SMP Pustek Serpong. Kind of the research is experiment quasi research. The
research instrument that used is analysis question pretest and postest. The data
analyze by using normality test, homogenity test, and t-test. The result of the research
show that there is the different ability of cube concept comprehension among
students' who gave air learning model with convensional learning model.

PEER EVALUATION TO TEACH SEMANTICS

Theobjective of this study knows the significance of achievement process in Semanticsclass. The technique of this study is using peer evaluation to conduct semantics class.Method of the study is using classroom action research with questionnaire, test anddocumentation during the semester. WASHBACK OF THE ENGLISH SECTION OF COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAM ON THE STUDENTS’ PRODUCTIVE AND RECEPTIVE SKILLS
Get PDFExam plays a powerful role in educational system and exerts significant washback onstudents’ learning. Washback, the impact of exams on education in general andlanguage examining in particular, has become a popular area of study withineducational research. This paper focuses on the washback effects of college entranceexam on students’ productive and receptive skills in STKIP MuhammadiyahPringsewu Lampung. The main concern of the study was to investigate the impact ofcollege entrance exam on productive and receptive language skills in STKIPMuhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung. 53 first year students at English EducationDepartment in the academic year of 2015-2016 of STKIP Muhammadiyah PringsewuLampung attended the study. A 26-item questionnaire was designed and administeredto 53 students. The data were analyzed using statistical analysis including descriptivestatistics (frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation). It has been found outthat the exam has some negative effects on students’ language productive andreceptive skills on the first year students at English Education Department of STKIPMuhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung. Get PDFProgram implementation is very influential toward service outcome. This study aims to know the similarities or the differences between planning and implementation program by counselor. This study refers to discrepancy model which consist of four stages : (1) design, (2) installation, (3) process, and (4) product. The research subject is counselor of state junior high school 1 Yogyakarta. The result of questionnaire and interview shows that the score is relatively high. ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL-SOAL KESEBANGUNAN
Get PDFThe low student’s learning achievement of mathematics becomes a greatchallenge for an educator. One of the causes of low student learningachievement caused difficulties to affect the student learning to theerrors of students in solving problems congruency. This study aims todetermine the percentage of the mistakes of the student that includesconceptual errors, fault principle, and operation errors in terms ofMinimum Completeness Criteria is 60 with the fault tolerance amaximum of 40%. The population was all of the students in third gradeof the SMP N Satu Atap 2 Negerikaton in the academic year 2014-2015.The samples of the research were taken by 50% from the population.Data acquisition is done by testing with data analysis techniques usingpercentages. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that students'mistakes in solving problems congruency include conceptual errors by57.60%, fault principle by 41.27%, and operation errors by 40.57%.With contributors biggest mistake is a conceptual errors.Keywords : conceptual errors, fault principle, operation error
EFEKTIVITAS METODE INQUIRY TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA

One of the efforts to solvethe problem is use inquiry method, because this method involves thestudents actively and creatively. This study aims to know theeffectiveness of inquiry learning method in the third grade SMP IT AlMunir Sukoharjo on the circle material. The population of this study isall of the third grade students in the even semester SMP IT Al MunirSukoharjo in the academic year 2014-2015 total 230 students. Based onthe findings, it concluded that inquiry method is effective for learningactivity seen from the process and students learning outcome in circlematerial seen from the process include the teacher capability in learningprocess is 76%, students activity is 75%, students response is 77,17%and if seen from learning outcome that achieve Minimum CompletenessCriteria classically is 81,25%.Keywords: inquiry learning method, effectiveness learning mode

IMPROVING THE SKILL AND THE INTEREST OF WRITING ADVERTISEMENTS AND POSTERS THROUGH ESA SEQUENCE
Get PDFThe action reserach aims at improving the students’ writing skill especially to write advertsements and posters. Both are the short functional texts to be learned at the first semester of the ninth grade. According to the data on pre cycle, the students of class IXA Junior High School Swadhipa Natar, South Lampung got difficulties in writing advertisements and posters. A treatment was necessary to help the students overcome their problem. To consider the related literature, the writer decided to implement ESA sequence in the class. The elements of teaching in ESA Sequence are Engage (to arouse the students’ interests), Study (learn the language focus), and Activate (use the language freely and communicatively).The data were taken from the test of the linguistic competence mastery, the students writing, and the questionnaire. THE INFLUENCE OF STUDENTS’ SELF EFFICACY TOWARD THEIR READING ACHIEVEMENT AT SMA SRIJAYA NEGARA PALEMBANG
Get PDFThe formulation of the problem was “Is there any significant influence of students’self efficacy toward their English reading achievement?”. Therefore, the objective ofthis study was to find out whether or not : there is a significant influence of students’sself efficacy toward their English reading achievement. To conduct this studydescriptive quantitative was used. The population of the study consisted of 242students of SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang in the academic year of 2014/2015. Thewriter chose 2 classes of tenth grade students which consisted of 68 students. Thesample was selected by using convinience sampling. The data were collected by usingquestionnaire and test. The data were analyzed by using correlational (spearman rho)and regression analysis. The result showed that there was weak correlation betweenstudents’ self efficacy toward their English reading achievement (r=.399). Theinfluence of students’ self efficacy was 0.219 or 21.9 % to the students’ Englishreading achievement. From the F-test, it can be seen that the F-obtained was 18.472with the significant level p < 0.05 was higher than the value of F-table (F-table = 3.98). Since the F-obtained was higher than F-table, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) wasaccepted and the null hypothesis (H o ) was rejected. So it could be concluded that therewas a significant influence of students’ self efficacy toward their English readingachievement at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang.Keywords : Influence, Self Efficacy, and English Reading Achievemen
