Online learning is an alternative during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to empirically verify the impact of the learning system during the COVID-19 pandemic in several countries and Indonesia. The method used in writing this article is using the prism method, which is part of the literature search method from national and international article sources, which is carried out using an indexed search on Google Scholar. The articles reviewed were the latest 49 articles from 2020 to 2022, consisting of 40 national journals and 9 international journals. The results of the study are presented as follows; (1) The search results prove an increase in the number of articles published from 2020-2021; (2) The distribution of articles by type and method of data is presented using more qualitative data; (3) The results showed that the impact of the learning system during the covid-19 pandemic had a major impact on the learning system, namely the positive and negative impacts of online learning carried out by every school facing the covid-19 pandemic. Online learning itself is very influential on learning during the pandemic and is the most widely used. Digital literacy competence is highly demanded in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic

There is a paucity of literature on the impacts of gender and location on the psychological well-being of agricultural science academic staff. This condition necessitated the use of an ex-post facto study with a sample of 46 University of Nigerian Agricultural Science and Education Academic Staff. The psychological wellbeing scale (α = .84) was used to collect data, which was based on the scientific research paradigm and quantitative research approach. The mean and t-test statistics were used to analyze the data. It was revealed that while gender had no significant impact on the academic staff’s psychological wellbeing, location had a significant impact on the academic staff’s psychological wellbeing. As a result, it was recommended that the university authority should make necessary accommodations to create a working environment that promotes the psychological wellbeing of academic staff irrespective of their location

The impact on moral competence following exposure to combat-like environments can be found in soldier narratives, however, limited scientific research investigates such effects. Moreover, the influence of one’s expressive flexibility and self-control on moral competence following combat-like environments is unknown. Employing a univariate design, this study recruited 107 participants (i.e., ages 18 to 22) from a private U.S. Military university to examine the impact on moral competence, including potential moderating effects of expressive flexibility and self-control, following exposure to combat-like environments. To simulate a combat-like environments, participants were placed in either immersive (i.e., Bravemind) or non-immersive (i.e., Virtual Battlespace 3) virtual environments. Self-reported expressive flexibility, self-control, and moral competence were assessed. Results revealed that following exposure to combat-like environments, an individual’s moral competence increased. A main effect of self-control on moral competence indicated that an individual’s self-control directly effects an individual’s moral competence. Findings from this study offers a richer comprehension of how, following simulated combat environments, moral competence can be influenced, and how expressive flexibility and self-control can aid in protecting mental health and wellbeing, even in judging moral dilemmas

The study investigated the relationship between emotional intelligence, occupational stress and productivity of employees in electrical industries. Research questions were answered while null hypotheses formulated were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study adopted a correlational research design and was carried out in North Central States of Nigeria. The population for the study was 301 employees in electrical industries. The entire employees were involved in the study. The instrument for data collection was questionnaire titled Emotional Intelligence, Occupational Stress and Productivity Questionnaire (EIOSPQ). Five experts face- validated the instrument. The internal consistency of the questionnaire items was determined using Cronbach alpha reliability method and coefficients of 0.88 was obtained for Electrical Occupational Stress, 0.94 for Productivity of workers in electrical occupation, 0.85 for Emotional intelligence of employees. The overall reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.96. Out of 301 copies of EIOSPQ administered, 295 copies were completed representing 98.01 percent return rate. Pearson product moment correlation and regression analysis were employed to analyse data for answering research questions and hypotheses. The findings on hypotheses revealed that: EI significantly predicts productivity of employees in electrical industries, EI does not significantly predicts occupational stress of employees in electrical industries, emotional intelligence was a significant moderator of the relationship between occupational stress and productivity of employees in electrical industries, demographic variables were not significantly influenced emotional intelligence and productivity of employees in electrical industries. It was recommended that employees in electrical industries should be sensitized through workshops and seminars on how EI can influence their productivity and occupational stress in their occupations

This study determined the influence of work-family balance on job performance, job satisfaction and mental health of electronics craftsmen in Plateau State. Six research questions and hypotheses guided the study. A correlational design was adopted for the study. A sample of 171 electronic craftsmen purposively sampled were involved in the study. Four sets of questionnaires were used for data collection. The instrument was face validation by five experts. The reliability coefficient of 0.75 was determined using Cronbach alpha.  Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient was used to analyse the data relating to the research questions while multiple regressions were used for the hypothesis at a criterion level of 0.05 level of significance. The bivariate correlation results show a weak but positive relationship between work-family balance and job performance, and job satisfaction, while it has an inverse influence on their mental health. The result also shows that marital status, age, experience and income level are possible positive moderators of the relationship between work-family and job performance, job satisfaction and mental health. The regression results also show that work-family balance is a positive significant predictor of job performance, job satisfaction and mental health. It also shows no significant interaction effects of marital status, age, experience and income level on the relationship between work-family balance and job performance and job satisfaction. However, the result shows that age and marital status has a significant moderating role on the relationship while experience and income level show significant relationships on the mental health of the craftsmen. It is therefore recommended that work-family balance should be embedded in craftsmen training courses to prepare them well before practice. Craftsmen should also take time to manage their health, as it is only the healthy that can perform well on their job

The instrument consisted of 26 statements of general anxiety about writing, teacher writing evaluations, peer writing evaluations, and professional evaluations (e.g., publishers and magazine editors) administered online. The research data were analyzed using the Rasch model using variable maps, and subtotal specifications. The findings show that there is no difference in anxiety of male and female students in writing, students who have never written will experience more writing anxiety than students who have written. Thus, students who have written but have not finished writing a paper will also experience writing anxiety
