    Propinsi Aceh dengan potensi sumberdaya alam dan ekonomi serta didukung bentang alam yang relatif datar sangat memungkinkan untuk dikembangkan jalur kereta api. Di Propinsi Aceh  tersebut, terdapat dua pelabuhan barang dan manusia yang aktif. Pelabuhan tersebut adalah Pelabuhan Malahayati dan Pelabukan Lhokseumawe/Kreung Geugeuh. Ada lima jalur potensial yang bisa dikembangkan. Yaitu dua jalur di Malahayati dan tiga di Lhokseumawe. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah terbatasnya sumber daya finansial yang bisa mewujudkan pengembangan jalur yang bisa mengalirkan barang dan manusia dikedua pelabuhan tersebut. Untuk itu perlu dibuat prioritas penentuan jalur yang paling feasible. Dalam penentuan prioritas bisa dilakukan secara “manual†yaitu dengan perhitungan matematis terhadap kriteria kriteria jalur atau dengan bantuan perangkat lunak khusus pengambilan keputusan. Dalam hal ini Expert choice. Dengan metoda expert choice, penentuan jalur dapat dipercepat dan dipermudah. Adapun hasil pemakaian expert choice dengan kriteria dilapangan dan normatif  tersebut dapat ditentukan jalur prioritas.     Most of Indonesia's population depend on agriculture. Agriculture is the basis for growth in the countryside. Horticultural company is a company form of business or legal entity that is engaged in the cultivation or breeding and marketing of vegetables, fruit, and ornamental plants. The research design used quantitative descriptive technique and take a case in Horticultural Company incorporated in the province of West Java. Informants research is the founder of 35 businesses horticultural businesses. Respondents were selected by simple random samplingmethod Solvin. Data were analyzed with path analysis, the business environment variables, entrepreneurial character, the ability of businesses and business improvement. Character of business founders age at age less than 54 years, including age. Average of the last education strata 1 (undergraduate). A conducive business environment and the higher the entrepreneurial character can give the effect of an increase in the ability of the business. Theseeffects are direct and indirect, of the path of the business environment 78.3%, 19.2% and entrepreneurial character. The effects of both variables 83.7% with 4% residual business capabilities and 16.3% influenced by other variables that are not covered

    The experiment was carried out at Plant Biotechnology laboratorium and experimentalfield Faculty of Agriculture University of Winaya Mukti Tanjungsari Sumedang which the altitude is about 850 meters above sea level, from March 2008 until May 2008.Theobjective of this experiment was to studying the interaction effect of giberellat acidconcentration and and soaking time on seed viability, seed vigor, growth and yield ofJatropha curcas in nursery.Design used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) withfactorial pattern, treatment consisted of two factors and two replications. The first factorwas giberellat acid (GA3) concentration (K) which consisted of 4 levels namely : k1=250 ppm, k2= 500 ppm, k3= 750 ppm and k4= 1000 ppm. The second factor soakingtime on GA34 (M) which consisted of 4 levels namely : m1= 6 hour, m2= 18 hour dan m = 24 hour.The results of these experiment showed there was aninteraction between giberellat acid concentration and and soaking time on high of plant20 day after planting (DAP), 40 DAP, 60 DAP, number of leaves 20 DAP, 40 DAP, 60DAP, length of root, number of root, dry wight of root and dry wight of shoot.Â

    economic development. In addition, high income inequality also shows the heterogeneity between regions, as seen in Bekasi regency with a rapid growth rate. This research purposes were  to identify  the sector which is a base in the region growth, the economic structure change in each district, and  measure the level of regional inequality in Sumedang regency. This research design was descriptive qualitative and methods chosen was survey  with an analytical unit of 26 districts in Sumedang regency and its object are regional income (GDP), populations and the GDP is based upon the labor fields of each district during 2008-2012. The analysis tool used is Location Quotient, Classical Shift Share, and Williamson Index.The research results showed that The  region with a growth rate and higher competitiveness of other regions were  Jatinangor, Cimalaka, North Sumedang, , Sumedang south, Cimanggung, Paseh, Tanjungsari and Pamulihan. Four sectors have growth that is slower than the average growth of all sectors were agriculture, mining/quarrying, manufacturing and services.  Total Change  growth and the highest shift to agriculture occurred in the District Buahdua, mining / quarrying in District Paseh, the manufacturing sector in Sumedang District of northern sector of electricity, gas, water and buildings in the District Jatinangor sector trade, hotels and restaurants in the District of Sumedang Utara, transport, communications, finance, leasing, and services companies in the District of South Sumedang and services sectors in the District Jatinangor. Changes in total with the highest positive values contained in five sub-districts Jatinangor, North Sumedang, Cimanggung, South Sumedang and Tanjungsari. There was a transformation of the economic structure of Sumedang from the primary sector to the secondary and tertiary sectors. Potential sectors that become leading sector, made a great contribution because it has advantages kompetitif and comparative , be able to specialize in rural areas was  agriculture while urban areas was manufacturing, trade, hotels and restaurant and the services. Inequality of income distribution Sumedang  was relatively low (0,2-0,5) and the regional disparity in Sumedang including moderate with relatively stable inequality index value of 0.44

    The use of local microorganisms in the composting process will influence the final outcome compost or different according to the dominant species of microorganisms contained in the local microorganisms. This indirectly will respond differently to the growth and quality of radish tubers produced. Formulation of the problem of the research is as follows: How is the interaction between the use types of microorganisms locally in the process of composting organic material and harvesting time in the cultivation of rapeseed for the quality of radish, what type of microorganisms local and harvest time how many days after planting gives the crop rapeseed best. The research was conducted in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Winaya Mukti University. Experimental approach using experimental design factorial randomized block design consists of the first factor of compost a wide treatment with different local microorganisms, consists of five levels, and the second factor of different harvesting time which consists of four levels that are repeated twice. The results showed local Microorganisms snails on composting give significantly different results on the length and weight of tuber tubers radish Var. Greenbow, while the quality of radish tubers obtained from harvesting time at the age of 53 HST

    Acreage and production of tea plant in Purwakarta decreased compared to previous years. Price of tea leaf  is less favorable making farmers less eager to continue to pursue this commodity. Sindangpanon farmer group seeks to increase the value added tea leaf to process into dry tea, but various obstacles make this business has not developed. The purpose of this study was to: 1) analyze the problems faced by farmers' groups in running the business processing tea leaf; 2) analyze the impact of efforts to increase the capacity of farmer groups to produce competitive products. This study is an action research and designed with a qualitative design. Informants in this study is the management and members of farmer groups Sindangpanon well as the staff of the Department of Agriculture, Plantation and forestry, PurwakartaDistrict. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis. The results showed the tea leaf processing enterprises difficult to develop due to lack of competitive products, the market is still limited and the managerial ability needs to be improved. Event strengthening the capacity of farmer groups that do have an impact on increasing the knowledge and skills of the group members in running the business and increased sales volume

    PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KACANG TANAH VARIETAS KIDANG AKIBAT APLIKASI KONSENTRASI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR

    Suatu penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan mempelajari pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah varietas Kidang akibat aplikasi konsentrasi pupuk organik Cair (POC). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Praktek SPP-SPMA Cianjur Kecamatan Cilaku Kabupaten Cianjur dengan ketinggian tempat 450 m di atas permukaan laut dan ordo tanah Inceptisol.  Penelitian ini bersifat verifikatif dengan melakukan percobaan dengan menggunakan rancangan lingkungan Rancangan Acak Kelompok.  Perlakuan percobaan adalah konsentrasi POC yang terdiri atas lima perlakuan, yaitu tanpa POC, 1 ml L-1, 2 ml L-1, 3 ml L-1, dan 4 ml L-1.  Tiap perlakuan diulang lima kali.  Hasil percobaan menunjukkan  bahwa aplikasi konsentrasi POC memberikan efek berbeda terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun trifoliatus, jumlah polong per tanaman, persentase polong bernas, bobot polong bernas per tanaman dan per petak, bobot biji kering per tanaman dan per petak serta bobot 100 butir biji.  Aplikasi POC dengan konsentrasi 4 ml L-1 memberikan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun lebih baik tetapi terhadap komponen hasil dan  hasil tanaman kacang tanah efeknya sama dibandingkan dengan aplikasi POC dengan konsentrasi 2 ml L-1 dan 3 ml L-1.Â

    Farming activities of production facilities is important, because most new technologies that can increase agricultural production requires the use of means of production by farmers, while the production process includes corn farming, planting, fertilizing, maintenance, and pest and disease control. Seeds to be used should be of quality seed of improved varieties, and not mixed with others varieties. This Research is a case which is a survey on farmers who tried to farm corn hybrid varieties Bisi-2. In the village of Jayamandiri, District Cibugel, Sumedang regency. Mechanical determination of the respondent farmers used was simple random sample (Simple Random Sampling) with 45 farmers (respondent) .The Effect between factors of production with a production produced, tested by analysis of variance (Analysis of Variance / ANOVA). Tests carried out using SPSS 17. The influence of the factors of production with theresults of the simultaneous production was a factor of production land, seed, fertilizer urea, Phonska, manure, and labor provide significant effect on yield. Judging from the effect between factors of production with partial production, production factors which influence the results of seed production is a factor of production and labor

    Penelitian untuk mengetahui korelasi antar karakter  biokimia dengan katahanan cabai terhadap penyakit Antraknos. Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan dan Laboratorium Hama dan Penyakit Fakultas Pertanian UNWIM, Tanjungsari Sumedang dari bulan Oktober 2003 - Februari 2004. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan jumlah ulangan tidak sama, dengan asumsi model acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik dilapangan maupun di laboratorium, karakter kadar air buah mempunyai nilai korelasi fenotip dan genetik yang tidak nyata dengan intensitas penyakit Antraknos. Karakter kadar antosianin dan kadar lignin kulit buah berkorelasi fenotip negatif nyata terhadap intensitas penyakit antraknos, tetapi berkorelasi genetik negatif tidak nyata terhadap intensitas penyakit Antraknos. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan seleksi tidak langsung secara genetik untuk karakter ketahanan tanaman cabai merah melalui karakter kadar antosianin, kadar air dan kadar lignin kulit buah tidak akan efektif

    Sebagian besar lahan di Indonesia mengandung bahan organik yang rendah (<1%), sehingga produktivitas lahan menjadi rendah. Produktivitas lahan yang rendah disebabkan rendahnya ketersediaan hara akibat peran mikroba tanah yang menguntungkan bagi tanaman menurun. Penambahan bahan organik dan penggunaan pupuk hayati merupakan usaha untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanah dan tanaman. Mikoriza Arbuskula (MA) merupakan salah satu pupuk hayati yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas tanah dan tanaman. Percobaan rumah kasa dilakukan dengan tujuanuntuk mempelajari efek takaran pupuk kompos disertai inokulasi mikoriza terhadap pertumbuhan,kolonisasi mikoriza dan hasil tanaman kedelai. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak kelompok berfola faktorial dengan dua faktor dan dua ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu takaran kompos terdiri dari tanpa kompos, 10 ton ha-1, 20 ton ha-1 dan 30 ton ha-1, sedangkan faktor kedua  kedua yaitu takaran mikoriza terdiri atas tanpa mikoriza, 5 g, 10 g dan 15 g per lubang tanam. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa takaran kompos dan mikoriza memberikan efek yang berbeda terhadap jumlah polong, jumlah biji dan bobot biji kering per tanaman, tetapi tidak terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan jumlah nodula efektif per tanaman, nisbah pupus akar, kolonisasi mikoriza, dan bobot 10 butir. Hasil lebih tinggi diperoleh jika pemberian 30 ton ha-1 dan 20 ton ha-1 disertai dengan inokulan miroriza masing-masing 10 g dan 15 g per lubang tanam
