada agen intravena. Namun, salah satu tantangannya adalah potensi penurunan saturasi oksigen (SpO₂) selama induksi. Ketamin dan propofol adalah agen anestesi yang umum digunakan dan kombinasinya dihipotesiskan untuk mengoptimalkan stabilitas hemodinamik dan mencegah penurunan SpO₂. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas kolaborasi ketamin-propofol dalam mempertahankan saturasi oksigen selama induksi TIVA di RSU Emanuel Banjarnegara. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu dengan 50 pasien TIVA yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil: Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pasien yang menerima kombinasi ketamin-propofol menunjukkan tingkat SpO₂ yang lebih stabil dibandingkan dengan pasien yang menerima propofol saja. Penurunan rata-rata SpO₂ secara signifikan lebih rendah pada kelompok kombinasi (p <0,05), yang menunjukkan efek perlindungan ketamin dalam mencegah hipoksia. Kelompok kombinasi juga mempertahankan indikator hemodinamik termasuk tekanan darah dan denyut jantung dengan lebih baik. Kesimpulan: Injeksi simultan Ketamin dan Propofol bermanfaat dalam mencegah penurunan SpO₂ 1 menit setelah induksi anestesi dibandingkan dengan kombinasi Propofol saja

    The Effect of Steaming Time on the Chemical and Organoleptic Characteristics of Kepok Banana Tape (Musa paradisiaca Linn)

    Steaming is a very important factor in the processing of food ingredients, especially kepok bananas before being fermented into tape. This study was to determine the effect of steaming time on the quality of kepok banana tape seen from the chemical characteristics including pH value determined using a pH meter, sugar content with the phenol sulfate method, alcohol content with the acid-base titration method, and organoleptic testing by 15 panelists. The bananas used were half-ripe kepok bananas from Dolo District, Sigi Regency, with variations in steaming time of 25, 30 and 35 minutes. The results showed that kepok banana tape with a steaming time of 25 minutes had a pH of 4.88; sugar content 12.62%; alcohol content 1.47%; color preference 3.4; aroma 2.8; texture 3.6 and taste 2.8. Tape with a steaming time of 30 minutes had a pH of 4.85; sugar content 16.37%; alcohol content 1.52%; color preference 3.5; aroma 2.6; texture 3.2; and taste 3.1. And tape with a steaming time of 35 minutes has a pH of 4.85; sugar content 10.57%; alcohol content 1.61%; color preference 3.4; aroma 3; texture 3.4; and taste 3.4. Based on the results of chemical and organoleptic characteristic tests, the best quality of banana kepok tape is tape with a steaming time of 35 minutes. This study provides educational relevance by illustrating the application of chemistry concepts such as acid-base reactions, fermentation, and analytical techniques in real-world food processing, making it a potential contextual learning material in science education
