NOVEL CANDHIKALA KAPURANTA SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF PENYELESAIAN DEHUMANISASI PADA ERA INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT)
AbstractThis study aims to describe the cultural value in Candhikala Kapuranta novel as an alternative to dehumanization settlement in IoT era. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The data source used is Candhikala Kapuranta's novel by Sugiarto Sriwibawa. Data collection techniques used is the technique of referring note, while the technique of data analysis using interactive analysis techniques. Based on the research that has been done, the results of his research as follows. First, the cultural values in Candhikala Kapuranta's novel include religious values and social values. Second, dehumanization in the IoT era is individualism, pornography, and intolerance. MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA
This study aims to determine the difference in the mean learning outcomes of mathematics students through model of problem-based learning with the mean mathematics student learning outcomes through the model jigsaw cooperative, and which is higher than both. The population of this study is all students of class VII Mts Miftahul Ulum Gisting which amounted to 56 students. The Sample of this research is the class VII.2 amounted to 23 students as experimental class and class VII.1 amounted to 23 students as control class. Based on the result of hypothesis testing, there are differences in mean learning outcomes between the empirical class and control class, and the average learning outcome of the experimental class is higher than the control class. PENGARUH MODEL OPEN ENDED TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA SMP
Abstract: The research problem is related to students' mathematical problem solving ability and application of Open Ended model. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of Open Ended model on mathematical problem solving ability of grade VIII SMP students. Research using experimental method. Data analysis using parametric statistics. Research population of all students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Candipuro Lampung Selatan, the sample is taken 2 classes, namely VIII A as experimental class and VIII C as a control class taken using Cluster Random Sampling technique. Mathematical problem solving ability is measured with essay test of 5 questions. Hypothesis testing uses t-test, with t value = 9,07. At significance level 5% known tdaf = 2.00 means thit > tdaf that is 9.07> 2.00, so it is concluded "There is influence of applying of Open Ended model to mathematical problem solving ability of student of class VIII Semester Even SMP Negeri 1 Candipuro Lampung Selatan Lesson Year 2017/2018 ". AUTHENTICITY OF TEACHER’S MADE ASSESSMENT IN YOUNG LEARNER PROGRAMMES
This study aimed to investigate the authenticity of teacher’s made assessment in elementary schools in Kabupaten Pesawaran. The research design for this study was Descriptive qualitative method. It involved 3 English teachers. The data were collected through documentation, and questionnaires which were analyzed qualitatively. The result of data analysis showed that teachers’ assessment planning, assessment implementation as perceived by teachers and students didn’t provide completely. The teachers used traditional type of assessment such as multiple choice tests instead of authentic assessment. The limited knowledge and facilities became the problem of English teacher at elementary school in Pesawaran to implement authentic assessment.
DIALOGUE JOURNALS AS A COLLABORATIVE LEARNING TECHNIQUE (CoLT) FOR TEACHING WRITING
Learning writing is useful not only for developing students’ writing skill but also for improving their English skills. This study was intended to know that Dialogue Journal is effective to teach writing. This study is a quasi-experimental. Based on the data analysis, it was found that in pre-test, there were 20 % students who active in group activity and 23 % got excellent to very good score. Meanwhile, in post-test, the students who got excellent to very good score were 43%, and 73% students were active in group activity. It indicates that Dialogue Journal is effective to teach writing
PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT JATINANGOR: PEDULI KEGAWATDARURATAN JANTUNG – SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST
There are many cases of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in the community that cannot be rescued, because they did not get the proper and fast action due to ignorance and incompetence of the community. The purpose of this training was increasing the knowledge, attitudes, intentions, and abilities of the community in identifying and handling SCA in Cileles Village, Jatinangor District. The community service activities were integrated with student’s KKN activities. This activity was carried out starting from the initial assessment related to the CPR ability of the community, socialization to KKN students, preparation of materials and learning media, the implementation of socialization and training activities for the community, and also this evaluation. At the implementation stage, 33 training participants participated. Pre-test and post-test measurements were carried out with the response rate as much as 90.9%. As much as 53.3% of respondents had never received information about cardiac arrest, and 93.3% had never received information about CPR before. After training, the respondents' average knowledge score was 75.7. On the attitude aspect, before training, 90% of respondents supported the implementation of CPR and after training, 96.7% of participants supported the implementation of CPR. Meanwhile, before the training, no participants intended to do CPR if they found victims of SCA, but 100% of participants intended to do CPR after training. There was an increase in knowledge, attitudes, and community intentions related to the handling of cardiac emergencies, especially cardiac arrest. This was an indication that CPR will be carried out by respondents if they found victims of SCA. Similar training needs to be conducted periodically to prevent the decline in knowledge or skills related to CPR actions.Keywords: Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Kegawatdaruratan, Sudden Cardiac Arrest
Layanan Konseling Kelompok dengan Menggunakan Pendekatan Cognitive Behavioral untuk Membentuk Internal Locus of Control
Internal locus of Control needs to be owned by every individual, including students. Individuals who oriented in internal locus of control will believe that they have a major role to influence events related to their lives. A strategy that can be used to forming internal locus of control is group counseling by using cognitive behavioral approach. The purpose of this research was to reveal the effectiveness of group counseling by using cognitive behavioral approach in forming internal locus of control. This research was experimental research with pretest and post-test control group design. The sample had been chosen by using purposive sampling. The instrument that had been used was Internal Rotters’ inventory -External Locus of Control (I-E Scale). Data were analyzed by using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Samples. The findings of this research were: (1) there was a difference of locus of control in experimental group students before and after being treated; (2) there was a difference of locus of control in control group before and after being treated; and (3) there was a difference in students’ locus of control in experiment and control group.Keywords: group counseling, cognitive behavioral, internal locus of control
Perilaku Phubbing Sebagai Karakter Remaja Generasi Z
Preparing for the Z generation born and growing in the 21st century is clearly different from earlier generations. The various challenges of the times existed as though demanding renewal and acceleration in all aspects of life. Including one of them is in the field of communication technologies such as smartphones. The offer of modernity given also has a negative impact that is quite alarming. One of them is the emergence of the term phubbing as an indication of Z generation addiction to the smartphone makes a teenager willing to hurt the people around him with a nonchalant and more focused on the smartphone in his hand. Meanwhile, in terms of guidance and counselling, CBT approach is an appropriate therapy and can be used by a counsellor to overcome the phubbing behaviour. With the reduction of phubbing behaviour thanks to existing efforts, it is expected that teenagers' social awareness can be further improved.Keywords: Generation Z, Phubbing, Cognitive Behaviour Teraphy
Penguatan Karakter Anak Usia Dini Melalui Bimbingan dan Konseling
The existence of Early Childhood Education is not only so that children are better prepared to learn at the elementary school level but so that children get intellectual, social, and emotional stimuli according to their age level. The existence of guidance and counseling in the Age of Education is needed because many problematic behaviors arise in students when they are adults caused by their past childhood. The main purpose of holding guidance and counseling in Early Childhood Education is to anticipate or take preventive action against the emergence of problematic behavior. DEVELOPING ENGLISH MATERIAL FOR NURSING STUDENTS
This research aims to develop the learning material based on the KKNI curriculum and need analysis. This research belongs to research and develoment (RND). The population and sample in this research were the sixth semester nursing students of STIKES Muhammadiyah Kudus. This research concluded that 1) the learning material must be created based on KKNI curriculum and need analysis to prepare the students in the work field, 2) the material needs to increase not only English skill but also nursing skill, 3) the use of learning material that has been developed in the experimental group shows significant different from the control group
