    Pembuatan Sistem Kontrol Sliding Door untuk Rumah Tinggal

    The sliding door is a type of door that works by sliding the door to the right or to the left. The sliding door is a type of door that is suitable for use in a room with small volume, because the sliding door does not require a large space. lack the sliding door when the door has been closed, lack the sliding door when the door has been closed, there still exists a gap between the open doors and walls so that air can be in and out freely. with the construction of the door using the hinge mechanism, can minimize these conditions. To make the sliding door works automatically, the authors make a set of control system that uses an analog system and the concept of open-loop control system. “dc motor” is used as drive for the door and “central lock actuator” as locking doors. On the control circuit voltage source used is equal to 12V. Control circuit components used are double circuit push button (NO and NC), 12V relay 8 feet, limits switches, motor DC of power windows, central lock actuator. The components were assembled for the purpose of changing the polarity of the DC motor is regulated by a relay mechanism. By changing the polarity of the dc motor, the motor can rotate to the left and to the right, so the door is connected to the motor would be moves to open and close according to the motor movement

    Preblended asbuton is one of a kind bitumen modification that used in Indonesia. From the results of laboratory tests and field trials scale, obtained that paved using asphalt mixture has better technical properties than conventional asphalt mix made bu asphalt Pen 60. Therefore, in the General Specifications of Highways 2011, this type of asphalt used for dense and  heavy trafficed road. Although the long-term performance of asphaltic mixtures  using preblended asbuton have not been surely known, but until now there has been a lot of road sections in Indonesia have used it. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the long-term field performance of preblended asbuton asphaltic mixtures. To achieve these objectives, filed conditions survey, testing and sampling tests have conducted on several roads that use different preblended asbuton (further named Code-O and Code-B), which has served the traffic from one to three years. In this study, the filed long-term performance of the preblended asbuton asphaltic layer  viewed from the level of damage and aging asphalt development that occurs in the field. Some conclution derived from this study were that preblended asbuton Code-O or Code-B has a good rutting resistance but preblended asbuton Code-B has a better cracking resistance than  Code-O. In terms of short-term aging point of view, preblended asbuton Code-O are better than asphalt Pen 60 and contrary to the Code-B, but for long-term the aging resistance either of preblended asbuton Code-O  or Code-B was relative similar to asphalt Pen 60

    In a feasibility study of the structure after the fire ( Case Study Building of Pasar Koppas in  Padang ) . To obtain preliminary data, building data includes tracking information about the building construction has been done. Then visual inspection includes examination of the structural system of the building and non-structural components, as well as the configuration of the geometry component of the structure. Measurement of the building is intended to determine the configuration of the building . It can also serve as a confirmation of the existing building geometric conditions . Later examination of the damage structure and non- structural components by visual observation . Field trials conducted to obtain the data quality of the material structure of the building, with a non destruxctive and destructive . This activity is a test of the quality of the concrete surface with a hammer concrete test, concrete homogeneity measurement, measurement of the diameter and spacing of reinforcement, concrete cored drill with the core drill tools, observations reinforcement fatigue . While in the laboratory to test the compressive strength of the concrete core and reinforcement tensile test. Taking photographs of the condition of the buildings, structural components and non-structural components for further examination to determine the location of the damage, as well as a guide to determine damage level of the building, in addition to the photographs can serve as documentation . Then the data evaluation and analysis of the structure of the building . From the results of the evaluation and analysis of the feasibility of building structures from Pasar Koppas could be concluded, that the structure and function of the building is still viable . For the convenience of occupancy necessary to repair or retrofitting the proper manner and method by the Government of Padang City

    Pembuatan Alat Pengadukan Pupuk Kompos Berbasiskan Mikrokontroler

    In fabrication of compos mixing machine based on microcontroller, an AC motor 1 phase used to rotate the container and it will help the farmer work in stirring and mixing compos material. In order to display the process, a LCD is use in this fabrication.The design of this machine is divided into two categories, hardware design and software design. The hardware consist of an AVRATmega 8535  microcontroller minimum system , a LCD, Keypad,  an AC Motor 1 phase, a Capacitor, and a relay.  In the order hand for software design, a Code vision-AVR program language as the program application. The data analysis techniques are conducted by testing the machine performs.  Not only by measuring operating voltages, but also testing the microcontroller with a program application.This machine is based on microcontroller AVRATmega8535 and using C language in programming. In order to display the mixing output, time setting is displayed on LCD. The optimum result started from the first 10 seconds ON condition and the second of 10 seconds ON condition should have a 30 seconds time off

    Steam Electrics Power Sijantang Sawahlunto in West Sumatra, produce fly ash waste from coal burning which is very much every day (about 300 tons/day). Air pollution caused by fly-ash has been disturbing the community surrounding due to environmental pollution, the pollution has been carried away by water flown to the rice fields, causing the rice crops of community are damage. It is already a big problem, because the public has repeatedly protested to the PLN, even the local government had been repeatedly requested to the PLN, to resolved that the issue soon.  To solved that problem, PLN in cooperation with Padang State of Polytechnic, has done some research in order to utilize the waste fly ash into building materials. The results of this study prove that the waste fly ash can be used as the basic material to produce instant tiling mortar. Through research conducted, it is found a smart way out, where "there is a problem that can be used as an opportunity" especially if people are trained and given the opportunity to produce mortar instant in their homes (home industry), it will be able to improve the economy and welfare of the people around the plant Sijantang
