    PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN JUCAMA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF PESERTA DIDIK DITINJAU DARI KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR

    ABSTRAKThe jucama model is thought to increase students’ creativity and independence of learning. The research objectives are (1) knowing the application of the jucama model can improve students’ creative thinking abilities; (2) knowing the learning independence of students can improve the ability to think creatively; and (3) knowing the interaction between the jucama model and learning independence on the students’ creative thinking abilities. The research method used quasy experimental design with pretest-posttest control design. Sampling technique cluster random sampling and hypothesis testing using two-way ANOVA. The results of the study can be concluded: (1) the application of the jucama model can improve students’ creative thinking abilities; (2) there is an influence of learning independence in improving students’creative thinking skills; and (3) there is no interaction between the jucama model and learning independence on the students’ creative thinking abilities.Keywords: jucama, creative thinking, and learning independenceABSTRAKModel Jucama diduga dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ialah (1) mengetahui penerapan model Jucama dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik; (2) mengetahui kemandirian belajar peserta didik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif; dan (3) mengetahui interaksi antara model Jucama dengan kemandirian belajar pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Metode penelitian menggunakan Quasy Experimental dengan desain penelitian  pretest-posttest control design. Teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling dan uji hipotesis menggunakan anava dua jalan. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: (1) penerapan model jucama dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik; (2) Terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik; dan (3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model Jucama dengan kemandirian belajar pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.  Kata Kunci: Jucama, berpikir kreatif, dan kemandirian belaja

    The ability of mathematical reflective thinking is the ability of a person to choose previously owned concepts or knowledge that are relevant or appropriate to be used in making decisions when faced with mathematical problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of mathematical reflective thinking in terms of the sex differences of eighth grade students of SMP N 11 Bandar Lampung. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. Subject collection using purposive random sampling technique. The subjects of this study were 6 students from class VIII A consisting of 3 male students and 3 female students, and 6 students from class VIII B consisting of 3 male students and 3 female students. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and interviews. Based on the results of data analysis from class VIII A obtained the average value of mathematical reflective thinking abilities of male students 67,36 and the average value of mathematical reflective thinking abilities of female students reached 100, while for grade VIII B obtained an average value mathematical reflective thinking ability of male students 52,08 and female students 97,22. Thus it can be concluded that the students 'mathematical reflective thinking ability is better than the male students' reflective thinking ability. Keywords:  Mathematical Reflective Thinking Ability, Gende

    GOOGLE CLASSROOM ON STUDENTS’ WRITING LEARNING PROCESS

    This study is Mix-Method Research applying exploratory design which aims to 1) know that the use of Google Classroom in Writing learning process can arouse students’ learning interest and motivation; 2) know that Google Classroom can be used to improve student’s writing ability. The participants were the forth semester students of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung in academic year 2018/2019. Questionnaire, documentation, and test had been used to collect the data which was then analyzed using phased qualitative—quantitative analysis. The result showed that Google Classroom could encourage students to write, and help them to improve their writing ability. Keywords: Google Classroom, Writing Learning Process.

    The development of the inclusive education system in schools programmed by the Government demands changes in teacher competencies in identifying students including special need children (SNC). In fact, the teacher's ability to identify SNC is still minimal. Therefore, planned training was carried out regarding the identification of SNC. The implementation of this training can improve the ability of teachers to identify special need children. This can be known based on the values of the pretest and posttest. At the pretest the average value was 62, while at the posttest the average score was 79, it can be concluded that the training for identifying children with special needs is still very necessary for all teachers in Indonesia

    Kemampuan guru dalam Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (PKB) guru memegang peranan yang sangat penting. Salah satu bentuk peningkatan kemampuan ini adalah Pendidikan dan latihan profesi guru (PLPG). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengukur tingkat efektifitas PLPG dalam PKB, dan menemukan determinan yang menjadi penentu efektifitas PLPG yaitu: komitmen, kemandirian dan kemampuan berpikir aras tinggi (higher order thinking skill, yang disingkat HOTS) guru. Penelitian ini menjaring data dari 31 orang guru peserta PLPG. Data dikumpulkan menngunakan skala penilaian yang terdiri dari 23 item yang sudah teruji valid dan reliabel. Pengolahan  data  berbantuan SPSS versi 20. Penelitian ini berhasil menemukan bahwa bahwa PLPG efektif dalam PKB guru. Terdapat hanya 1 variabel prediktor yaitu Higher Order Thinking Skills yang menjadi determinan efektivitas PLPG dalam PKB guru. Kedua variabel yaitu: kemandirian dan komitmen guru dikeluarkan dari model ini. Kata Kunci:  Efektivitas, PLPG, Higher Order Thinking Skills, Komitmen, Kemandirian Guru

This research is quasy experiment who took non equivalent pretest and posttest control group design. Sampel of this research are 32 students X class of SMA Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung in the academic years 2017-2018.     The main problem faced by elementary school teachers in Sukamakmur Sub-district, Bogor Regency, to be able to apply learning with a scientific approach is the low quality of LKS used by teachers, so that an effort is needed to design, develop, utilize, and evaluate scientific-based worksheets for SD Sukamakmur Elementary Teachers Bogor Regency, West Java in a community service program. Through community service activities, solutions will be offered for the problems formulated above. The approach offered for the realization of the Community Service program is an empowerment model with the following steps: 1) Preparation Phase; 2) Assessment Phase; 3) Planning or Alternative Program Planning Phase; 4) Formulation Phase of the Action Plan; 5) Implementation Phase (Implementation) Program or Activity; 6) Evaluation Phase; and 7) Termination Phase. This service activity was held in three sessions, Session I was held on July 24, 2018, Session II was held on July 25, 2018 and session II was held on August 25, 2018, which was held in the Hall of PGRI Building, Sukamakmur Sub-District, Bogor Regency. The development of scientific-based worksheets has succeeded in increasing the ability of elementary school teachers to make worksheets, seen by the increase in the value of the product before and after the LKS construction took place. Elementary teachers who obtain a score of 60 or more in the initial LKS floating product increase to 84% in the final product of the LKS mining activity is completed. The development of scientific-based LKS is felt to be very beneficial for participants in an effort to improve the quality of the process and learning outcomes

    KEMAMPUAN MENULIS HASIL OBSERVASI DALAM BENTUK PARAGRAF DESKRIPSI

    The result of preliminary research in SMA N 1 Air Naningan showed that students tenth class ability in writing paragraph have difficulties in determining topic, producing and developing frame of thinking, error in spelling Indonesian language. Objective of this research is to know students’ ability in writing paragraph observation result in writing descriptive paragraph. Methodology of research used is descriptive. The data analysis used was essay test which is measured by using the formula which related to the assessment indicator. The result of the research showed percentage score 67 from average score of students’ abilities at eight grade of first semester at SMA N I Air Naningan Tanggamus in the academic years 2017-2018 was enough categorized.  The students of SMAN 1 Air Naningan’s ability in writing descriptive text was categories as enough because they were not  enthusiasm to read the books which were related to descriptive text, uninterested media and method used by the teacher in the learning process, and limit reference which was available in the library.

    PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA (LKS) BERNUANSA ISLAMI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

    AbstractThe purpose of the research is to find out the feasibility of the contextual approach LKS in mathematics learning both by teachers and students. This type of research uses research and development (R & D) with the steps used. The steps taken are limited to seven stages, due to time constraints so the steps of the research according to Sugiono are not fully implemented. Sampling was carried out by MTs Assa'adah Cicurug. Data collection techniques were carried out using student response questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires. From the response test the teacher got a score of 3.57 with very interesting criteria. Then the field trial from the school conducted by the students' questionnaire responses obtained an average score of 3.4 with the number of students testing at MTs Assa'adah 32 with very interesting criteria. The results of the validation of material experts obtained an average score of 3.27 with good criteria. Validation of media experts gained an average score of 3.23 with good criteria. Validation of Islamic scholars gained an average score of 3.13 with good criteria. It can be concluded that Islamic LKS with contextual approach to SPLDV material is categorized as very feasible and interesting to be used in learning at the eighth grade junior high school / MTs level.Keywords: LKS has an Islamic nuance, Contextual, SPLD

    Efektivitas Layanan Konseling Kelompok dalam Meningkatkan Empati Siswa

    The purpose of this study was to determine whether group counseling was effective in increasing student empathy. The type of research used was pre-experiment with type one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students of class X.1 of SMAN 1 Padang Ganting who were registered in the 2017/2018 school year, the sampling technique used to determine the sample was purposive sampling technique that is with certain considerations, consideration of researchers is students who are identified lacking empathy and not empathy with a sample size of 10 people. The results showed that group counseling had a significant effect on increasing student empathy. This is evidenced by the increase in the posttest score after being given treatment through group counseling. This means that t0 ttt so that Ha which states group counseling is effective in increasing student empathy is significantly accepted, and H0 which states that group counseling is not effective in increasing student empathy is rejected
