    The purpose of this research is to develop a valid and reliable measuring tool to determine the addiction to social media of high school students. 30 students participated in this study from high school students. Item items can be said to be valid or valid if they have a value at a significant level of 5%, with r table = 0.361, df = N-2, on 30 students. So it can be concluded that of all the above items, all declared valid and valid, because all the items have. Statistical analysis shows that this scale is valid and reliable enough to be used to determine the social media addiction of high school student

    3T areas are the areas most in need of development in all areas. This area is generally in the form of archipelago areas, such as those found in Sumenep regency of eastern Java province that in fact most of its territory in the form of kepuauan. In this 3t area, transportation, communication and education facilities are lacking. Compounded also with the difficulty to mendapakan educators because the duty has a very alarming situation. In this research using qualitative approach with research subject that is teacher which duty in archipelago giligenting Sumenep regency, Madura.     PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

    Abstrak Match is one subject which has important role in daily live. In implementing of learning by using drill method, the students have better level in understanding the material. It caused the students have the experience and routine practice in understanding match concepts for themselves even it has done individually or in group. The formulation of problem of in this research is how students score in drill method implementation? This research objective is to describe implementation of drill method in correction and function materials and to know characteristic of KKM students score. This research is action research. The subject of research is students of VIII-5 SMP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung Kabupaten Pringsewu. Based on the result of analysis data in cycle 1, the result of students score was 34,38%. Whereas students score in cycle 2 improved with score 53,12%, so the improving was 87,5%. Based on KKM percentage result it can be determined completely and it can conclude that students score of VIII-5 SMP Muhamamdiyah Pringsewu Lampung improved in using drill method.     Calculus is one of the subjects that must be taken by students majoring in mathematics education at the Teachers' Training College Siliwangi, this course is given to students in semester 4. From the analysis of learning obstacle, it can be seen that almost all mahsaiswa have difficulty learning in a calculus course. This is because the factors that influence in solving the problems given by the researchers. From the test results can also be seen the answer given by many students who make mistakes, be it in using formulas, operating, to answer directly without a process and students can not memjawab about a given test. These difficulties lead to poor results. It can be concluded that mahsiwa not been able to understand the material given or students only attend learning without any understanding of the material provided

    PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL ASSURE PADA MATERI LOGARITMA

    ABSTRACTTeacher centered learning patterns cause drowsiness, lack of enthusiasm, and many who do not pay attention.This lack of learning innovation is thought to cause low student learning outcomes.To overcome this problem, one of them is by applying the ASSURE model. The purpose of this study is to find out (1) there are differences in the average student mathematics learning outcomes with learning using the ASSURE model with students' mathematics learning outcomes with direct learning models. (2) the average mathematics learning outcomes of students who learn using the ASSURE model are higher than students whose learning uses direct learning. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the statistical test t, because the data is homogeneous and comes from a population that is normally distributed. From the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that there are differences in the average student learning outcomes using ASSURE model learning with direct learning and the average learning outcomes of the ASSURE model is higher than the direct learning model.Keywords: ASSURE Learning Model, Learning Outcome

    THE EFFECT OF USING ANDROID APPLICATION IN TEACHING PRONUNCIATION

    The research aim was to know the effect of English Pronunciation: Speak/ Pronounce English™ toward the students’ pronunciation. This study is pre-experimental design.  The sample was 35 students from English for Nurse 1 class of STIKes Aisyah Pringsewu. Instrument used to test  the competencies  is using 126 words from the minimal pairs poem entitled “English is Tough Stuff”. It had progress based on the data that the χ ̅ of correct words in pretest, 40.35, it is increasing in post-test, χ ̅ 116.     HOW DO STUDENTS LEARN WRITING EASILY

    This CAR intends to improve students’ writing ability. The data were collected through questionnaire, observation, and documents. Assembling the data, coding the data, comparing the data, building meanings and interpretations, and  reporting the outcomes were the steps to analyze the data. The result showed that there was improvement on stdents’ writing ability, that was in cycle 1, the mean score was 63.28, and  70.97 in cycle 2.  The questionnaire data was also showed that 47% students strongly agreed and 33% of them agreed that Collaborative Writing Technique could encourage them to write and help them to improve their writing ability

    Field findings indicate that many underachiever children have low social skills, one of which is found in Nambak Bungkal Elementary School Ponorogo. Low social skills, seen from the lack of ability to cooperate, lack of ability to adapt, have not been able to interact positively, have not been able to control themselves, have not been able to develop an attitude of empathy for friends, do not have the ability to obey the rules, and have not been able to respect others. From this case, this study aims to improve the social skills of underachiever children. Strategies to improve social skills in this study through the use of fairy tale ATM media. This research design uses a quantitative approach, precisely quasi-experiment. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling. The results of the study are seen from the data analysis using Wilcoxon questions showing Z value of -2.207 with p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) of 0.027 which is less than the critical limit of the study of 0.05 so the hypothesis is to accept H1 or meaning there are significant differences between pretest and posttest groups, meaning that there is an increase in underachiever students' social skills. This proves that the Fairy Tale ATM media can be used as a service medium to help improve the underachiever's social skills. From the results of this study, it is expected that Counselors can collaborate with classroom teachers in providing treatment to students with special needs to optimize the potential possessed by students. ABSTRAKTemuan dilapangan menunjukan bahwa banyak anak underachiever yang memiliki keterampilan social rendah, salah satunya terdapat di SD Negeri Nambak Bungkal Ponorogo. Keterampilan social rendah, terlihat dari kurangnya kemampuan bekerjasama, kurang mampu menyesuaikan diri, belum mampu berinteraksi secara posistif, belum mampu mengontrol diri, belum mampu mengembangkan sikap empati terhadap teman, belum memiliki kemampuan dalam menaati aturan, serta belum mampu menghargai orang lain. Dari kasus tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan sosial anak underachiever. Strategi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dalam penelitian ini melalui pemanfaatan media ATM dongeng. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif, tepatnya quasi-eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian dilihat dari analisa data menggunakan perhitingan wilcoxon menunjukan nilai Z sebesar -2,207 dengan p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) sebesar 0,027 di mana kurang dari batas kritis penelitian 0,05 sehingga keputusan hipotesis adalah menerima H1 atau yang berarti terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara kelompok pretest dan posttest, artinya terdapat peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa underachiever. Hal ini membuktikan jika media ATM Dongeng terbukti dapat digunakan sebagai media layanan untuk membantu meningkatkan keterampilan social siswa underachiever. Dari hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan Konselor dapat berkolaborasi dengan Guru kelas dalam memberikan treatment pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus untuk mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa.

    The research aimed to describe the problems solving level of students math education study program STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung in the academic year of 2018-2019 in solving the convergence of sequences and series of real numbers on the advanced calculus subject.  Data analysis techniques were used to analyze the results of students' answers in achieving the indicators of problem solving skills. The result obtained the phase of understanding the problems in the amount of 86%, the phase of choosing the right strategy to overcome the problems was 69%, the process of solving the problem correctly and systematically was 45%, the phase of re-examining the precision The results showed that the ability of students to understand the problem was very good, the ability of students to choose the right strategy to solve good problems, the ability of students to solve problems correctly and systematically enough, and the ability of students to re-check the accuracy of the strategy chosen and the truth of problem solving still very les

    This study aims to describe students' perceptions of social media - Instagram in learning English, especially writing. This research is a type of qualitative research conducted on even semester students of the English study program at STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu, Lampung. The data collection technique in this study uses questionnaires and structured interviews. Data analysis uses Interactive Model which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.
