No full textThis essay presents my summer internship experience at A&S Studios, a music production studio, which forced me to adapt my career goals due to an unexpected lack of professional opportunities and direction. Initially, I sought hands-on audio engineering experience, but the studio struggled with low client volume and administrative issues. As a result, I made a critical decision to pivot my summer initiatives so that I could still create a successful experience. Through various projects focusing on the intersection of music and technology, I successfully provided a meaningful learning experience for myself. This involved independently developing skills in digital signal processing and loudspeaker restoration, and through a series of personal projects, I turned this unexpected situation into a productive one. While I did not anticipate this, the experience taught me invaluable career skills like patience, critical thinking, and adaptability
