TINDAK TUTUR DIREKTIF DALAM FAMILY DEVELOPMENT SESSION (FDS) (KAJIAN SOSIOPRAGMATIK)
Bentuk penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan jenis tindak tutur direktif dalam proses Family Development Session (FDS) Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kabupaten Boyolali. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan sosiopragmatik untuk menjawab permasalahan dan menginterpretasikan maksud tuturan atau percakapan yang dilakukan Fasilitator (Pendamping Sosial) dan Peserta (Keluarga Penerima Manfaat) dengan mempertimbangkan konteks situasi tutur. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menerapkan teknik simak bebas libat cakap, teknik catat,dan rekam. Teknik triangulasi pada penelitian ini adalah triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan data yang dikumpulkan berdasarkan kesamaan karakteristik objek yang dikaji, yakni tindak tutur yang selanjutnya dilakukan analisis data dengan menerapkan metode padan ekstralingual. Dari hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa dengan mempertimbangkan konteks situasi tutur hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi contoh nyata penggunaan tindak tutur direktif di masyarakat berekonomi rendah. Tindak tutur direktif tersebut berupa perintah, permintaan, dan saran.Kata Kunci: Tindak Tutur, Direktif, Sosiopragmatik, FD
PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA AJAR MATEMATIKA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA MICROSOFT VISUAL BASIC UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MATEMATIS MAHASISWA (Adopsi Langkah Teori Pengembangan Borg & Gall)
AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the development of mathematics teaching materials on matrix materials using Microsoft Visual Basic media that is easy to understand learners and quality according to expert materials and programming experts. Based on the assessment of material experts, these teaching materials are included in the criteria very well, with a feasibility level of 87%. Based on the assessment of media experts, this resource is included in very good criteria, with a degree of eligibility of 88%. Based on the results of the test on the learners, this instructional material is included in the criteria very well, with a feasibility level of 86%. Based on the assessment of educational practitioners, these teaching materials are included in very good criteria, with a feasibility level of 86%. So it can be concluded that the end result of the development of this resource is suitable to be used as teaching material of Algebra Liner on matrix material. The final product of this resource is a product that has passed the first and second revision stage. SPEECH ACTS ON EFL LEARNERS’ TEACHING PERFORMANCE AND ITS IMPLICATION IN TEACHING AND LEARNING ACTIVITY
This research attempts to find the classification of speech acts and its implication in teaching and learning activity. The researcher uses observation and recording technique to collect the data. In analyzing the data, the researcher uses descriptive qualitative method. It was found that there are two types of speech acts: direct and indirect speech acts. It is categorized into four: representative, expressive, directive, commissive. The use of speech acts gives some implications: improving students’ understanding of speech acts, increasing level of decency in a communication, improving class atmosphere and students’ motivation, and building good relationship between teacher and students. AN ANALYSIS OF PATTANI’S STUDENTS PRONUNCIATION IN PRONOUNCING ENGLISH FRICATIVE CONSONANTS AT UIN LAMPUNG
This research is aimed to find out common pronunciation errors in pronouncing English fricative thus, to find how many global and local errors in pronouncing English fricative based on Communicative Effect Taxonomy, and to find the causes of pronunciation error made by Pattani’s students. This research used qualitative research. The result shows that the common error is fricative [ð]. Then, some causes of errors by the subjects according to interlingual and intralingual transfer, such as: first, fricative [θ], [ð], [Ʒ] are unshared sounds specific to English, [θ] and [ð] were realized as stop [t] and [d]. DIVERSITY OF RACES AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO ENGLISH PHONOLOGICAL ERROR
This research analyses English Phonological Errors produced by the diversity races in Lampung, those are: Jasengnese, Javanese, Lampungnese, Palembanganese, Semendonese, and Sundanese. It aims to find out which aspects of Phonological errors that are pronounced. The design of the research was a case study in the form of qualitative research using the principle of contrastive analysis to analyze the data. The participants were chosen regarding as representative among those races who learn English for the foreign language in semester three and five of English Education Department in STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung. Recording pronunciation test and interview were used to collect the data. Phonetics transcription online were used to find the error and transcribe it into phonetics symbol. As the findings, this research focuses on 50% errors. Jasengnese committed errors on /d/, /ɜː/, /uː/, /ʊə/, stressing word at the first, middle, last, the intonation was in rising and falling intonation, and / iː/, /əʊ/, /aɪ/, /ɑː/ in complementary distribution. Javanese commited errors on /d/, /b/, /p/, /g/, stressing words at the middle, last. Lampungnese committed errors on /f/, /v/, /p/, /ə/, stressing words at the first, middle, last, rising and falling intonation, and / iː/, /əʊ/, /aɪ/, /ɑː/ in complementary distribution. Palembangnese committed errors on /b/ and /d/, /ɔɪ/, /eə/, /ɪə/, /ʊə/, stressing word at the first, middle, last, the intonation was in rising and falling intonation, and /ʊ/, /əʊ/, /i:/ /aɪ/, / /ɑː/, and /iːst/ in complementary distribution. Semendonese committed errors on /ɛ/, /ʌ /, /iː/, /uː/, /ɜː/, stressing word at the first, middle, last, the intonation was in rising and falling intonation, and /iːʧ/, /ʊ/, /əʊ/, /i/, /ɪ/, /ɑːst/ in complementary distribution. Sundanese Semendonese committed errors on /ɛ/, /ʌ /, /iː/, /uː/, /ɜː/, /p/, /v/, stressing word at the first, middle, last, the intonation was in rising and falling intonation, and /iːʧ/, /ʊ/, /əʊ/, /i/, /ɪ/, /ɑːst/ in complementary distribution. In conclusion, Jasengnese, Javanese, Lampungnese, Palembanganese, Semendonese, and Sundanese had problem in long vowel, voiced consonant, stressing word at the first, middle, and last, and falling and rising intonation. They were influenced by age, accent, and mother language in English Phonetics and Phonology was strong enough. Some method and technique can be applied to reduce students’ problem in pronouncing English words.
Implementing an Integrated and Communicative Approach In EFL Poetry Classroom
This study intends to describe the implementation of integrated and communicative approach to teaching poetry. Integrated and communicated approach consist three main activities; pre, while and post activities. This study employed qualitative method with case study approach. The subject of the research is the students of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu who joined poetry class. The finding shows the integrated and communicative approach could be use in teaching poem in EFL class since it is enable the students to comprehend as well as to read aloud and create of poem easier. WORKSHOP RPL KONSELING INDIVIDUAL BERBASIS POP BK SMP/MTs
Workshop on the implementation of POP BK SMP/MTs-based individual counseling services held by MGBK SMP-Banjarbaru City were held with the intention of providing an understanding of the plan for implementing individual counseling services, so that counselor can use the individual counseling service plan properly. This workshop was carried out by presenting the material for the implementation of the service plan and then continued with the simulation of the case study-based manufacture, participants amounted to 38 people. The workshop implementation showed that counselors needed an in-depth understanding to use the plan for implementing individual counseling services as a counselee's initial information
Peer Guidance untuk Mereduksi Perilaku Bullying Pada Remaja Muhammadiyah
Bullying behavior because the victim experiences poverty or physical disability. The impact of bullying is self-esteem and affects maturity in students. School counselors have a role for skills, as well as collaborative efforts with the Peer Guidance approach. The method used in peer guidance training: (1) education, (2) training, (3) forum group discussion, and (4) brainstorming. Peer guidance to train actors to have empathy for the whole individual skills to listen, guide, reflection, conclude, confrontation, interpreating, and support. Peningkatan Keterampilan Sosial Siswa Autis Melalui Teknik Shaping
Social skills in Children with Special Needs are very important. Autistic students who have high social skills will have high self-esteem and are easy to socialize with their environment. However, in reality, many autistic children who have low social skills are found. From this case, it is necessary to have a special treatment that can be started from formal education to improve the social skills of disabled students. One way that can be done by school counselors is using shaping techniques to grow social skills. This study uses the pre-experimental design method. The design of this study uses One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. From the results of the data analysis technique using Wilcoxon signed ranks test, it was found that z-score was -2,366 with a significance level of 0.018, which means there were differences in the results of the pretest and post-test results, where the post-test results were lower than the pre-test results. Thus it can be concluded that effective shaping techniques are used to improve social skills.Keywords: shaping technique, social skills, autistic students
Belajar Matematika Dengan Peta Pikiran Bagi Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP)
Currently, there is a significant effort to improve students' understanding of mathematics, one of them is by teaching students to create an interesting mind map for students, involving students in the process of understanding the material taught, and certainly not boring, because the students are actively involved in the process is an effort in helping students to understand the concept so as to be able to construct knowledge. The learning process by showing the implementation of mind map is expected to change the atmosphere of the learning process which initially tends to be mastered by educators, become more active by applying mind map. This activity is aimed in first grade of the SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pringsewu in the academic year 2016-2017. The result of this activity is that students are able to present the material in mind map interpretation, so that students can construct knowledge creatively, according to what they understand, not just plagiarism of knowledge. So the result of the implementation of this activity is to increase the understanding of mathematical concepts, math problem-solving skills, and learning outcomes.Keywords: Mind Mapping, understanding of mathematical concepts, math problem solving, learning outcome
