This paper reflects on my Summer 2025 internship with Raytheon Technologies and its impact on my professional growth. Working in finance for the Global Patriot Missile Program, I used SAP to analyze weekly actuals and built Excel reports that informed leadership decisions on resource allocation and performance. These tasks gave me firsthand insight into how financial data drives operations in a global aerospace and defense company. The experience also strengthened my soft skills. Daily mentor check-ins and a group project to improve reporting processes improved my communication, collaboration, and time management. I learned to adapt quickly, balance deadlines, and seek clarification more readily. Overcoming challenges with complex software highlighted both resilience and the value of teamwork

Professional conservatory training has always been on my mind since I began considering a performing arts career. Before this summer, I had taken acting classes and gained stage experience, but I never had the opportunity for full immersion in conservatory training. I applied to the highly competitive Summer Conservatory at Stella Adler Studio of Acting and was admitted after a rigorous process. The program was intensive, with long days of movement, acting techniques, Shakespeare, scene study, and acting for the camera, complemented by practicum sessions and guest speakers from the industry. This training not only strengthened my skills as a performer but also gave me a valuable perspective as a director and collaborator. By the end of the program, I felt more confident in my artistic voice, equipped with new tools for auditions and creative work. Most importantly, I came to appreciate that authenticity lies at the core of art, and that the role of the artist is to stay true to their craft while embracing the ever-evolving flow of ideas

In Summer 2025 I was afforded the opportunity to work with the Guilford Keeping Society of Guilford, Connecticut, wherein i served as both docent and intern at the Thomas Griswold House Museum and the Medad Stone Tavern Museum. I was given responsibilities such providing guided tours, opening, closing, and maintaining both sites, encouraging donations, and revising the docent handbook to better support future docents. The internship which I secured after a lengthy search process allowed me to gain hands-on professional experience in a genuine museum setting, particularly with regards to public engagement and visitor services. While my academic background in Art History and Museum Studies prepared me to a great degree, much of my on-site learning came through adapting quickly to new responsibilities and developing confidence in unsupervised work. This internship sharpened valuable skills such as communication and adaptability, which I view as valuable stepping stones toward my goal of a career in Collections Management, even if the specific focus differed from my long-term interests

This paper reflects on my summer 2025 internship as a Posse Surgical Student Intern in the Ophthalmology Department at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. Through shadowing surgeons in clinics and operating rooms, engaging in hands-on labs, and receiving intentional mentorship, I gained direct exposure to more than twenty surgical specialties. This experience illuminated how teaching hospitals foster learning environments, work towards diversifying the surgical workforce, and connect clinical practice with broader questions of health equity and community responsibility. Drawing on my training as a PICA scholar, I analyze how systemic structures such as institutional policies and mentorship programs shape opportunities for underrepresented students in medicine. This internship was a deeply reaffirming experience that expanded my professional skills and solidified my passion for pursuing a career in medicine as a surgeon
