    This past summer, I took on the role as an intern at the residential office of Houlihan Lawrence in Rye, NY. Through patience and constant practice, I eventually began to thrive in my role and even went on to become an integral part of the offices everyday function. Once my internship there ended, I was recommended to the general manager of the commercial firm by my boss. I then went on to work with the commercial group of HL in the corporate office in Rye Brook, NY. This line of events goes to show how through immense dedication and hard work, you can achieve great feats. Not only did I receive invaluable experience following my promotion, it solidified my interest in commercial real estate

    Agroforestry in the Amazon

    This is a reflection of my summer internship on an Agroforestry farm in the Peruvian Amazon. I worked with a small NGO, Camino Verde, to help with agroforestry planning and planting, cacao harvesting and research, and small wood construction projects. I also attempted some soil testing, but learned of the limitations of bringing Western science and applying it to a completely different setting, the rainforest, which requires its own unique tools
