Get PDFAggressive behavior becomes a classic problem that still occurs today. One technique of changing behavior, especially aggression in students is to apply anger management training. Activities that train students to manage anger is composed of eight meetings by using counseling, training, and FGD. Anger management can train students in regulating emotions so that students are able to learn to minimize aggressive behavior. This activity can provide advice for counselors, counselors should train students in carrying out the anger management to enable them to regulate their emotions and the emotions of students not terluap in the form of aggressive behavior when they deal with certain situations
Niche Konselor di Indonesia dalam Pendidikan Formal
Get PDFAbstract: This article describes and discusses (1) understanding of "niche", (2) niche counselor in Indonesia, (3) niche counselor on formal education, (4) niche counselor "to come" in Indonesia. Constraints to realize the role of school counselors, among others, principals and subject teachers who do not understand the function of guidance and counseling. Many school counselors who are not graduates of Guidance and Counseling but are merely odd or functional. Many and almost average in school School counselors do not have adequate facilities to work ideally, so the counselor's performance is less than optimal. School counselors are not considered important by students and educational components in schools. To overcome these obstacles required the participation of both governments, ABKIN, own counselor, and community environment, especially the school environment. From the counselor and the institution that shelter it needs to show good performance and from other components need to give trust and opportunity to the counselor to show its performance.Keywords: Niche, Counselor, Formal Educatio
INTEGRASI TERAPI SANDTRAY DENGAN PENDEKATAN KONSELING BERFOKUS SOLUSI PADA ANAK YANG MENGALAMI TRAUMA
Get PDFTraumatic experience makes a person unhappy and often overwhelmed with excessive fear. They need counseling for relieving the symptoms of the traumatic experienced. Sandtray therapy is a therapeutic technique that utilizes the sandtray as a medium in the therapeutic process. Integration sandtray therapy with solution focused brief counseling approach can help traumatized children to become more adaptive to the symptom of trauma and the purpose of counseling is to increase the resilience. Counselors use questioning techniques to help children traumatized by sandtray therapy with a solution focused approach with the aim of finding exceptions and setting of goals of counseling by the client to overcome the symptom of trauma. Trauma therapy model by integrating solution focused brief counseling with sandtray therapy that consists of creating stabiltas sense of security, reconstructing the trauma story and improve relations with the society

The aim of research to find out the deals utterances used by hawkers at Pangandaran Beach, knowing offers a variety of language used by hawkers at Pangandaran Beach, and knowing use of vocabulary that deals used by hawkers at Pangandaran Beach. This study used a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is descriptive and analytical. The data used in this research is data in the form of a variety of language associated with language diversity offers Pangandaran beach hawkers. The results of the study deals buying and selling a variety of language, which is rarely done because of language preservation demands an understanding of the other person.
IDENTIFIKASI KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MATEMATIKA POKOK BAHASAN PELUANG
Get PDFAbstractThe purpose of this study is that researchers want to better identify students' mathematical creative thinking abilities in solving mathematical problems on the subject of opportunity. This research is a descriptive research conducted at STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung, with data analysis used is descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative. The subjects of this study are students who take basic statistics courses in the academic year 2016-2017. The result of the analysis of the ability of mathematical creative thinking in this study obtained the average value of the smoothness of the aspect reached 65.24; The average aspect of flexibility score reached 45.83; and the average aspect elaboration value reached 66.67. Thus the level of students' mathematical creative ability in the subject of opportunity is still low because the new score is 59.26.Keywords : mathematical creative thinking skills, problem solvin

Get PDFThe objectives of this study are to develop teaching aids, to test the validity and practically teaching aids, and to test the effectiveness of learning process using CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending) model with metacognitive approach to improve the ability in Geometri problem solving. This research and development design is adapted from Plomp model by using several phases: (1) preliminary investigation; (2) design; (3) realization/construction; (4) test, evaluation and revision. This study developed some teaching aids; a part of syllabus, lesson plan, students book, students’ work sheet, and test of problem solving ability. The subject of the try out is eighth graders of MTs NU Nurul Huda Kudus. The research data to test the validity, practically, and effectiveness are collected by: (1) validation sheet; (2) observation sheet; (3) problem solving test. The results of research showed that development teaching aids using CORE model with metacognitive approach for Geometry material of VIII grade is valid and practical, and learning CORE model with metacognitive approach for Geometry material of VIII grade is effective
THE USE OF RIDDLES GAME TO TEACH SPEAKING TO THE STUDENTS
Get PDFThe objective of this study was to find out whether or not it was significantly effective to use Riddles Game to teach speaking at the eleventh grade students. The method applied was pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample was 29 students which taken through cluster random sampling. The writer used oral test as technique for collecting the data. The data obtained were analyzed through four techniques : (1) The mean students’ score in the pre-test was 56.25, (2) The mean students’ score in the post- test was 75.96, (3) The result of normality test in the pre-test was 6.79 and in the post-test was 8.73 and (4) The result of matched t-test was 7.61, which was higher than 1.701 value of the table with the degree of freedom (29-1) 28 with 5% signficant level for one tailed test. So, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It means that, it was sigificantly effective to use Riddles Game to teach speaking
USING LOCAL TASTES IN ELT CLASSROOMS TO PROMOTE LEARNERS’ NATIONALISM

Teaching English since elementary school has lots of advantages for the language learners. The students will be native like if they learn English as early as possible. Their pronunciation will be more native like rather than the adult because they have not exceeded the critical period. By using the local taste in teaching English, the students will be able to promote their local taste in international world. Pelatihan Manajemen Bencana Bagi Anggota Padjadjaran Nursing Corps (PNC)
No full textThe high and varied disasters occur in Indonesia, requiring the government and the whole community to be ready for disaster. In the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), there is a group of students who do extracurricular activities to provide health aid called PNC. Training needs to be done to enhance the role of PNC as well as increasing the participation of students in the disaster relief program. This training resulted in increased knowledge and attitudes of PNC members on disaster management, and also increased the knowledge and attitude related to the role and function of students in disaster management effort. In addition, other additional results related to the effectiveness of training methods for PNC members successfully obtained. The methods compared were lecture and discussion (LD) compared with LD plus simulation and FGD methods. It is measured by using the quasi experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. Data analysis used Mann Whitney test. The result showed that there was no difference in knowledge and attitude (p = 1,000) in both treatment groups (p = 0,424).
