Get PDFAbstract Guidance and counseling undergo development which is quite rapid.There has been a shift in the paradigm guidance from traditional approach leads on the approach of the development and comprehensive. In line for the implementation of the guidance and counseling comprehensive a string of has done research that the results show effective for implemented.Along with that some policies the government affirmed a notch evident during the implementation guidance and counseling comprehensive. Required the follow-up to that planned in a comprehensive manner so that this approach can diimplementasi effectively. The implementation guidance and counseling comprehensive should be supported by understanding whole about the concept of development for the school counselor at. Now some way to strengthen the competence of a counselor with various activities as the seminar, workshop and training on the application of the guidance and counseling comprehensive. In the effectiveness of the implementation of the guidance and counseling comprehensive one of them supported by collaboration with relevant parties. Get PDFAbstractThe speech form that communicates imperatively is not only interpreted as command utterances, but also has other meanings of imperative. Especially when a speech communicates indirectly, certainly need to know the hidden imperative. This study illustrates how important to understand the meaning of imperative that contains in various communications, including trading communications in order to obtain the purpose of communication straightly. This study uses qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data was analyzed in depth and then presented straightly. The data of this study is the seller / buyer utterances in Pasarbaru Kedondong Pesawaran District of Lampung Province. The result of this study showed that imperative meaning of contradiction, requests, and suggestions always used in communication and selling. ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL OPERASI HITUNG BILANGAN CACAH
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the type of error that made the students in solving arithmetic operation of natural numbers in the form of addition and subtraction. This study was a descriptive one. The population in this study were all second grade students of SD Negeri 4 Podomoro which numbered 30 people. The samples used were all students of class II because the number of students is less than 100 people. Data collection techniques used in the form of a valid and reliable test. After the test is given, then the results of tests examined and analyzed to determine the type of error that made the students. The analysis showed that the mistakes made by students in solving arithmetic operation of natural numbers such as addition and subtraction . This type of error in the addition operation, the type of basic factual errors summation with a percentage of 35%, the type of random errors with a percentage of 10.02%. This type of error in calculating the reduction of operating natural numbers, that is kind of basic factual errors, with the percentage of 36.58% reduction. Get PDFAbstract The research aims to assess how high the level of education of students creative thinking in problem solving mathematical problems of Real Analysis 2 in terms of learning styles visual, auditory and tactual. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The samples of the research were taken by using the stratified random sampling technique. Data were analyzed based on three indicators to assess the ability of creative thinking of learners in fluency, flexibility and innovation. Results of the study describes how high the level of creative thinking to each student's learning style in solving problems of Real Analysis 2. The conclusion shows that the visual learners "very creative (level 4)",auditory learners"creative enough (level 2)",and tactual learners "creative (level 3)" in solving problems in the Real Analysis 2 STKIP MuhammadiyahPringsewu Lampung Keywords : Creative Thinking, Problem Solving, Learning Styl

Get PDFAbstractLanguage style that used by the writer in his work is thought and feelings which create an aesthetic work. This study aims to describe language style of Soneta’s song lyrics in Emansipasi Wanita album. This album is the XIII albums of Soneta’s group. Method of this study is qualitative descriptive method. Based on analysis result, language style found in the song lyrics of Emansipasi Wanita album is a rhetorical language style and figurative language. Rhetorical language style includes alliteration, assonance, euphemism, periphrasis, hyperbole and oxymoron. Meanwhile, the figurative language includes simile, metaphor, personification and synecdoche. Key Words: Language style, Rhetorical, Figurative, Song Lyric.
PEMBENTUKAN PENGETAHUAN LINGKARAN MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN ASIMILASI DAN AKOMODASI TEORI KONSTRUKTIVISME PIAGET
Get PDFTeachers are still considered the only centers of learning in mathematics, in the sense that only teachers in the delivery of materials that play an active role in the classroom, so that the learning process becomes ineffective. It can be to affect the low students’ result. Efforts are being made to overcome this is to involve students actively and creatively in the process of formation of knowledge. The Piaget’s theory of constructivism assimilation and accommodation is a learning that allows students to be active and critical in the process of learning and allow students to construct their own knowledge based on experience and knowledge they have. The population was all of the students in eight grade of SMP 25 Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2013-2014. The samples of the research were taken by using the cluster random sampling technique. To obtain data through the students’ result in the form of an essay test consists of 5 items, then the data were analyzed using t-test. IMPROVING THE SKILL AND THE INTEREST OF WRITING ADVERTISEMENTS AND POSTERS THROUGH ESA SEQUENCE
Get PDFThe action reserach aims at improving the students’ writing skill especially to write advertsements and posters. Both are the short functional texts to be learned at the second semester. According to the data on pre cycle, the students of second semester got difficulties to write advertisements and posters. A treatment was necessary to help the students overcome their problem. To consider the related literature, the writer decided to implement ESA sequence (Harmer 2001) in the class. The elements of teaching in ESA Sequence are Engage (to arouse the students’ interests), Study (learn the language focus), and Activate (use the language freely and communicatively). The data were taken from the test of the linguistic competence mastery, the students writing, and the questionnaire. The students’ linguistic competence got increased as shown by the score (58 in pre-cycle, 66 in cycle 1, and 70 in cycle 2). The students’ ability to write the short functional texts also get improved as indicated by the average score on writing tasks (53 in pre-cycle, 63 in cycle 1, 72 in cycle 2). The interest also gets better as shown by the score of the questionnaire (22,3 in pre-cycle, 33,5 in cycle 1, and 37 in cycle 2). THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING PICTURES TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ SPEAKING SKILL
Get PDFAbstract The problem of this study was “Is it significantly effective to use pictures to improve students’ speaking skill to the sixth semester students of English Education Study Program at STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau?”. This study was conducted to find out whether it is significantly effective to use pictures to improve students’ speaking skill. There were two hypotheses; null hypotheses (H0) and alternative hypotheses (Ha). The sample of the study was 23 students which were taken through cluster random sampling. Research method of this study was pre-experimental with one group pre-test and post-test design. The writer used speaking test and analyzed the data by using conversion of score range, individual score, and match t-test. Based on the result of data analysis, it was found out that students’ average score in the pre-test was 46.43 and post-test was 60.54. Finally, the results of matched t-test calculation shows that the t-obtain was higher than t-table. The t-obtained was 31.37 while the t-table was 1.717. It means that the null hypotheses (Ho) was rejected and automatically the alternative hypotheses (Ha) was accepted. ANALYSING THE STUDENTS’ GRAMMATICAL ERROR ON WRITING NARRATIVE TEXT
Get PDFAbstract This qualitative study described about grammatical error on students narrative writing. The participants were the second semester students of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung in academic year 2013/ 2014. In collecting data,this study uses forms with general, emerging questions to permit the participant to generate responses. Then, gathering word (text) from the participants, and collecting information from individual of participants. Data analysis tends to consist of text analysis, to involve developing a description and themes, then interpretation tends to sonsist of stating the larger meaning of the findings. After analysing the students writing, it was found that most of mistakes made by students were: missing subject, missing be in simple predicate, wrong simple predicate missing be, superfluous be, misinformation of passive form, the verb comes after the subject, pronoun form, agreement, and reference. TEKNIK ASSERTIVE TRAINING (AT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERILAKU ASERTIF SISWA
Get PDFThis study was conducted based on the problem of low assertive behavior skill. Assertive is a behavior in which person are able to act upon desire. Held the right and not utilized by others. Besides that , going to be assertive means communicating what is expected clearly by respecting personality right and other right. The purpose of the study is to gain the description of effectiveness assertive training technique for improving students’ assertive behavior. This study used quasi-experimental method with non equivalent control group design. The population was students of senior high school Kartika Siliwangi 2 Bandung in academic years 2012/2013. Purposive sampling technique was employed for taking the sample. The result of the study showed that (1) 40,7% students’ assertive behavior profile was in the assertive category and 59,3% was not; (2) assertive training technique was effective to improve students’ assertive behavior; (3) there was no the difference of assertive behavior between male and female students.Keywords: assertive training, assertive behavior
