Worked with a newly started firm to find opportunities in the middle market of energy transition investing. Investing themes encountered included geothermal, clean fuels, wind, solar, and more. Given the federal regulatory climate, part of the work was preparing material and researching the vast impacts of the big beautiful bill act on the renewables/energy transition space, this was especially crucial given its impacts on federal incentives for some of the projects that were part of the live deals during my time at the firm. While there was some quantitative elements to the work, a lot of it I learned is very qualitative, the assumptions behind some models dont come from purely numbers, rather the results of calls with some of the companies we worked with, the status of projects, and many other micro/macro factors that surpass pure numbers. It was very interesting to use some basic concepts and frameworks learned in my earlier econ classes play out in real time during a very tumultuous and relevant period in energy transition finance
A Summer at Anchor of Hope
My reflection paper summaries my summer internship at Anchor of Hope. Anchor of Hope is a non-profit organization that goal resources for family struggling with pregnancy decisions and parenting. Throughout the journey of this internship, I faced a few challenges which influence a significant enhancement my communication, professionalism and leadership skills. My liberal art education was very effective in my role as an intern and enabled me to further achieve my learning object to better communicate with clients during psychological impairing events in their lives. A meaningful moment for me at Anchor of Hope was the opportunity to pray for two clients in their native language. I also learnt valuables lessons on the importance of setting boundaries, respect in the workplace and allowing others to assist me in situations. All in all, this internship has been very pivotal in my growth as an navigate my different on campus
Granite Telecommunications Business Development Sales Internship
10- Week Internship at Granite Telecommunications as a Business Development Sales Intern
Field Organizing Intern at Climate Action PA
In this role, I got to see the inner workings of a nonprofit organization, particularly one focused on sustainability and environmental justice. I spent many hours canvassing, phone banking and event planning for both Climate Action events and a capstone project of my own at the end of the summer
University of Tennessee PTCB
This paper highlights my journey through the process of becoming a certified pharmacy technician. I completed a course through the University of Tennessee and passed the board certification exam in the summer or 2025. This certification was acquired to gain further medical experience before applying to medical school

A Movement in Process: The Effects of Post-Dictatorship Politics on the Legalization of Abortion in Argentina
Access to abortion is an inherently critical aspect of sexual and reproductive rights. That is to say that access to safe abortions is of equal importance to guaranteeing a person’s right to safety during the pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period. This research primarily focuses on the trajectory of the legalization of abortion in Argentina after the end of the last military Dictatorship (1976-1983), the factors that impacted the movement, and how the movement is received in Argentina today. Argentina’s current administration has been unsupportive of the current abortion law, but past successes demonstrate that abortion rights activists in Argentina are prepared to defend it

Understanding the Impact of Chronic Stress in Cocaine Addiction: How Stress influences the Behavior and Biology of Addiction?
Cocaine addiction is a chronic relapsing disorder influenced by both neurobiological and environmental factors, including stress. This study investigated the impact of stress-induced corticosterone elevation on the expression of key dopaminergic signaling components involved in cocaine reward: dopamine receptors D1 and D2, dopamine transporter (DAT), and protein kinase A (PKA) in a rat model. Using a conditioned place preference (CPP) paradigm, male rats were divided into four groups: non-stressed control, stressed control, non-stressed CPP, and stressed CPP. Stress was induced using 2,5-dihydro-2,4,5-trimethylthiazoline (TMT), a predator odor. Following behavioral testing, nucleus accumbens (NAc) tissue was collected from each side of the brain with one hemisphere analyzed by quantitative PCR and the other reserved for protein-level analysis.
PCR results revealed a marked increase in D1 receptor mRNA expression in the stressed groups, with the stressed CPP group exhibiting the highest levels, however, this change was not statistically significant. D2 receptor expression, on the other hand, showed lower expression in the stressed-cocaine group compared to stressed or-unstressed control. DAT and PKA expressions did not follow a consistent pattern. Coomassie staining was performed to assess protein levels but did not show specificity among proteins D1, D2 and DAT.
These findings suggest that stress may potentiate the neurobiological response to cocaine by changing the expression of receptors in the dopamine pathway
