    Distribusi Kecepatan dan Konsentrasi Sedimen Suspensi pada Aliran Menikung (Studi Kasus pada Saluran Irigasi Mataram Yogyakarta)

    The flow velocity and suspended sediment concentration are important parameters of sediment transport mechanisms, especially for agradation and degradation problems. The centrifugal force at the bend channels will increased flow velocity at the outer bank of the bend. It is of course also affects the distribution of flow velocity toward the outside and the inside of the bend channels. The change of the velocity distribution  it is very possible also changes the distribution of suspended sediment concentration. In this paper will discuss the velocity distribution profile and distribution of sediment concentration in the bend flow. This research was conducted at Mataram Irrigation Channel Yogyakarta. The channel rectangular in shape and made of masonry with angle bend 580. Measuring the flow velocity used Propeller currentmeter and  sediment concentration used Opcon Probe. Measuring flow velocity and sediment concentration conducted simultaneously for each measurement point.The results showed that due to the centrifugal force in bend flow, flow velocity distribution and sediment concentration distribution undergoing significant change the outside and the inside of the bend. In general, the distribution of flow velocity toward the outerbank of the bend has increased and the distribution suspended  sediment concentration has decrease  and the opposite occurs innerbank of the bend. A low velocity on the inner bank of the channel bend causes larger grains of sediment that settles and potentially silting

    Heavy rains on Monday, 21/3/2016, which flushed the city of Padang, West Sumatra, causing floods and submerged thousands of homes at local residents. This time called the flooding the worst experienced by the region in recent years. Head of Logistics Emergency and Disaster Management Agency said flooding in Padang city West Sumatra at this time was the worst, because it contributes to soak the areas that usually never flooded. The purpose of the study is to look at changes in land use and hydrograph models of Batang Air Dingin watershed using field data.The results shows the change of  land use of Batang Air Dingin Watershed can decreased 1.57%  from 2011 to 2015. It due to the opening of new land. While shrub rose rose 0.70%, because was due of changes of forests that have not done processing. For an others using of the land  the number increase 1.75%. It due to changes of forests and shrubs into failure land.. As the runoff coefficient (C) does not occur any significant change that is from 0.443 into 0.445. Peak discharge calculated by the Nakayasu method 179.274 m3 / dt, was greater by Snyder method of 177.150 m3 / dt is caused no difference in the approach used

    In the last ten years, the area west coast of Sumatra island has several times experienced the earthquake with strong intensity. Starting from the earthquake in Aceh December 26, 2004 until 30 September 2009 earthquake Pariaman ago. The last earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale has killed more than 1,000 people and damaged buildings 279 432, with 50 percent of them were severely damaged. Another alternative that is better than doing demolition is to retrofit. In general, the retrofit can be described as the addition of new technology or new technology on a merger between the old system (which already exists). In other words, the retrofit is the process of retrofitting old buildings with the aim of making these buildings resistant to earthquakes.     In designing this device, the rice thresher will be lighter, so it will be easier in lifting, simpler in using so farmers as main users will easier in operating this instrument with featuring speed controllable by applying fuzzy method, and also no fossil fuels used because it utilize sunshine as green energy to drive DC motor. Solar cells are used to absorb sunshine in rice thresher machine because it easier in maintenance. The test results of the rice thresher machine is the reduction of the avarage motor speed by 195 rpm every each five rice straws, in the other hand the maximum electric current is needed to spin the rice threser  is 6 ampere and minimum electric current is 2.2 ampere. Furthermore, to stabilize motor speed at 2000 rpm, the avarage time required is 6 seconds when this machine loaded with rice straws. The eficiency of the rice thresher machine is 96%, it mean the avarage time to thresh the rice is 9 rice straws every each seconds

    Signalized Intersection (air-APILL) Tanjung Barat – Pasar Minggu (South Jakarta) is an intersection that had existed before the overpass (fly over) TB. Simatupang was built.     Waste plastic mounting, but can be recycled into other products in the form of granules before further processed into pellets and seed injection molding process produces products such as buckets, plates, bottles and other beverages. Though so small plastic recycling industry is still constrained in plastic enumeration process because the machine used was not optimal ability. The purpose of this research is the development of the system thrasher plastic crusher and cutter cylinder-type reel and technical evaluation. This study was conducted over two years, the first year the design and manufacture of machinery, the second year is a technical evaluation of the engine, engine performance improvements and economic analysis of granular plastic products.From the results obtained engine design capacity of the machine ± 350 kg / h, the engine size is 50 cm x 120 cm x 30 cm, power motor of 10 HP at 1450 RPM rotation with 3 phase. Some of the major components of the engine that is, counter crusher unit consists of two counter rotating cylinders opposite, counter shaft size Ø 4 cm x 58 cm, blade chopper Ø 17 cm x 2 cm with the number of teeth / blades 7 pieces and the number of blades along shaft 7 pieces, buses retaining Ø 10 cm x 2 cm. Counter-cylinder unit consists of a reel-type cutter counter shaft size Ø 4 cm x 90 cm, the middle shaft mounted cylinder with Ø 17 cm x 40 cm as the holder of the chopper blades. Chopper blade consists of 4 pieces with a size of 40 cm x 2 cm x 4 cm with ASSAB materials. Furthermore, as the blade retaining bedknife shear force of the blade chopper, upper frame, lower frame, strainer, funnel entry, exit funnel, and the drive unit consists of an electric motor, reducer, belts, pulleys and 2 pieces of gear transmission.     An EFI cars (Electronic Fuel Injection) is not equipped with a pressure fuel pump indicator, so the driver does not know the the fuel pump performance. If the fuel pump work under the standard, the engine is not responsive to acceleration, engine temperature can be increased and the performance of the engine is lowered. This research are trying to design a fuel pump pressure detector using a pressure sensor. The research methodology used is the Research and Development (R & D) consisting of product design, design validation, design revisions, and test products. This study used three product design because the design of the first and the second has not been as expected. The third design uses a comparator circuit as the controller three indicator LED (Light Emitting Diode). If the fuel pump working pressure of 2,1kg / cm²-2.5 kg / cm², the three colored LED green, yellow and red lights up. If the fuel pump working pressure of 1.6 kg / cm²-2,0kg / cm², the two LED will light up the colors yellow and red. If the fuel pump working pressure of 1,0kg / cm²-1.5 kg / cm², it is only one red LED are illuminated. A comparison between the changes in pressure to produce the output voltage linear data and repeatibility = 0

    This project aims to testing the equation which obtained from the graph characteristics relationships of the optimum input voltage driver valve to change the power load on the valve opening proportional to the input PEMFC system so that the valve opening will work automatically according to changes in load power. Equations are taken there are two linear equations and polynomials. Enter the equation is used as the power load and input voltage output driver valves. Test results show similarities with both voltage and output current characteristics are almost the same system with the characteristics of the optimum and maximum valve opening. H2 gas usage on testing with both equations show similar values with optimum valve opening, making it more efficient than the maximum valve openin
