This research proposes a novel approach for detecting and mitigating Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) in cloud computing infrastruc ture, offering more comprehensive protection compared to previous methods. By integrating detection and mitigation, this study addresses the shortcomings of prior research that focused solely on detection. Based on the conducted research, Artificial Intelligence (AI) detected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks with an accuracy of 0.9951, SQL Injection (SQLI) at 0.9964, and Remote Code Execution (RCE) at 0.9876. In trials against new attacks, the detection success rates reached 70% for XSS, 98% for SQLI, and 100% for RCE. During the deployment phase, the system successfully identified 23.040 out of 108.394 requests as XSS attacks, 2.684 out of 128.750 as SQLI attacks, and 1.135 out of 46.450 as RCE attacks. The detection and mitigation methods were directly tested on cloud server experiencing APT attacks. The daily attacks on the server reached 1.980, with 663.000 requests. Additionally, the number of attacks directed at authentication or sensitive pages reached 17.913.701. Attack mitigation was tested through seven layers of security, including DNS Protection, Config Server Firewall (CSF), OWASP ModSecurity, HTTP middleware, data filter or sanitizer, template engine, and manual mitigation successfully blocking million of persistent attacks. The DNS protection layer successfully mitigated 59,000 out of a total of 19 million requests. The CSF layer mitigated 173 sources IP of DDoS attacks. The ModSecurity layer mitigated 17,916,204 attacks. All attacks were successfully mitigated before reaching the HTTP Middleware stage or next layer. The use of NIST 2.0 standards helps manage security risks through identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery. Test results indicate that this multi-layered system is more efficient and effective in detecting and mitigating attacks compared to traditional methods. Get PDF
Beginning with a health crisis, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a domino effect on social, economic, and financial aspects. The economy has experienced a slowdown, accompanied by a decline in purchasing power due to reduced income. Tourist areas have become completely deserted, resulting in a lack of income and economic activity. The impact of the pandemic has inevitably spread to the banking sector, particularly affecting Rural Banks (known as BPR). The role of BPR, as part of the government's strategy for local economic development and labor absorption, has also been disrupted. In Indonesia, BPR has long been the backbone of microfinance, serving micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, the Covid-19 pandemic has shaken this sector, forcing BPRs to confront challenges while exploring new opportunities for resilience. This research recommends that Rural Banks strengthen risk management and operational efficiency to enhance their resilience in the future. This research contributes to the existing literature by providing a focused analysis of Rural Banks specific financial performance variables and recommends that Rural Banks strengthen risk management and operational efficiency to enhance their resilience in the future. The research employs logit analysis to develop a prediction model. The findings indicate that the resilience model can serve as a predictive tool for BPR resilience in the post-pandemic period, supporting economic empowerment, particularly for MSMEs and labor absorption. This study introduces the concept of Off-Balance Sheet management as a strategic tool for enhancing resilience, which has been underexplored in the context of rural banking in Indonesia

    Get PDF
Micro, small, and medium firms from both the traditional and contemporary sectors make up the vast majority of Indonesia's labour force, making SMEs among the most significant economic actors in the country. Improving the efficiency of small and medium-sized woven fabric businesses in Lombok is the primary goal of this research. In this study, an explanatory approach was used. The purpose of this research was to examine potential causal explanations for observed patterns. The study's findings Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) producing woven fabrics in Lombok have benefited greatly from an entrepreneurial mindset in the last three years. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) producing woven fabrics in Lombok are heavily affected by their working conditions. For woven fabric SMEs in Lombok, a positive result for the route coefficient between the workplace and performance indicates a unidirectional link or effect. In today's friendly business environment, entrepreneurial orientation influences performance, and future business environment conditions are not always predictable. It is necessary to anticipate some alternative problem-solving, so entrepreneurial orientation that theoretically affects performance must be formulated to achieve goals and implement strategies effectively. Since previous studies have shown that the impact of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance is inconsistent, such as through the use of social media and E-commerce, it is important to conduct additional research on the environmental impact on performance improvement in the context of Lombok's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that produce woven fabrics

Financial distress is a picture of a continuous decline in a company's financial performance that needs to be predicted and minimized. The occurrence of financial distress begins with a decline in the company's financial condition which begins with the company's inability to meet its short-term obligations. The purpose of this study is to determine and evaluate the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), company size and also Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on financial distress. Regression analysis and quantitative methods are used in the research process. Manufacturing companies that consistently release their financial reports during 2019-2022 and are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange are examples. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling and succeeded in obtaining 40 samples from 10 companies. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of this study indicate that ROA has a significant effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, company size and DER do not affect financial distress in manufacturing companies in the 2019-2022 period. The implications of the results of this study for manufacturing company management can be an indicator of corrective actions before the company experiences financial distress or has the potential to go bankrupt

    Get PDF
The integration of Virtual Assistants (VAs) within Smart Building Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems is increasingly critical, particularly for interpreting user commands via Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR). This paper presents an in-depth performance analysis of text correction algorithms on a Raspberry Pi 4—a cost-effective and widely used computing solution in smart building applications. Due to the absence of GPU acceleration for Python on ARM architecture, a specialized dataset was developed to benchmark algorithmic performance, focusing on correction times and accuracy. Our study utilized a near-real-world experimental setup, deploying Docker containers to simulate IoT MQTT brokers, a Smart Building Platform, and Rasa for dialogue management. Among the algorithms tested—Edit distance, Jaccard, FuzzPartialRatio, FuzzSortRatio, MLE, and Norvig Spell—the Edit distance and Norvig Spell emerged as leaders in accuracy, achieving an 84% success rate in text correction. Notably, the Edit distance algorithm demonstrated superior speed, vital for real-time processing demands. The Fuzz Sort Ratio algorithm distinguished itself with the fastest correction time at 31.6 milliseconds, albeit with a slight compromise on accuracy, attaining a 79% success rate. Consequently, the Edit distance algorithm is recommended for applications where accuracy and response time are paramount, while the Fuzz Sort Ratio is preferable for scenarios where speed is the overriding priority. This research paves the way for future exploration into the computational impacts of these algorithms and the exploration of neural network-based methods to further enhance text correction capabilities in smart building automation systems
