Exploring the potential of offline cryptography techniques for securing ECG signals in healthcare
In the research, a software for ECG signal based on Chaos encryption based on C#-programmed and Kit of Microsoft Visual Studio Development was implemented. A chaos logic map (ChLMp ) and its initial value are utilized to create Level-1 ECG signal based on Chaos encryption bit streams. A ChLMp, an initial value, a ChLMp bifurcation parameter, and two encryption level parameters are utilized to create level-2 ECG signal based on Chaos encryption bit streams. The level-3 ECG signal based on Chaos encryption software utilizes two parameters for the level of encryption, a permutation mechanism, an initial value, a bifurcation parameter of the level of encryption, and a ChLMp. We assess 16-channel ECG signals with great resolution utilizing encryption software. The level-3 ECG signal based on Chaos encryption program has the slowest and most reliable encryption speed. The encryption effect is superior, according to test findings, and when the right decoding parameter is utilized, the ECG signals may be completely recovered. The high resolution 16-channel ECG signals (HRMCECG) won\u27t be recovered if an invalid input parameter occurred, such as a 0.00001% initial point error, which will result in chaotic encryption bit streams
The study of deep learning for automotive logo recognition and classification
Most vehicle manufacturer recognition (VMR) techniques are established in vehicle logo recog-nition because a vehicle\u27s logo is the most obvious sign from the vehicle\u27s manufacturer. Howev-er, due to the difficulty in accurately segmenting a vehicle logo on the picture with demand in resilience against many imaging scenarios, logo recognition can still be challenging. After sub-jective overview about this scope, a convolutional neural network (CNN) method for VMR is investigated in this research, which does away with the need for exact logo detection and seg-mentation. A powerful pertaining approach has also been developed to improve real-world appli-cations to lower the high computational cost for kernel training on CNN-based systems. The con-tribution of this paper is to study the multiclass logo employing random forest ensemble learn-ing and convolution mapping in nonlinear space. To boost accuracy by roughly 35%, 800 images from 15 types of car classes were investigated in the paper
The effects of social media digital channels on marketing and expanding the industry of e-commerce within digital world
The primary research question investigated was: What is the effect of social media channels on e-commerce expansion and marketing by Jordanian firms? The specific objectives included examining social media channels\u27 effect on Jordanian companies\u27 marketing and exploring social media\u27s impact on Jordanian e-commerce expansion. To achieve the research goal, a quantitative method was used in which fifty social media managers of Jordanian firms were recruited and surveyed. A key result from the analysis conducted was that social media enables word-of-mouth expression by users regarding certain brands that positively and significantly increase the marketing effect of the firms. The other result noted from the analysis is that an increasing number of loyal followers can eventually lead to reduced e-commerce of firms if they fail to align the products and services with customers\u27 interests. One limitation of this research was a small sample, which reduced the generalization of the results. One recommendation from this research is that Jordanian firms should create entertaining and engaging social media posts that ensure customers can share their posi-tive experiences using specific products, leading to significant marketing impact
A multi-story reinforced concrete structure\u27s physical and geometric nonlinear evaluation based on open sees seismic analysis in architectural engineering building design
Research Purpose: The purpose of this research is to analyze a G+20 reinforced concrete building in Am-man, specifically focusing on its behavior under gravitational loading and wind, Applied Research Method: The research employs four types of static analysis: linear elastic analysis, geometric nonlinear analysis, physical nonlinear analysis, and physical and geometric nonlinear analysis. The OpenSees open-source pro-gram, developed at the University of California, Berkeley using C++ language, is used as the platform for the study, Principal Results: The research reveals significant differences in the results obtained from the various types of analyses performed. The linear elastic analysis, geometric nonlinear analysis, physical non-linear analysis, and physical and geometric nonlinear analysis produce varying results. The effort (forces and stresses) experienced by a specific beam on different floors also exhibits reasonable variation, Major Conclusions: Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that considering geometric and physical nonlinearity is crucial in accurately modeling the behavior of the reinforced concrete building. The use of the OpenSees program, along with the corotational formulation to account for large rotations and the P-Delta method for result validation, proves effective in capturing the complex behavior of the structure. The study highlights the importance of considering concrete cracking and reinforcement plasticity with precision to better understand the structural response
Exploring the ethical considerations of using Chat GPT in university education
This study investigates the moral dilemmas that arise with incorporating Chat GPT into higher education, with a focus on the situation in Latinoamerican institutions of higher learning. The study surveyed 220 peo-ple via online questionnaire to learn more about their experiences with and motivations for using AI-powered conversational agents. An overview of the demographics of the participants was provided through descriptive statistics. This investigation of the subject at hand lays the groundwork for further research. It also reveals the hidden meanings of the observed phenomena, and it suggests possible solutions to the prob-lems that have been uncovered. This research looks at how AI systems and chatbots can supplement human knowledge and judgment, as well as their potential drawbacks. The results showed that participants thought Chat GPT integration was moderately accessible and had moderately positive social attitudes. They under-stood the value and responsibility of Chat GPT in creating individualized educational opportunities. Partici-pants stressed the necessity for explicit institutional standards regarding privacy and data security. Gender, age, sense of accessibility, social attitude, opinions, and personal experience, privacy and data security, in-stitutional guidelines, and individualized learning were also found to affect participants\u27 reliance on AI through regression analysis. The findings shed light on how the integration of Chat GPT into Latinoameri-can higher education is complicated by factors such as individual beliefs, cultural norms, and ethical prob-lems. The busy schedules of students may be accommodated and the resources they need to succeed can be made available thanks to this adaptability. In addition, natural language processing models can offer stu-dents instantaneous help via text chat, voice, or video. To fully grasp the ethical consequences and lead the creation of responsible implementation techniques, the research proposes that additional qualitative investi-gations, longitudinal studies, and comparative research across diverse contexts is required. Closing these knowledge gaps will help move the conversational AI field forward in ways that are ethical and beneficial to the classroom
Pushover analysis of reinforced concrete structures applied to blast load using different plastic hinge models
The current work developed a modified pushover method using the Dynamic Load Factor DLF concept to give reasonable results compared to the more complex and time-consuming method (i.e., the non-linear time history method). A charge of 100 kg TNT is assumed to explode at different stand-off distances to cover the three blast design ranges of the (UFC 340-02) Code. The values of (DLF) were checked by applying them to the value of the blast load at the stand-off distances range between (10-70m). The results of the modified pushover method approached that of nonlinear time history with differences not exceeding (11.8%) and (4%) for maximum displacement and shear force, respectively. The DLF was suggested to be constant and equal (2.5) for the (high-pressure) design range and (1) for the (very-low pressure) design range. A formula was proposed for the (low-pressure) design range to simulate the descending values from (2.5) to (1). The prior plastic hinge models proposed by other researchers (Hawraa 2019 and Samer 2020) were used to ex-plore the more realistic structural response to blast loads compared to the standard model of ASCE41-17. Both models of the plastic hinge demonstrated a Collapse Prevention (CP) performance at the (high-pressure) design range. However, the ASCE model indicated that more columns failed in this range. Consid-ering the ASCE 41-17 and proposed approaches, the building performance at the (low-pressure) design range corresponds to the CP and Immediate Occupancy (IO) categories. Some plastic hinges were found when using the proposed plastic hinge model, but the number was nearly identical to that obtained using the ASCE method. The structure did not go beyond the elastic behavior if the proposed plastic hinge model is used in the (very low-pressure) design range. In the same design range, the structure performance lies within the (IO) category concerning the ASCE model. Generally, the suggested plastic hinge approach has been deemed sturdy due to being developed using the blast load and considered more dependable than those of ASCE41-17, which is acceptable for seismic events
Enhancing machine translation: syntax and semantics-based word type and function extraction through multi-task transfer learning in Indonesian, Tolaki, and English
This research aimed at constructing an effective Machine Translation (MT) system for the Indonesian, Tolaki, and English languages by integrating in-depth morphological, syntactic, and semantic analyses. Utilizing both supervised and unsupervised methods such as TF-IDF, Word2vec, BERT, and semantic similarity, this research extracted Indonesian and Tolaki words, categorizing them based on function and type within sentences and documents. The research method involved developing a morph tool to capture morphological elements, followed by rule-based algorithm formulation for syntactic analysis to extract word functions and types influencing translation within sentences. Three MT methods, Rule-Based MT (RBMT), Statistical MT (SMT) and SMT-RBMT (hybrid), were tested for translation accuracy. With an average accuracy of approximately 70%, the evaluation of the hybrid MT method demonstrated its superiority over SMT and RBMT, yielding translation accuracies of 0.71 from English into Indonesian into Tolaki and 0.74 from Indonesian into Tolaki into English
Evaluating the effect of unsteady air flow on a slotted aerofoil of wind turbines
In this study, three types of aerofoils were examined at various angles of attack and at a steady value then fluctuated of air flow. Then, the findings were compared to the XFOIL prediction results. The experimental and simulation results were consistent to some extent with the XFOIL prediction results. The shape of the chosen aerofoils was modified by making a slot through the blade the aerofoil and studying their effect on the aerodynamics of the modified shape. The slotted aerofoil shape was studied as it faced a fluctuated wind flow. The results revealed that the increase in angles of attack, the lift force increased and approximated its maximum value and then began to decrease with the slot. During the calculations, a case study for the number of elements was done to obtain the best mesh. The experimental and simulations were conducted by using ANSYS CFD at Reynolds number 106 and AOA equals (0°, 4°, 8°, 10°, 12°, 15°, 16°, 17°, 18°) for three shapes of aerofoils which are without a slot, two of which are symmetrical, NACA 0012 and NACA 0015, and one asymmetrical, which is NACA 4415. The slotted aerofoil (existence of an opening after 40% from the leading edge) which is the NACA 0015 aerofoil, was simulated. 
DevOps Ontology - An ontology to support the understanding of DevOps in the academy and the software industry
Currently, the degree of knowledge about what DevOps really means and what it entails is still limited. This can result in an informal and even incorrect implementation in many cases. Although several proposals related to DevOps adoption can be found, confusion is not uncommon and terminology conflict between the proposals is still evident. This article proposes DevOps Ontology, a semi-formal ontology that proposes a generic, consistent, and clear language to enable the dissemination of information related to implementing DevOps in software development. The ontology presented in this article facilitates the understanding of DevOps by identifying the relationships between software process elements and the agile principles/values that may be related to them. The DevOps Ontology has been defined considering the following aspects: the REFSENO formalism that uses the representation in UML was used and the language OWL language using Prótegé and HermiT Reasoner to evaluate the consistency of its structure. Likewise, it was satisfactorily evaluated in three application cases: a theoretical validation; instantiation of the continuous integration and deployment practices proposed by the company GitLab. Furthermore, a mobile app was created to retrieve information from the DevOps Ontology using the SPARQL protocol and RDF language. The app also evaluated the Ontology’s proficiency in responding to knowledge-based questions using SPARQL. The results showed that DevOps Ontology is consistent, complete, and concise, i.e.: to say: the consistency could be observed in the ability to be able to infer knowledge from the ontology, ensuring that the ontology is complete by checking for any incompleteness and verifying that all necessary definitions and inferences are well-established. Additionally, the ontology was assessed for conciseness to ensure that it doesn\u27t contain redundant or unnecessary definitions. Furthermore, it has the potential for improvement by incorporating new concepts and relationships as needed. The newly suggested ontology creates a set of terms that provide a systematic and structured approach to organizing the existing knowledge in the field. This helps to minimize the confusion, inconsistency, and heterogeneity of the terminologies and concepts in the area of interest
Preparation, investigation and studying the (physical, spectral and biological activity) of new monomers and heterocyclic compounds containing nitrogen and oxygen
This study involves the preparation of seven new compounds, some of them contain two functional groups that are considered condensation monomers. On the other hand, other compounds contain double bonds that are considered addition monomers. They started from 2- amino Thiazole with 2-hydroxy benzaldehyde (sa-licylaldehyde) in ethanol and hydrochloric acid to prepare azo compound (A), which reacted with acetophe-none derivatives (p-bromo, p-chloro and p-hydroxy acetophenone) to prepare chalcone monomers deriva-tives (H1-H3). Also, the work includes preparing seven-membered heterocyclic rings through two consecu-tive steps; the first step includes the preparation of Schiff base compound (S). The second step includes the preparation of the oxazepine derivatives (Z1, Z2) through the cyclic closure of compound (S) with the (ma-leic, phthalic) anhydrides, respectively. All compounds were investigated with FT-IR, H1NMR, and 13CNMR techniques. The physical properties and the antibacterial activity were also studied for all the pre-pared compounds and showed good results
