    Development of a Physics Integrated STEM Meguru Model Oriented by Local Wisdom for Students' Creative Thinking Skills

    One of the existing learning approaches is challenge-based learning (CBL) which modified to Meguru, that encourages students to think critically and creatively in solving real problems. The STEM integrated CBL physics learning model based on local wisdom is present as an alternative to overcome these challenges. The main aim of this research is to develop a STEM-integrated physics challenge based learning model oriented to local wisdom towards quality students' creative thinking skills with valid, practical and effective criteria. This research is the Borg and Gall development model that was carried out through expert validation via FGD to obtain suggestions and input in order to revise the model, so that the valid Meguru model was obtained. The experts provide recommendations that the Meguru learning model was suitable for use with improvements (LDP). Validation of learning tools, obtained model implementation sheet with a score of 1.00 (very valid), teaching module with a score of 3.78 (very valid), student activity sheet (LKPD) with a score of 3.94 (very valid), student activity observation sheet with a score of 1 .00 (very valid), and the student response questionnaire was 98.66 (very valid). In the testing phase of the model's effectiveness, students' creative thinking skills were obtained with an average score of 97.50. The score obtained in the very good category shows that the learner's goals were achieved. where the Meguru learning model is effectively used in Physics learning.  The type of research is development research or Research and Development (R&D

    The Efficacy of Statin on Coronary Artery Calcification based on Agatston Score: An Updated Meta-analysis of Randomized Control Trials

    The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy of statin treatment on coronary artery calcifcation (CAC) in patients with asymptomatic coronary artery disease (CAD). For randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that assess the efficacy of statin treatment on CAC in patients with asymptomatic CAD, we searched in PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Cochrane. The included publications were subjected to meta-analyses using Review Manager v5.4. In comparison to control, patients with statistically significant had a lower Agatston score (MD -46.25; 95% CI -56.37 - -36.12; p < 0.00001) and had lower CAC volume (MD -24.36; 95% CI -38.21 - -10.51; p = 0.0006). Statin treatment was also linked to a decreased risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) events (OR 0.60, 95% CI 0.43-0.83; p = 0.002). According to our meta-analysis, the statin treatment was significant to lowering the Agatston score and CAC volume in patients with aysmptomatic CAD.     Analysis of Science Literacy Using Test of Scientific Literacy Skills (TOSLS) in Science Teacher Candidate Students

    This study aims to analyze the ability of science literacy in science teacher candidates using the Test of Scientific Literacy Skills (TOSLS). This study uses descriptive quantitative research design. Sampling using random sampling technique on Science Study Program students with the number of students sampled as many as 60 people. The instrument used is a test tool for scientific literacy skills developed by the author with reference to the indicators contained in the development of the TOSLS test as many as 39 questions. The results showed that the indicator of understanding the investigation that leads to scientific knowledge was in the simply category with the interpretation of the average score obtained of 62.69, and the indicator of organizing, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative data and scientific information was in the simply category with the interpretation of the average score of 60.89. Meanwhile, when viewed based on the distribution of the number of respondents, 3% were found in the very good category, 34% in the good category, 43% in the sufficient category, 17% in the insufficient category, and 3% in the very insufficient category.     Paokmotong Village has great potential as a trading center in the Province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). However, strengthening the village's image as a trading center still faces various challenges, including in the aspects of branding and framing. This research aims to analyze the role of branding and framing strategies in building a positive image of Paokmotong Village as a trade center. With a qualitative approach, this activity examines how the application of branding and framing elements can enhance the village's competitiveness in the trade sector. The research results show that branding strategies through visual identity and digital marketing have proven effective after the installation of market maps, content creation socialization, and digital marketing training in enhancing the village's image as a trade center in NTB Province. Meanwhile, the framing strategy through positive news coverage, historical narratives, and publications supports the creation of a positive perception of Paokmotong Village among the community. With the right combination of branding and framing, Paokmotong Village can be further strengthened as a modern, competitive, and sustainable trade center.Desa Paokmotong memiliki potensi besar sebagai sentra perdagangan di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Namun, penguatan citra desa sebagai pusat perdagangan masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk dalam aspek branding dan framing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran strategi branding dan framing dalam membangun citra positif Desa Paokmotong sebagai sentra perdagangan. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, kegiatan ini mengkaji bagaimana penerapan elemen branding dan framing dapat meningkatkan daya saing desa di sektor perdagangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi branding melalui identitas visual, pemasaran digital terbukti efektif setelah dilakukan pemasangan denah pasar, sosialisasi pembuatan konten dan pelatihan digital marketing dalam meningkatkan citra desa sebagai sentra perdagangan di Provinsi NTB. Sementara itu, strategi framing melalui pemberitaan positif, narasi historis, dan publikasi mendukung terciptanya persepsi positif masyarakat terhadap Desa Paokmotong.     Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mendampingi dan membimbing mahasiswa PPG calon guru dalam praktek pembelajaran terbimbing pada PPL II Semester 2 Gelombang 1 tahun 2024 di SDN 18 Ampenan. Mahasiswa melaksanakan praktek pembelajaran terbimbing dalam format lesson study, diawali dengan menyusun rencana pembelajaran hingga melakukan refleksi dari pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Diskusi dan tanya jawab dilakukan sejak penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran hingga refleksi hasil pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan mahasiswa. Hasil observasi pembelajaran menunjukkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran berpusat pada peserta didik, perangkat pembelajaran yang disusun telah dilaksanakan dengan sangat baik, walaupun masih harus ditingkatkan dalam keterampilan mengelola kelas dan membimbing kelompok. Mahasiswa dapat melakukan refleksi dan rencana tindak lanjut atas pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa telah memiliki kesiapan untuk melaksanakan praktek pembelajaran mandiri dengan tetap mengedepankan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik

     Fokus utama guru dalam proses pembelajaran termasuk di sekolah dasar adalah meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Motivasi juga memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan siswa. Begitu juga hasil belajar dapat dijadikan sebagai tolak ukur keberhasilan siswa.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Fan-N-Pick berbantuan video pembelajaran terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Blembem 1 tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimen semu (quasi experimental design) menggunakan model penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket motivasi dan tes hasil belajar kognitif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat (uji normalitas dan homogenitas) dan uji hipotesis (uji independent t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Fan-N-Pick berbantuan video berpengaruh terhadap motivasi siswa dengan hasil independent t test diperoleh nilai Asymp sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Model pembelajaran Fan-N-Pick berbantuan video juga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa dengan hasil independent t test diperoleh nilai Asymp sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05

    The aim of this study is identifying how to solve students' misconceptions on the topic of (H2S) problem by conducting boiling point elevation experiments. This research was conducted into two steps. Firstly, proved the construction error of the boiling point in LabMaya. Secondly, is the to overcome it. In the first step, a real experiment was conducted based on the simulation in LabMaya. In the second step using the reconstructed set of tools. Results of the data analysis showed that the LabMaya construction proved to cause a very large reduction in solvent. The errors were 27.63%, 33.33%, and 40.75%, respectively. The reconstructed device proved to be able to maintain the amount of solvent so that it would not change the concentration of the solution. This equipment has a very small error, less than 5%. Of the three condensers used, namely Vigreux, Liebig, and Graham, it was found that the Graham condenser had the best accuracyTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi cara mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa pada topik soal (H2S) dengan melakukan percobaan kenaikan titik didih. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap. Pertama, membuktikan kesalahan konstruksi titik didih pada LabMaya. Kedua, adalah cara mengatasinya. Pada tahap pertama, dilakukan percobaan nyata berdasarkan simulasi pada LabMaya. Pada tahap kedua menggunakan perangkat alat yang direkonstruksi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa konstruksi LabMaya terbukti menyebabkan penurunan pelarut yang sangat besar. Kesalahannya masing-masing sebesar 27,63%, 33,33%, dan 40,75%. Perangkat yang direkonstruksi terbukti mampu mempertahankan jumlah pelarut sehingga tidak mengubah konsentrasi larutan. Peralatan ini memiliki kesalahan yang sangat kecil, kurang dari 5%. Dari ketiga kondensor yang digunakan, yaitu Vigreux, Liebig, dan Graham, ditemukan bahwa kondensor Graham memiliki akurasi terbaik

    This research aims to analyze students' science process skills in solving science questions at State Middle Schools in Blora. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The instrument used in this research was a SPS test question in the form of an essay. The research data was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study show that the SPS of students at State Middle Schools in Blora on the concepts of elements, compounds, and mixtures is in the low category with an average of 50%. Based on the nine indicators analyzed, observing indicators have an average percentage of 54%, grouping indicators have an average percentage of 45%, grouping indicators have an average percentage of 45%, interpreting indicators have an average percentage of 53%, forecasting indicators have an average -an average percentage of 55%, the indicator of asking questions has an average percentage of 49%, the indicator of formulating a hypothesis has an average percentage of 52%, the indicator of applying concepts has an average percentage of 47%, the indicator of communicating has an average the average percentage is 53%, and the indicator of designing an experiment has an average percentage of 35%. The average score and achievement value of students is that there are 24 students in the sufficient category and 8 students in the low category.Keterampilan proses sains di SMPN di Blora yang masih tergolong rendah ini mencerminkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa belum mampu merumuskan hipotesis untuk menyelesaikan suatu masalah . Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis keterampilan proses sains siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal IPA di SMP Negeri di Blora. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif . Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes soal KPS berbentuk essay. Data hasil penelitian di lakukan secara kualitatif, sampel penelitian adalah kelas 9 jumlah responden 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KPS siswa di SMP Negeri di Blora pada konsep unsur, senyawa, dan campuran termasuk dalam kategori rendah dengan rata- rata sebesar 50%. Berdasarkan sembilan indikator yang dianalisis, indikator mengamati memiliki rata-rata  presentase 54%, indikator mengelompokkan memiliki rata-rata presentase 45%, indikator mengelompokkan memiliki rata-rata  presentase 45%, indikator menafsirkan memiliki rata-rata presentase 53%, indikator meramalkan memiliki rata-rata presentase 55%, indikator mengajukan pertanyaan memiliki rata-rata presentase 49%, indikator merumuskan hipotesis memiliki rata-rata presentase 52%, indikator menerapkan konsep memiliki rata-rata presentase 47%, indikator mengkomunikasikan memiliki rata-rata presentase 53%, dan indikator merancang percobaan memiliki rata-rata presentase 35%. Adapun skor rata-rata dan nilai ketercapaian siswa yaitu ada 24 siswa dengan kategori cukup dan 8 siswa dengan kategori rendah.     Computational thinking is one of the skills needed to support 21st-century skills, especially in science education, such as conservation biology. This study aims to analyze the increase in CT in conservation biology lectures, especially the topic of conservation threats. The lectures given are based on PBL-SSI. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental method. The research design used is a one-group pretest and posttest. The instrument used is a multiple-choice test with 15 questions containing indicators of computational thinking. The thinking indicators used consist of algorithms, decomposition, abstraction, and pattern recognition. The results show that PBL-SSI can significantly improve computational thinking skills with the decomposition indicator as the indicator that shows the most improvementComputational thinking merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk mendukung keterampilan abad 21, khususnya dalam pendidikan sains seperti biologi konservasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan CT pada perkuliahan biologi konservasi, khususnya topik ancaman konservasi. Perkuliahan yang diberikan berbasis pada PBL-SSI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest and posttest. Indikator berpikir yang digunakan terdiri dari algoritma, dekomposisi, abstraksi, dan pengenalan pola.     The problem in the research is motivated because the achievements of Indonesian Aquatic Federation swimming athletes have not been maximized. This is suspected, because the coaching program given to athletes is not running optimally. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the coaching program for the achievements of swimming athletes of the Indonesian Aquatic Federation (IAF) Solok City. The research method is CIPP model program evaluation research with informants of administrators, coaches and swimming athletes of IAF Solok City. Data collection was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that, (1) Context aspect, the coaching program carried out aims to produce athletes who excel in swimming, both at the Regional, Provincial and even National levels. (2) Input aspects, there is a written management structure, already has a certified or licensed coach, a lot of good potential to become a swimming athlete, there are no adequate facilities and infrastructure, and need to be renewed, and there are only short-term training planning documents that are not arranged as training programs, (3) Process aspects, there is a written coach preparation. The implementation of the training program provided is in accordance with what the coach has prepared. (4) Product aspects, the achievements of athletes in championships that are followed such as O2SN Provincial Level, BSC and HBSC time trials, NSC, Yogyakarta national students, Igornas Provincial Level, Kejurda, Riau open and Minangkabau open. There are changes in the attitude of athletes such as discipline, courtesy, sportsmanship and a sense of caring for one another.Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena belum maksimalnya prestasi atlet renang Federasi Akuatik Indonesia. Hal ini ditengarai, karena program pembinaan yang diberikan kepada atlet belum berjalan maksimal. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi program pembinaan terhadap prestasi atlet renang Federasi Akuatik Indonesia (FASI) Kota Solok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian evaluasi program model CIPP dengan informan pengurus, pelatih dan atlet renang IAF Kota Solok. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Aspek Context, program pembinaan yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan atlet-atlet yang berprestasi di cabang olahraga renang, baik di tingkat Daerah, Provinsi bahkan Nasional. (2) Aspek input, terdapat struktur kepengurusan yang tertulis, sudah memiliki pelatih yang bersertifikat atau berlisensi, banyak potensi yang baik untuk menjadi atlet renang, belum adanya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, dan perlu diperbaharui, dan hanya terdapat dokumen perencanaan latihan jangka pendek yang tidak tersusun sebagai program latihan, (3) Aspek process, terdapat persiapan pelatih yang tertulis. Pelaksanaan program latihan yang diberikan sudah sesuai dengan apa yang telah dipersiapkan oleh pelatih. (4) Aspek produk, adanya prestasi atlet dalam kejuaraan yang diikuti seperti O2SN Tingkat Provinsi, time trial BSC dan HBSC, NSC, pelajar nasional Yogyakarta, Igornas Tingkat Provinsi, Kejurda, Riau open dan Minangkabau open.
