Pemanfaatan Bekas Adukan Mortar pada Pratikum Batu (Masonry) untuk Paving Block
Stone Construction Laboratory is one of the existing courses in the Department of Civil Engineering Polytechnic State of Padang. Students are required to practice firsthand the theories about stone construction that have been studied. Stone work or often called masonry is wall or brick installation work for floor, wall, or fence. In practicum stone, the material used is artificial stone like brick and can also natural stone by using an adhesive substance usually known by the name of spesi or mortar.Mortar or spesi is one of the building materials that serves to glue the pairs of bricks, brick, stucco and so on. Mortars consist of sand, cement and water. In a stone work practicum where the work is not permanent (unloading pairs) then the cement material is replaced by lime which is a temporary binder. So far, the rest of the mortar use for the stone practicum is just thrown away because it cannot be used anymore, therefore it takes alternative utilization of the former mortar, for that the author tries to research by using it to make paving blocks. Paving blocks or concrete bricks for floors are a component of building material made from a mixture of hydraulic cement or the like, aggregates and water with or without other additives which do not reduce the quality of the paving blockThe study used comparison between paving block with mixed composition of mortar, cement and water mixture and paving block with standard mixture composition ie cement, sand and water. Paving is made by pressing using hydraulic press machine with a compressive strength of 25 kg and compressive strength testing with Universal Testing Machine.Based on the results of the research, it was found that the paving block from the utilization of mortar has a compressive strength higher than the standard paving block. At the age of 14 days, the compressive strength of the paving block from the utilization of mortar used has a compressive strength of 76.14 k
Penentuan Resistivity Tanah Di Dalam Menetapkan Area Pemasangan Grounding Gardu Distribusi 20 Kv Mengunakan Kombinasi Grid dan Rod di Kampus Politeknik Negeri Padang
To obtain a small earth (near zero) resistivity value is determined by the number of planted electrodes and soil type properties. Difficulty in obtaining this small resistivity value often errors in estimating soil properties or soil type resistance so that failure to obtain soil barriers often occurs.To determine the desired amount of material can be measured soil type resistor value, by measuring the soil resistivity value so that the estimated material cost estimation can be achieved well. then in this research using geoelectric method with Schlumberger configuration. Schlumberger method is a method with a constant system of spacing rules with the note of the 'n' multiplier is the comparison of the distance between the C1-P1 or (C2-P2) electrodes with P1-P2. The instrument used is a resistivity meter ( Naniura) equipped with four electrodes which have the ability to read output voltage response due to current injected into the ground surface through two current electrodes and two potential electrodes. In this study used progress to map the 2D isoresistivity beneath the measured surface. .The results of this soil resistivity measurement can be determined with certainty the amount of material used and the cost of workmanship provided to establish the proper grounding system to be attached to a 20 kV Distribution substation at the State Polytechnic Padang State Electricity Laboratory. Rancang Bangun Sistem Pemantauan Infus dan Tekanan Darah pada Pasien Rawat Inap secara Real Time
The problems that often arise in inpatients, especially those that need special handling such as infusion fluids should be given is often the occurrence of negligence in the infusion bottle examination is good condition of fluids in infusion bottles and the number of droplets per minute that is not appropriate. In addition, the patient will also be disrupted when the nurse should take care of the patient's blood pressure periodically. To overcome these problems need to be made a system that can monitor all of it in real time.This system design process requires a hardware and software that is integrated in such a way that it can be used to monitor the infusion and blood pressure of the patient. The main hardware required is the infrared sensor and the pressure sensor where the sensor will be controlled by the microcontroller device which the results can be sent to the monitoring computer wirelessly. From the overall testing of the design that has been made, it can generally be applied but there are still shortcomings that occur in measuring instruments, especially blood pressure gauges where the average error occurred in the measurement of systolic pressure of 8.42% and the average error that Occurs in diastolic measurements of 4.90% and on data delivery there is a significant delay spike when given a barrier
Pengaruh Sudut dan Jari-Jari Saluran Menikung terhadap Konsentrasi Aliran Sedimen Suspensi arah Transversal
The change in channel dimension has a great effect on the flow hydraulic parameters. Likewise, the angle and radius of the bend are not the same will also affect the concentration of suspended sediment flow. To determine the effect of angle and radius of the bend, the measurement of susupended sediment concentration was done at 4 (four) location in Mataram irrigation channel curve. The four locations describe 2 channels having relatively the same angle but having different radius, and 2 (two) channels having the same relative radius but having different angles. Measurement of suspended sediment concentration in tranversal direction is done some depth point used by opcon probe. The results of the research for different angle of bend shows that from the interance to the end of the channel bend so the trend of suspended sediment concentration value are decreases. After the end of the channel bend started there is no more the angle influenced, the trend value of suspended sediment concentration are constant. As for the different radius, the value of suspended sediment concentration is still relatively the same and there is no change significantly. This shows that the relation or influence between the length of the radius of the bend with the value of the suspended sediment concentration is not visibl

We-based e-Learning System can be used to support lecture’s activity. Lecturer as a teacher need a servise of the Sistim which suitable for their activities. Lecturer’s activities consist of delivering materials, discussion and interaction with their students. Because of that the aplication design is needed to support the activities of lectures. Designing the web based e-Learning System is intended to give a service on the lecture. Lecture can do their teaching activities, delivering the materials and administering it using this e-Learning aplication. From the student side, they have to receive the materials easily from anywhere at anytime. This research have an objective to design a web based e_learning System which give an adequate service supporting the lecturer’s activities. Lecture can use this aplication ti deliver their materials, communicating and interacting with their student, observing the progress of students and give result of learning evaluation from the web. The design and implementation of this e-learning application is based on the requirement of the users. The users consist of lecturer, student, quest, and administrator. The process of aplication design is built within Sistimatical stages. After finishing the design process, the aplication is implemented on the real Sistim. Doing the design testing and functional is to test if the aplication can go well together with design and funtionality.e-Learnign aplication that has been built is designed based on lecturer’s need when doing their lecture’s activities. The creation of an intelligent biogas reactor made from rice straw is a long-term goal of this research. Biogas reactor is a breeding ground for methanogenesis bacteria in the process of methane gas formation (biogas) which can be used as fuel. The proliferation of these methanogenesis bacteria depends on the temperature, degree of acidity, humidity and volume of raw materials contained in the biogas reactor, if these parameters are out of threshold then the result of methane gas will be reduced or even the methanogenesis bacteria will die will lead to cessation of methane gas production. Motorcycles with injection system uses engine scanner tool as a reference for a mechanic when performing a tune-up to find out and get the engine firing conditions were perfect. Unlike the motorcycle carburetor system, relying only on the experience of a mechanic. If using tools, usually using exhaust emission analyzer which only serves to measure the levels of elements and compounds and exhaust emissions and it can not be used to identify the condition of the combustion engine. Besides, not all the workshops have it, just a certain manufacturer authorized workshops, garages and a large scale or related government agencies that have it. There are two categories of combustion engine, the first engine combustion conditions are not perfect and complete combustion conditions. Perfect engine combustion conditions is needed so that maximum engine performance with an efficient use of fuel. This study aims to make a device that is capable of detecting the condition of combustion 4-stroke motorcycle carburetor system using the method of sum square error (SSE) through the value of the data patterns of exhaust emissions based gas sensors. The study, of the five categories of motorcycles with the manufacturer, type and year of manufacture of different shows that, the system made capable of identifying categories of combustion engine based on the SSE on the identification and reference set. In the district IV Nagari of North Bayang there are rivers that have a large water flow. Given its geographical position, these rivers has a large enough height difference. These rivers provide great opportunities for the development of electric energy generation in microscale powerplants.This District only have 2 villages that reserved the electricity, while others not covered due to the difficult path impassable and distances. So as to provide the electricity needs of society, the government in collaboration with the PNPM Mandiri established several microhydro powerplants (PLTMH), because of the potential for water in this place is quite large and abundant.PLTMH in this District is among PLTMH Muaro Aie 72.5 kW, PLTMH Pulai Indah 60 kW, PLTMH Bayang Janiah 15 kW, PLTMH Pancuang Taba 75 kW, PLTMH Limau-Limau 25 kW and PLTMH Ngalau Gadang 25 kW. By doing this analysis study can be known the potential of water flow on the PLTMH Muaro Aie and Pulai Indah. Due to the large potential of water flow present then the power raised also will be bigger, and new plants can be built or added to distribute the power to other areas that have not been fed by electrical energy
