    No full text
The rapid advancement of technology has significantly transformed various sectors, including education, leading to the emergence of e-learning. This approach utilizes electronic media to facilitate faster and more efficient absorption of learning materials by students. One form of e-learning is the Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) model, which integrates information technology components such as communication tools, audio, video, and images into a cohesive multimedia platform. The implementation of CAI in e-learning enables flexible learning delivery by allowing educators to present instructional content and engage learners interactively, whether in one-on-one sessions or in small groups. This model enhances the learning experience by incorporating tutorials and multimedia presentations. Physics, as a branch of natural science, plays a critical role in shaping human reasoning and intellectual development. It investigates the fundamental elements of the universe, the forces acting upon them, and the resulting interactions, ranging from subatomic particles to cosmic phenomena. Natural Science itself is more than just the accumulation of knowledge in the form of facts or theories—it also involves systematic inquiry and discovery processes. Applying the CAI model in high school physics education, particularly in the topic of straight-motion kinematics, is expected to improve students’ comprehension and conceptual understanding. Based on evaluations from media and subject matter experts, as well as product testing, the instructional media developed has been rated highly feasible, receiving an 86% approval score from users

    No full text
In line with the problems faced by all landfills in Indonesia, the high level of waste entering landfills is not commensurate with the cost and quality of waste management which is still low. The volume of landfill leachate with levels of organic, inorganic and metal content at the Jatibarang landfill has the potential to pollute the Kreo river. The dangerous impact on health and ecosystem continuity if the total ammonia and nitrogen content is too high in Jatibarang landfill leachate, efforts to manage it with a phytoremediation agent are Equisetum hymale. This research method is an experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD) designed with the type of Equisetum hymale and 3 treatment of Equisetum hymale biomass, namely, P0: 0 g, P1: 750 g, and P2: 1000 g of Equisetum hymale per 10 liters of leachate, each treatment was repeated 3 times. This phytoremediation is very effective in reducing ammonia levels, the reduction in ammonia levels reached 99.7% and the highest total nitrogen content reached 91.7%. It was concluded that the Equisetum hymale was effective in reducing ammonia levels. The effectiveness of reducing ammonia levels and nitrogen levels was most optimal on the third day of P2. The Equisetum hymale removed ammonia and total nitrogen up to 70% in variation of contact time

Malocclusion is an inappropriate relationship of opposing teeth when the jaws are in contact. This malocclusion condition can cause oral cavity problems, one of which is traumatic ulcers. Traumatic ulcers are one of the most common lesions on the oral mucosa, where there is a loss of the epithelial layer beyond the basement membrane and affects the lamina propria which is generally caused by trauma. Traumatic ulcers can occur on the oral mucosa, including: on the tongue, lips, buccal mucosa folds, gingiva, palate, labial mucosa, buccal mucosa and floor of the mouth. The clinical picture of traumatic ulcers is not specific depending on the etiology, has a smooth surface, a yellowish lesion base and red margins and no induration. Ulcers usually heal without leaving a trace in 10-14 days, spontaneously or after eliminating the cause. Traumatic ulcers can occur at any age, both in men and women. The prevalence of traumatic ulcers is quite high. Several studies show variations in the range of 3 - 24% of the population. Management of traumatic ulcers is in the form of correcting predisposing factors. Local symptomatic treatment is the standard treatment for simple traumatic ulcers. Therapy in this case is to provide Oral Hygiene Instructions on the importance of maintaining dental and oral health. In addition, the patient was prescribed topical hyaluronic acid (Aloclair gel 8 ml) to reduce pain, povidone iodine antiseptic mouthwash and vitamin B12 to accelerate healing and the patient was asked to check 1 week after treatment. Summary of the results of traumatic ulcer therapy due to class I malocclusion with topical hyaluronic acid Aloclair gel 8 ml, antiseptic povidone iodine mouthwash, and vitamin B12 showed significant improvement in symptoms. Aloclair gel helps reduce pain and accelerate healing, while antiseptic mouthwash helps prevent infection. Vitamin B12 plays a role in accelerating the wound healing process
