In the meanwhile, good corporate governance will help it perform better financially because economic performance demonstrates sound financial management also the specific results of this research revealed that regarding the independent variables of internal auditing, there are significant effects of internal auditing effectiveness, audit committee, audit agility and board director on the ROA indicator as one of the financial performance indicators. Also, there are significant effects of the internal auditing variables on the Tobins’Q as one of the financial performance indicators. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct more studies on the relationship between governance mechanisms and financial performance in other business sectors
Robust detection of outliers in bilinear (P,0,1,1) time series model
Bilinear time series model is the simplest model among the nonlinear time series models. Like other time series models, parameter estimation is a crucial process to determine the precision of the model. Nonlinear least squares (NLS) method along with Newton-Raphson (NR) iterative procedure is deemed as the best method to estimate parameters for bilinear Model. However, the existence of outliers will affect the accuracy of the estimated parameters. In addition, the effect of masking and swamping in outlier detection could also jeopardize the estimation. Therefore, detecting outliers and correcting its effects are vital in the construction of a good model. This study proposed two common detection procedures and two bootstrap detection procedures using robust estimators namely mommadn and momtn to improve the performance of outlier detection and to control the Type I error rate In bilinear (p,0,1,1) models, where p=1,2,3. The effectiveness of the detection procedures was evaluated based on the probability of outlier detection and the level of robustness based on Type I error rate which obtained from simulation study. This study focused on two types of outliers that are often encountered in bilinear data namely additional outlier and Innovational outlier. The findings revealed that the robust bootstrap detection procedures perform better than the other detection procedures. The parameter of bilinear (p,0,1,1) models were estimated through the robust NLS (RNLS) method. The effect of the identified outlier was removed by subtracting its estimated magnitude of outlier effect from observation and the model parameters were re-estimated on the corrected series. The Proposed four procedures and RNLS method improved the capability of outlier detection on real environmental data

Model pengurusan konflik Palestin-Israel: Cabaran diplomasi dan peranan mediator dalam Perjanjian Oslo 1993
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict continues to drag on despite various peace initiatives that have been worked on from time to time. Many parties have been involved in the peace process including mediators and relevant international parties. However, efforts to reach a complete solution are still deadlocked. This research has been designed to fulfill three main objectives which are to identify the structure and development of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, to examine the challenges of diplomacy in the management of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and to examine the effectiveness of the mediator's role in the 1993 Oslo Agreement. This research has used a qualitative approach by analyzing data from secondary sources through elite interviews as well as official sources of governments and international organizations, and secondary sources, in the form of books, journals, and online sources related to the Palestinian- Israeli conflict. Content analysis methods were used to analyze both types of research sources. In order to understand this conflict in depth, the Conflict Management Flow (CMF) approach and the Conflict Management Procedure (CMP) have been used to answer the objective regarding the mediator's direct actions having a major impact on Palestine and Israel and the overall implications that pave the way for further peace efforts. The results of the study have shown that mediators play a critical role in the negotiation process of the 1993 Oslo Peace Agreement. The previous diplomatic efforts that did not achieve full success give an important indication to continue looking for an appropriate approach, such as a Two-State Solution or a One-State Approach in dealing with the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This protracted Israel. The findings of the study have also identified alternative approaches to the Palestinian- Israeli conflict and the importance of adapting different approaches according to the transformation of the conflict. The peace process needs to continue to find a suitable solution, because peace is a dynamic process and does not achieve static perfection. The study also found that reconciliation efforts in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict involve various parties, countries and international institutions that contribute significantly to the understanding of this conflict. The combination of conflict analysis and peace process approaches opens the way for a better understanding and smooth implementation of the peace process
