Posmodernisme dalam Cerpen “Di Tempatmu Berbaring Sekarang” Karya Aan Mansyur
Get PDFAbstractThis study is an analysis of short story written by Aan Manshur entitled "Di Tempatmu Berbaring Sekarang" which is identical to postmodernist fiction. The analysis leads to identification that paving the way for repertoires on a strategy of ontological emphasis marking the starting point of postmodern fiction. Referring to the beginning of postmodernism, there are criteria of postmodern fiction, in form of words category, construction, words, and foundations. The literary text can be fully understood only through the application of a three-dimensional model: (1) the dimension of speech and position, (2) the dimension of meaning and reference, and, (3) the dimension of the organized text. In this case, the three sequences are reversed, the world categories inferred from an organized dimension of text; the categories of words inferred from dimensions of meaning and reference, and the construction categories inferred from a dimension of speech and position.Keywords: postmodernism, ontological, epistemological, Brian McHale

Get PDFAbstract: This study aims to describe: (1) the level of creative thinking of MTs. on a flat wake student gender male, (2) the level of creative thinking of MTs. on a flat wake student gender female. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research, where the subjects were taken using purposive sampling technique. The subjek of this study were 6 students with details of 3 male students and 3 female students. This study uses data analisys technique triangulation of sources that is by reducing data, presenting data, and draw conclusions. The result of this study are: (1) the level of creative thinking of MTs students on the wake of flat student gender male is at level one (less creative); and (2) the level of creative thinking of MTs students on the wake of flat student gender female is at zero level (not creative).Keywords : Level of creative thinking, Gender, Flat Wak
PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MELALUI PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL DENGAN GAYA BELAJAR VAK (VISUAL AUDITORY KINESTETIK)

To find out the average difference in learning outcomes of students learning mathematics using a contextual approach to the learning style VAK (Visual Auditory Kinesthetic) with a direct approach, 2). Knowing the average results of applied mathematics learning with contextual approach VAK learning styles (Visual Auditory Kinesthetic) higher than the average results of students' mathematics learning approach is applied directly to the material of linear equations. The population of this study was all students in grade X MA Al-Hidayah. For data analysis was performed using the formula t-test for normally distributed samples.The conclusions of the research were as follows that the average results of students 'mathematics learning gained through the application of contextual learning style approach VAK (Visual Auditory Kinesthetic) higher than the average of students' mathematics learning outcomes obtained through the direct approach.Keyword : Contextual approach, VAK (Visual Auditory Kinesthetic
PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STAD PADA MATERI BARISAN DAN DERET BILANGAN
Get PDFThis study aims to find an effective learning strategy in teaching mathematics for grade 4 Pringsewu IX.4 Junior High School in the school year 2012/2013 by enabling students in learning activities by using STAD learning model. Expected strategies that emphasize group work is able to cultivate the spirit of student learning. Which is the subject of the study of this class action is graders IX.4 SMP Negeri 4 Pringsewu in the school year 2012/2013, while the object is learning materials sequences and series numbers are taught with STAD model. This classroom action research conducted through three cycles and at each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Increasing mastery of this material from the first cycle of students can be increased by 25.71% from the initial conditions, conditions in the first cycle after the action on the second cycle increased by 2.8%. While the conditions in the second cycle after the action in the third cycle increased by 8.73%. From the results of this class action, the researchers recommend the math teacher to teach the material sequence and series by using STAD learning model
TECHNIQUES IN TEACHING VOCABULARY AT THE FIRST GRADE SD CITRA BANGSA SCHOOL PRINGSEWU
Get PDFAbstract This study reports on research results aimed at investigating the techniques used by a teacher and techniques employed implemented to be teach vocabulary to students, as well as students’ responses in employing those techniques. Interview, observation, and documentation were carried out to collect the data. The findings indicate that the teacher applied various techniques with various responses in teaching vocabulary. In teaching vocabulary, the teacher mostly employed Repetition drill, vocabulary networks, guess the word, guess the picture, and sing a song. It is relevant to procedure of techniques in teaching English vocabulary. Most of the students of first grade give positive response, they were very enthusiastic and motivated by the techniques used by the teacher. COLLEGE POLICY EFFECTS ON STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION IN LEARNING ENGLISH AS A SUPPLEMENTARY SUBJECT
Get PDFAbstract This research aimed to investigate college policy effects on students’ motivation in learning English as a supplementary subject. The research was conducted at two colleges which applied different policies in English language teaching as a supplementary subject. There were 2 classes from each of the colleges. The overall samples were 40 college students who were chosen through systematic sampling method. They derived from 4 different classes. Each of the classes consisted of 10 samples. The result showed that there was a significant difference in student attendance at the two colleges. It implies that college policy significantly affects students’ motivation in learning English. No full textWe often found emergency condition on children in elementary school which can lead death. Teachers should have good knowledge and favorable attitude toward first aid so they can give right intervention on emergency condition. The objective of this activity was to improve attitude and knowledge of elementary school teachers toward it. This activity be held on training program includes lecture, discussion, and practice. Result showed there was any improvement of elementary school teachers’ attitude and knowledge score. PELATIHAN MEMBAWAKAN ACARA DAN BERPIDATO PADA APARAT PEKON WAYAKRUI BANYUMAS PRINGSEWU
Get PDFMany staff of Wayakrui Banyumas, Pringsewu could not deliver agenda and speech well. In delivering agenda, they got difficulties in selecting effective sentence, intonation, and performing agende in front of the audience. Moreover the problem occured in speech are speech ability sistematically, sentence use, and the ability in developing speech content. This dedication aims to assist village staff in order to be able in delivering agenda and speech well. The method used in this services are (1) preparing: observing activity in the location, discussing with the village staff, preparing training material, and facility; (2) action: delivering material about master of ceremony and speech, then practicing both of them; (3) evaluation: giving feed back of training acitivty. The service result shows that 80% of staff in Wayakrui Banyumas are motivated and they are able to deliver agende and speech well. Keywords: Speech, Master of Ceremon

Get PDFAbstract: This study is a descriptive study aimed at identifying the confidence level of club X football athletes in Padang City in preparation for the match with a sample of 20 athletes. Instruments in this study using the Athletes confidence scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis using percentage technique. A description of the research results found that the level of trust of soccer athletes, in general, are in the medium and high category. Judging from the aspect of self-confidence is located in the high category, the positive thinking aspect, in general, is in the category of being, on the aspects of utilizing the advantages, in general, are in the high category. This study illustrates the overall condition of confidence is more dominant in the medium and high category but still exist in the low and very low category. So it is expected to need optimization efforts confident athletes soccer team to play with more optimal at the next game. These efforts can be prepared personally or with the help of a dedicated professional who has psychological athlete's psychological expertise such as motivators or sports counselors or specialized trainers who can contribute to improving athlete's confidence.Keywords: Self Confidence, Soccer Matc
