    The experiment was carried out in Karangbungur Village, Buahdua, Sumedang at an altitude of 170 meters above sea level. The experiment was carried out from July to August 2020. The aim of the experiment was to determine and study the effect of the interaction between the composition of the husk charcoal growing media and sheep manure on the grafting growth of avocado (Persea americana Mill.) Sindangreret variety. The experimental design used was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors and repeated 3 times. The first factor is husk charcoal (a) consisting of 3 levels, namely a0 (0 t ha-1) a1 (9 t ha-1) a2 (18 t ha-1). The second factor is sheep manure consisting of 3 levels, namely b0 (0 t ha-1) b1 (9 t ha-1) b2 (18 t ha-1). The results showed that there was an interaction with root volume and no interaction with shoot emergence time, shoot length (4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 weeks after connection), number of leaves (6, 7, and 8 weeks after connection), and the percentage of live connections

    ABSTRACTCattle food greenery is an important factor in supporting ruminant farming to improve optimally with good result besides breeding factor and procedures. Ruminant farming needs greenery feeding at least 10% of its weight to fill up its energy needs. A good quality feeding must be provided continually to support the ruminant farming. People in villages use farming areas, plantations, and vacant areas along the streets as plant production area for their livestock, and people living near the forests use forest area as greenery source for their cattle. However, people recently have little awareness to preserve the forest due to their lack of knowledge to value the advantages of the forest they benefit from every day. This circumstances frequently lead to pressure towards the forest. This research is aimed to find out the amount of cattle food greenery in every family unit monthly, to know the economy value of cattle food greenery which is earned by the people from the forest area, and to inform people to raise ther knowledge and awareness towards the importance of forest use and its preservation. This research used survey method to obtain data in current condition by involving 140 respondents. The result shows that there are 8.650 sacks (50 kg each) of cattle food greenery which are earned by each family unit from the forest, with 62 sacks approximately. The total economy value of cattle food greenery is Rp. 126.600.000 monthly with the average number as much as Rp. 904.285,71 per family unit

    Nycticebus javanicus is one of endemic species of Java island that one of endangered species. Data and research of Nycticebus javanicus is still low. So, this condition difficult to it conservation. Existing of Nycticebus javanicus depend on forest vegetation including food tree. The method of research by plot of tree food observation, niche analysis that focus of feeding activity and part of feed. The result of research are 17 species of tree, there are aren (Arenga pinnata), bamboo (Bambusa vulgaris), bisoro (Ficus leificarva), hamirung (Vernonia arborea), huru leueur (Phoebe excelsa), kaliandra (Calliandra calotyrsus), kiteja (Parinari sumatrana), kitembaga (Eugenia cuprea), kibanen (Criyteronia paniculata), kiara (Ficus altisima), kipait (Tithonia diversifolia), kisampang (Evodia latifolia), kilaki (Adina fagifolia), nangsi (Villebrunea rubescens), sempur (Dillenia indica), teureup (Artocarpus elastic), and tangkil (Gnetum gnenom).     Food needs continue to increase from year to year and one of efforts in increasing food production is to cultivate forest land with potential food crops with agroforestry systems found in Haurkuning Village. The present study was conducted in March to June 2018 and aimed to determine the diversity of forestry food crops on agroforestry land and its cultivation status. This study was conducted by using interview method to every agroforestry farmer who had > 0.25 ha of land by means of random sampling. According to Regulation of Forestry Minister: 35 / Forestry Ministry-II / 2007 in Haurkuning Village there are 19 types of food crops consisting of 5 types of plants as sources of carbohydrates, 13 types of fruit-producing plants and 2 producers of fat oil, 60% of these food crops are cultivated by the society, which includes seed preparation, planting, maintenance and harvesting

    Salah satu sektor yang berkontribusi dalam peningkatan pemanasan global adalah limbah peternakan yang diantaranya berasal dari kotoran hewan. Sumbangan emsinya diantaranya berasal dari gas metana (CH4), dinitrogen oksida (N2O), karbon dioksida (CO2), dan amonia yang dapat menimbulkan hujan asam. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui sumbangan emisi Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK) dari sektor peternakan tahun 2016 sampai 2021 pada tempat penampungan hewan berupa penggemukan sapi perah dan sapi potong di Desa Kecamatan, Cikalong Wetan, Kabupaten Barat. Penelitian ini mengunakan metodenya survei lapangan dan study literatur untuk memperoleh data primer serta data sekunder berupa populasi ternak dan pengelolaan limbahnya. Data diolah dengan mengunakan metoda Tier I dari IPCC. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Tahun 2016 Desa Cikalong memberikan sumbangan emisi sebesar 2610,55 ton CO2- eq/tahun meningkat hingga 3632,16 ton CO2-eq/tahun pada Tahun 2019 yang didominasi oleh CH4 dari fermentasi enteri

    The experiment was carried out in Ciumbuleuit, Hegarmanah Sub-district, Cidadap District, Bandung City, with an altitude of 875 meters above sea level with the Andosol order. The time of the experiment was started from June - August 2020. The purpose of this study was to study and analyze the effectiveness of the best natural growth regulators (ZPT) on the growth of celery (Apium graveolens L.). The experimental design used was a simple randomized block design (RBD) with four treatments and repeated six times. The treatments were A = 100% water (control), B = 30% shallot extract, C = 30% bean sprout extract, and D = 30% coconut water. The results showed that different natural ZPT administration had an effect on the growth of celery plants. And the experimental results based on independent tests showed that giving D treatment, coconut water at a concentration of 30% affected the growth of plant height 21 DAS, number of leaves 35 DAS and 42 DAS, leaf length 35 DAS and 42 DAS and the number of tillers 42 DAS on celery plants compared other treatment

    Perkotaan merupakan kawasan pemukiman yang secara fisik ditunjukan oleh kumpulan permukiman dan memiliki fasilitas untuk mendukung kehidupan warganya secara mandiri. Jatinangor merupakan kecamatan yang terdapat di Kabupaten Sumedang yang sudah mencirikan Kawasan Perkotaan. Untuk dapat mengoptimalkan perkembangan kawasan perkotaan di Kecamatan Jatinangor, maka sistem pusat pelayanan kawasan perlu diarahkan ke dalam rencana tata ruang kawasan. Metode data pada penelitian menggunakan teknik observasi dan untuk metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian menggunakan deskritif kuantitatif. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah hierarki pusat pelayanan kawasan di Kecamatan Jatinangor yang terdiri dari 12 Desa terbagi kedalam tiga hierarki pusat pelayanan. Hierarki pertama yaitu Pusat Pertumbuhan Kawasan yang terdiri dari Desa Hegarmanah, Cipacing, Sayang, Cikeruh, dan CIbeusi. Kemudian hierarki kedua adalah Pusat Kegiatan Perindustrian yang terdiri dari Desa Cintamulya, Jatimukti, Mekargalih, dan Cisempur.untuk hirari yang ketiga yaitu Pusat Permukiman yang terletak di Desa Jatiroke, Cileles, dan Cilayung. Bentuk struktur Pusat Pelayanan Perkotaan Jatinangor merupakan konsep konsentris, dengan pola perkembangan perkotan berada di tengah-tengah kawasa sebagai daerah pusat kawasan.     Pengabdian masyarakat ini berlatar belakang pelaksanaan dan penerapan Media TV Sekolah Dalam proses Pembelajaran Daring Di Paud Dzikru Aulia, Setu, Tangerang Selatan. Jenis pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan dengan cara Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) secara langsung ini, agar lebih mengetahui kesiapan para guru dan murid dalam mengaplikasikan media TV sekolah  pada saat pembelajaran online. Berdasarkan hasil observasi ini didapat informasi bahwa kesiapan dan pemahaman mengenai penggunaan media TV Sekolah di Paud Dzikru Aulia masih butuh bimbingan dan arahan. Dengan kegiatan ini diharapkan guru-guru lebih siap dalam menyiapkan video pembelajaran yang akan digunakan saat kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan sistem online, serta kesiapan guru-guru untuk mensosialisasikan penggunaan media TV Sekolah kepada murid-murid dan orang tua murid

    The existence of green line is very important for people's lives, because being planted in this area is very useful for reducing urban pollution that is built from vehicles and factories equipped with gas containing solid particles. One of component for green line is tree, because it’s have branching that’s reducing urban pollution. The branching architecture is a morphological representation of a particular phase of a series of tree growth series, real and observable at all times. The object of research is a tree census was carried out on Jl. National II / Jl. Bypass of the Cicalengka green line area then describe of model architecture. The method of research by sensus for numbering species of tree and identify of tree architecture model using book by F. Halle & R.A.A. Oldeman, namely: An Essay on The Architecture and Dynamics of Growth of Tropical Trees. The results of reseach are 946 trees that grow on Jl. Nasional III in the Cicalengka green line area. There are 15 tree species found 4 tree architectural models namely troll, rauh, aubreville, and champagnat. Â

    The higher the use of coal in the industry, the higher the waste produced. This causes environmental problems such as air, soil, water pollution and a decrease in the quality of ecosystems and public health in industrial environments. For this reason, it is necessary to make efforts to utilize coal waste so that unwanted things do not occur, one of which is by using coal ash waste as a soil repairer to improve soil quality in post-mining land. This experiment was carried at the Faculty of Agriculture screenhouse, Winaya Mukti University, Tanjungsari, Sumedang Regency on the altitude of 850 M above sea level. The trial period is from Jully to August 2020. The experiment aims to determine the effect of comparisons of post-mining soil media composition with Faba fixer on the value of growth of Pueraria javanicum plants. The experimental design used was a randomized block design (RBD) which consisted of five treatments and was repeated five times. Treatment is the ratio of Fla Ash Bottom Ash soil repairer and post-mining soil with the following dosages; A = 100% post-mining soil, B = 25% Faba soil repairer + 75% post-mining soil, C = 50% Faba soil repairer + 50% post-mining soil, D = 75% Faba soil repairer + 25% post-mining soil, E = 100% Faba soil repairer. The results showed that treatment C (50% Faba soil repairer + 50% soil) had a good effect on plant height and shoot wet weight, treatment D (75% Faba soil repairer + 25% soil) had a good effect on the number of leaves, root length, number of effective nodules, and root wet weight of Pueraria javanicum plants.Â
