Child Protection Law in the Family and Social Environment reviewed from Law Number 35 of 2014 (The Impact of Bullying Cases in Early Childhood on their Social Life)
Abstrak: Body shamming is an activity of shouting, criticizing and ridiculing other people in the form of words that cause other people to feel inferior. Body shamming in early childhood is not the same as in the case of teenagers. Body shamming that is done to children is usually in the form of ridicule which can make a child lose self-confidence. There are several types of body shamming perpetrated by one child on another such as differences in skin color, hair type and body shape. This research is qualitative with a case study approach. The sample used in this study were 3 children with an age range of 5-6 years from 3 different schools. The data collection technique used was observation of children's behavior at school, in-depth interviews with class teachers and direct interaction between researchers and children using storytelling activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is the technique proposed by Milles and Huberman. This research contributes to the effects of body shamming by fellow children on other children. This research provides information that bullying by body shaming has a long-term impact if efforts are not made early on.
This study examines the implementation of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection within family and social environments, with a particular focus on the impact of bullying cases on the social life of early childhood. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews with parents, teachers, and child protection officers, as well as document analysis of related legal and social reports. The results reveal that although the legal framework in Indonesia provides comprehensive protection for children, its implementation at the community and family levels remains limited due to a lack of awareness and preventive education. Findings indicate that early childhood victims of bullying tend to experience social withdrawal, low self-confidence, and difficulty forming peer relationships. However, the study also found that strong parental involvement, school-based empathy programs, and community collaboration significantly reduce the long-term social impact of bullying. The research highlights the urgent need to strengthen family legal literacy and intersectoral coordination between educational institutions and child protection agencies to realize the substantive goals of Law Number 35 of 2014
Analisis Pengendalian Kualitas Terhadap Jenis Kecacatan Produksi Produk Granit
Multidisciplinary Management Approaches for Hydrocephalus and Cleft Lip Palate in Pediatric Patients
Hydrocephalus and cleft lip and palate (CLP) are congenital abnormalities that significantly impact a child's health and development. Hydrocephalus results from impaired cerebrospinal fluid circulation, which increases intracranial pressure and can lead to brain damage. CLP is caused by a failure of facial tissue fusion during the embryonic period, which disrupts speech, eating, and facial aesthetics. This study used a qualitative descriptive literature review method to describe the multidisciplinary management of both conditions.
The review results indicate that hydrocephalus is generally treated with a ventriculoperitoneal shunt or endoscopic third ventriculostomy, while CLP requires surgical correction (cheiloplasty and palatoplasty) accompanied by speech therapy, orthodontics, and psychological support. It can be concluded that interdisciplinary collaboration is crucial for improving clinical outcomes and patient quality of life. Further research is recommended to assess the long-term effectiveness and the relationship between genetic and environmental factors in the occurrence of these two disorders
Identifying Gaps in Literature Related to Empowering Leadership on Individual Work Performance
Empowering leadership is increasingly recognized for enhancing individual work performance by delegating authority, autonomy, and participation in decision making. A synthesis of studies published between 2019 and 2024 indicates generally positive associations—particularly with task and contextual performance—and reduced counterproductive behavior, though effects vary across contexts. Key gaps remain: (1) under-specified mediating mechanisms (e.g., engagement, job crafting, relational energy, psychological empowerment) and their potential serial ordering; (2) insufficient tests of multilevel moderators, including culture, individual differences, job design, and hybrid/remote arrangements; (3) outcome heterogeneity, especially for innovative and adaptive performance and counterproductive behaviors; and (4) methodological issues (measurement invariance, publication bias, and the dominance of cross-sectional designs) that limit causal inference. Priority directions include longitudinal and diary designs, rigorous tests of moderated mediation across industries and cultures, instrument standardization, and identification of optimal empowerment levels to prevent benefits from turning into burden. This research consolidates current evidence and maps a focused research agenda
A Study on the Interaction of Digital Self-Efficacy and Peer Conformity in the Intention to Use ChatGPT Among High School Students
This study aims to examine the relationship between digital self-efficacy and peer conformity with the intention to use ChatGPT among high school students. The research employed a quantitative method using multiple regression analysis. The participants consisted of 299 high school students selected through stratified random sampling. The analysis results revealedthat digital self-efficacy had a direct and significant relationship with the intention to use ChatGPT (t = 5.305; p < 0.001), contributing an effective value of 19.9%. Peer conformity also showed a direct and significant relationship (t = 18.812; p < 0.001) with an effective contribution of 70.6%. Simultaneously, digital self-efficacy and peer conformity were significantlyrelated to the intention to use ChatGPT (F = 279.331; p < 0.001) with an R square value of 65.4%. These findings indicate that among high school students, peer conformity contributes more strongly to the intention to use ChatGPT compared to digital self-efficacy
THE ROLE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVES IN DEVELOPING LEARNERS SOCIO-EMOTIONAL COMPETENCIES: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
This study examines the role of psychological perspectives in developing students’ social emotional competence through a systematic review of literature published in the last five years. Findings indicate that psychology-based interventions such as emotion regulation training, empathy development, and prosocial behavior facilitation effectively enhance students’ abilities to recognize and manage emotions adaptively. These programs also improve social skills, peer interactions, and reduce anxiety levels within educational settings. Overall, the study highlights the importance of integrating psychological principles into educational practices to promote students’ well-being and sustainable social emotional growth
The Role of Emotional Regulation in Enhancing Students’ Academic Motivation
This review examines how emotional regulation contributes to improving academic motivation in late adolescents. Teenagers frequently encounter emotional difficulties that can influence their engagement in learning and overall academic performance. By synthesizing findings from five recent international studies published between 2023 - 2024, the review highlights effective strategies, interventions, and developmental frameworks for managing emotions. Results suggest that adaptive techniques, including cognitive reappraisal, mindfulness, and self-control, positively impact intrinsic motivation, resilience, and academic outcomes while mitigating stress and burnout. These findings underscore the importance of emotional regulation in supporting adolescents’ psychological health and educational success. The study also stresses the need to integrate emotional regulation practices into school programs to enhance both motivation and long-term academic achievement
Literature Review: How Family Economic Conditions, Social Factors, and Psychological Factors Influence Student Learning Performance in Indonesia
This literature review examines how family economic conditions, social factors, and psychological factors influence students’ academic performance in Indonesia. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the study synthesizes findings from national journal articles published between 2015 and 2025. The results indicate that family economic status significantly affects learning achievement through the availability of learning facilities and financial stability; however, emotional and motivational support can offset economic limitations. Social factors—such as family involvement, school environment, and community support—create a positive learning atmosphere that enhances motivation and discipline. Meanwhile, psychological factors, including intrinsic motivation, emotional intelligence, self-discipline, and emotional support, play a crucial role in improving academic resilience and optimizing learning outcomes. The interaction among these three domains demonstrates that student performance is shaped by a multidimensional process that requires an integrative and holistic educational policy approach. Such policies should not only address school quality but also focus on family welfare, social empowerment, and psychological well-being to promote educational equity and excellence in Indonesia
