PENGUJIAN TEGANGAN TEMBUS BOLAK BALIK MINYAK GORENG BERBAGAI MERK DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN VARIASI BENTUK ELEKTRODA
Perkembangan saat ini menuntut suatu produk yang aman dan ramah lingkungan yang dapat digunakan sebagai isolasi cair transformator. Keadaan ini berpeluang menggunakan bahan energi terbarukan dari minyak nabati seperti minyak goreng untuk mendinginkan transformator. Pengujian pada minyak goreng berbagai merk ini merupakan pengujian tegangan tembus bolak-balik dengan variasi bentuk elektroda yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar tegangan tembusnya (Vbd). Pengujian ini menggunakan elektroda berbentuk jarum dan bola dengan jarak sela elektroda (s) dan arus sekunder transformator (Is) yang berbeda. Tegangan tembus bolak-balik sebenarnya untuk minyak goreng bermerk Sania dengan menggunakan elektroda jarum dengan Is sebesar 1,6 mA pada jarak sela 5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm adalah 22,9 kv, 23,3 kv, 23,7 kv dan dengan menggunakan elektroda bola pada Is dan s yang sama diperoleh tegangan tembus sebenarnya sebesar 21,9 kv, 22,3 kv, 22,7 kv. Tegangan tembus bolak-balik yang sebenarnya untuk minyak goreng SunCo dengan menggunakan elektroda jarum dengan Is sebesar 1,6 mA pada jarak sela 5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm adalah 22,3 kv, 22,9 kv, 23,5 kv dan dengan menggunakan elektroda bola pada Is dan s yang sama diperoleh sebesar 21,5 kv, 21,9 kv, 22,5 kv
KINERJA INJEKSI SURFAKTAN SULFONAT ALKIL ESTER (SAE) PADA SALINITAS OPTIMUM MENGGUNAKAN BATUAN BEREA
Surfaktan sulfonat alkil ester (SAE) merupakan surfaktan baru yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan perolehan minyak. Surfaktan ini bersifat amphoterik berdasarkan muatan dari bagian kepalanya. Pada penelitian sebelumnya telah dilakukan uji kompatibilitas surfaktan sulfonat alkil ester (SAE) pada kedua karakteristik minyak ringan dan berat untuk menurunkan tegangan antar muka dalam berbagai salinitas brine dan variasi ion monovalen dan divalen. Dari penelitian tersebut diperoleh salinitas optimum dengan konsentrasi surfaktan sulfonat alkil ester 0,4% pada minyak ringan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lanjutan yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui kinerja dari surfaktan sulfonat alkil ester pada konsentrasi 0,4% terhadap batuan core Berea dengan berbagai bentuk skenario coreflooding menggunakan salinitas optimum 75.000 ppm yang telah diperoleh. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui pengaruh sekuen injeksi dalam hal salinitas optimum surfaktan lebih tinggi dari salinitas air formasi, dengan membandingkan metode gradien salinitas negatif (Nelson) dan gradien salinitas optimum(Sheng). Hasil recovery factor terbaik yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode gradien salinitas optimum, yaitu 12,12% setelah injeksi surfaktan SAE 0,4% pada salinitas optimum 75.000 ppm. Kata Kunci: surfaktan, sulfonal alkil ester, salinitas optimum, coreflooding, faktor perolehan minyak (RF
AUDIT ENERGI PADA GEDUNG B POLITEKNIK NEGERI BENGKALIS
AbstractState Polytechnic of Bengkalis, as a vocational education institution, is continuously developing and increasing both in quantity and quality. The increasing in number of students and facilities, in the other side, has caused the increasing in energy consumption. Electricity problem then occurred because the increasing in energy consumption caused the increasing in electricity bills. The purposes of this research are to calculate the electricity consumption intensity at the class rooms and the laboratories in order to know the electricity usage efficiency in State Polytechnic of Bengkalis; to know the electricity consumption profile in State Polytechnic of Bengkalis; to prevent the energy wasting without decreasing the comfort of the users and fulfill the required standard; to increase the electricity usage efficiency in campus without decreasing the productivity and comfort in teaching-learning and the administration process; also to give input towards State Polytechnic of Bengkalis related to energy saving possibility that can be applied by State Polytechnic of Bengkalis. The energy audit coverage was started from a simple data survey up to calculating the existing data specifically, and then, combined with the specific test towards the facilities (buildings), which was designed to result new data. PEMODELAN DAN SIMULASI PROSES SURPLUS PADA BISNIS ASURANSI
Basic insurance business is public trust. Insurance companies must pay attention to the systems and procedures for the payment of claims problem which is not simple. One of the important thing is when determining premium, because if it is too high could lead the company out of competition with the competitor. In the other hand, it is too low could lead the company lack of cash to handle claim which bring a negative impact for the company. This research aimed to give illustration of surplus in insurance business in a year period through determination of premium income and stochastic modelling in number and amount of claims. This model could be used by insurance company to take decision when determining premium whether surplus or ruin. The research used Exponential and Gamma distribution to model time of arrival and amount of claim respectively. The result show that the minimum premium could be found to get minimum surplus and avoid ruin
Prototype Pengontrolan Titik Fokus Panel Surya Terhadap Energi Matahari Secara Otomatis Pada STMIK Amik Riau
A solar panel is a device that can convert solar energy into electricity. The use of solar energy sources can be utilized as street lighting and garden lights. Today many use of solar panels mounted in static (silent) positions in one direction at one focal point will not get the maximum power point of the sun and sunlight received by the solar panel slightly so that it is inefficient at the time of charging the battery.The amount of solar energy that can be absorbed depends on the absorption of sunlight. Absorption can be optimized by making solar panels can continue to face the sun. This system uses ATMEGA8535 microcontroller with one temperature sensor to detect high solar thermal temperature received by solar panels and four photodiode sensors as a detection of light reflection received. These sensors can be able to provide a dynamic solar panels that are automatic and optimal in absorbing sunlight. With the absence of the use of solar panels as the lighting of the garden lights in Stmik Amik Riau and still using electrical energy from PLN, the purpose of this study is to build a solar panel control device that is able to follow the movement of the direction of the arrival of sunlight so it will be optimal in absorbing sunlight.Keywords: Solar Panel, microcontroller, Temperature Sensor, Photodiode Senso
PENGARUH PENDINGINAN MEDIA AIR DAN OLI PADA HEATTREATMENT SAMBUNGAN LAS METODE SMAW TERHADAP KEKUATAN LOGAM YANG DIHASILKAN
Abstract Welding is a method of metal extension that utilize the Penetration of heat produced. Heat and the freeze of a metal extension is a natural phenomenon, where that process works based on the difference of temperature. The cooling temperature that work so fast creating diverse structure as the result that the mechanical ability of a metal changes.               This research purpose is to find out to what extent heat treatment with water and oil cooling media gives effect to the result of SMAW weld, considering processes changes in metal are very sensitive towards mechanical ability.                Hardness testing in raw material that has been done gives result of 46.9 with an average hardness in the normal welding process of 48 HRB or increased by 2.34%. This value indicates that the welding process will have an impact on the increase in hardness of the weld metal. Then the weld metal heat treatment process at 850oCwith normal cooling of free air decreases the weld metal hardness by 43.5 HRB or 7.24% under raw material. While the quenching process carried out with water and oil cooler has an impact on increasing the hardness above heat treatment, normal cooling is 4.36% and 3.19% lower to the raw material. From this description it can be concluded that quench accelerates the rate of cooling and increase hardness by 4.36%. Key words: welding SMAW, heattreatment, cooling water and oil, hardness metal Â
