PKM PELATIHAN DAN PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL UNTUK REMAJA MASJID DI KABUPATEN MAROS
Full text linkThe mosque youth are the next generation whose presence is highly needed for the development and guidance of young people in enhancing Islamic education and making the mosque a center for nurturing faith, character, brotherhood, knowledge, skills, culture, and the civilization of the Muslim community. A Training and Utilization of Digital Technology for Mosque Youth in Maros Regency was held on Wednesday, July 9, 2024. This event took place in Manuruki Hamlet, Minasabaji Village, Bantimurung District. The aim of this activity was to train mosque youth to use digital technology in a healthy and productive way. The event was attended by 20 participants, consisting of teenagers and children, and received full support from 20 parents who also participated in this community service activity. The event was opened by the Chairman of the BPKRMI (Badan Komunikasi Pemuda Remaja Masjid Indonesia) of Maros Regency, who fully appreciated that this event could be held in Maros Regency. Participants were trained to edit photos and videos using Canva during the event. Additionally, participants were educated on accessing positive educational and social content through various apps. The expected outcomes were achieved, including an increase in the mosque youth's knowledge about safe internet use, digital literacy, and the ability to produce positive content along with its supporting applications. This event also fostered a good partnership between the Indonesian Mosque Youth Communication Body (BKPRMI) of Maros Regency and Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic.

OPTIMALISASI PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN USAHA MIKRO DI KOTA MAKASSAR
Full text linkGood financial management is crucial in business operations. The Makassar Micropreneurs Community, a group of micro- entrepreneurs in Makassar, includes various business owners from different sectors. Many of them run their businesses with limited financial management skills, despite it being a key factor for entrepreneurial success. The Community Partnership Program (Program Kemitraan Masyarakat) aims to enhance the capacity of these entrepreneurs by providing them with knowledge and skills in financial management. This program was implemented by a team of lecturers from the Accounting Department of Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang, in collaboration with students from the Diploma in Accounting and the Applied Bachelor’s in Managerial Accounting programs. The program followed several stages, starting with the development of modules based on an analysis of the community’s needs, followed by training, mentoring, and ending with evaluation and follow-up. The outputs of the program include a financial management training module, a simple financial management application, a published article about the program in online media, a video of the activity shared on social media, and a scientific article published in the National Symposium proceedings.

PENERAPAN SUMUR BIOPORI SEBAGAI TEKNOLOGI MITIGASI PENURUNAN TANAH DI WILAYAH PADAT BANGUNAN KOTA PARE-PARE
Full text linkThis research aims to develop and implement a control system for the ventilation of a closed-house layer chicken coop. The automatic ventilation control system is based on the DHT22 sensor to optimize environmental conditions within the closed-house chicken coop. The DHT22 sensor is used to monitor temperature and humidity in real-time, which is then processed by a microcontroller to control the ventilation system. The primary objective of this system is to maintain the coop temperature within the optimal range of 25-29°C to enhance productivity and animal welfare. In addition to automatic ventilation, this research also includes other systems such as automatic feeders, disinfectants, and waste cleaners, designed to ease the workload of farmers. The test results show that the designed system can quickly respond to changes in temperature and humidity, thus maintaining stable coop conditions. The implementation of this system is expected to create a more comfortable environment for the chickens and improve the efficiency of coop management.

PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DESA DALEMAN MELALUI BUDIDAYA JAMUR TIRAM
Full text linkDaleman Village, located in Tulung Subdistrict, Klaten Regency, Central Java, is a center of aren flour industry that generates a significant amount of solid waste known as aren pulp. Improper disposal of this waste may cause environmental problems. To address this issue, the Research Group on Biological Resources from Universitas Sebelas Maret carried out a community service program aimed at utilizing aren pulp as a substrate for oyster mushroom (Pleurotus sp.) cultivation. The program involved students and the local community through training activities that covered baglog preparation, sterilization techniques, inoculation of mushroom seeds, and maintenance until harvest. A total of 69 baglogs were successfully produced from a mixture of aren pulp, rice bran, and agricultural lime. The results showed good mycelium growth and successful harvests: the first and second harvests produced 1 kg of mushrooms each. These activities not only provided an effective solution for managing industrial waste but also improved the community’s knowledge and skills in mushroom cultivation. Furthermore, the program demonstrated the potential of aren pulp as a valuable resource that supports both environmental sustainability and community empowerment. This initiative can serve as a model for future waste management and rural economic development programs
PENGGUNAAN FLASH CARD INTERACTIVE UNTUK PENINGKATAN KOSAKATA BAHASA INGGRIS PADA SISWA SMP NEGERI 2 PATTALASSANG KABUPATEN GOWA
Full text linkSMP Negeri 2 Pattalassang is one of public junior high schools which located in Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. Initial observations show that SMP Negeri 2 Pattalassang has problems in the teaching process at school, such as the presentation of material to students is not interesting, resulting in both ineffective and inefficient results. This is due to the lack of learning media used in the classroom, making it difficult for students to memorize and use English vocabulary effectively. Students sometimes encounter unfamiliar vocabulary, especially in reading passages. The same applies to grammar, specifically the use of tenses. This can discourage students from learning. The lack of creativity and innovation from teachers in learning activities also contributes to this problem. To overcome the problems at SMP Negeri 2 Pattalassang, a Community Partnership Program (PKM) was conducted with the aim of improving the vocabulary and basic English skills of seventh-grade students through the use of interactive flashcards. This program was carried out in stages, including socialization, demonstrations, vocabulary games, quick quizzes, sentence construction exercises, and the creation of simple flashcards by students. The activity proved to increase active participation, learning motivation, and students' vocabulary mastery, while also providing an alternative to traditional teaching methods. Overall, the use of interactive flash cards was able to create a fun, effective, and efficient learning atmosphere, thereby contributing positively to the improvement of English language learning quality at the junior high school level
PKM REHABILITASI TEMPAT WUDHU DAN TOILET PRIA MESJID NURUL IMAN DESA BUAE
Full text linkThe Nurul Iman Mosque is located in Buae Village, Watangpulu Sidenreng Rappang District, which is used for religious activities. Meanwhile, the condition of the ablution places and toilets is not suitable (damaged) so that male pilgrims have difficulty defecating, PKM Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic is overcoming this problem by rehabilitating the mosque's ablution places and toilets properly. This program aims to rehabilitate or repair ablution areas and men's toilets to be suitable for use and will create a clean and comfortable mosque environment to support worship activities. and can increase the quantity and quality of worship services to Allah SWT. To overcome the problems faced by male worshipers, the procedure is: (1) Coordinate with the Village Head, Mosque Staff; (2) Working together in carrying out repairs to ablution places and toilets; (3) Human resources, carried out independently, so as to help in budget efficiency in the construction or repair of ablution places and mosque toilets, as for rehabilitation of ablution places, namely ablution floors, toilet walls and toilet floors. The results obtained after the rehabilitation of ablution places and toilets were that the male congregation felt that the infrastructure was comfortable and adequate for mosque activities.

PROGRAM KEMITRAAN MASYARAKAT (PKM) PEMASANGAN PINTU DAN JENDELA MASJID HUBUDDIN MAKASSAR
Full text linkThe Hubbuddin Mosque, located at Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan Km 8 No 1, next to Carrefour Transmart Tamalanrea Makassar, was built around 2005. It is active for the five daily prayers and Friday prayers, and it serves as a place of worship for Transmart and Mall M’Tos Makassar employees, as well as passersby. With a capacity for 100 worshippers, the mosque is situated on approximately 250 square meters of land. The mosque's construction, long desired by the local community, has faced delays due to limited funding, which has left the project unattended for several years. To address this issue, a Community Service Program (PKM) activity titled "Installation of Doors and Windows" has been initiated. The targets and outcomes of this PKM are: (a) The installation of doors and windows will provide a sense of security and comfort for the worshippers, and (b) Ensuring the cleanliness of the interior of the mosque. The expected outcome of this program, specifically the installation of doors and windows at the mosque, is to enhance faith and piety, making the mosque a central hub for religious and social activities. The project is planned to take 8 months, with a total estimated budget of Rp. 10,000,000.

PROGRAM MEKATRONIKA MENGAJAR MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA ROBOT DAN KECERDASAN BUATAN
Full text linkDeveloping collaboration with assisted villages for mechatronics learning programs is a very positive step to increase access to technology education in rural communities. Increased Accessibility, Learning mechatronics programs bring technology education to villages that may not have easy access to educational institutions or technology training. Community Empowerment, by providing access to mechatronics knowledge and skills as well as a means of promotion for the Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic to high school students. One of the problems is that access to mechatronics education is still limited, especially among students from low economic backgrounds at SMA 1 Negeri Parigi District. Gowa. Therefore, we propose implementing a teaching mechatronics program with the aim of expanding access to technology education to students in remote and low-income areas and introducing higher education, especially the Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic. In general, the implementation stages of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) are the preparation stages, procurement of tools and manufacture of teaching aids, implementation of teaching mechatronics program activities. Implementing this voice recognition uses a Raspberry Pi primary control which uses the Python programming language with the Librosa library for extracting MFCC features as input for the artificial neural network architecture, predicting the voice input and sending the predicted data to the Arduino Mega control to regulate the signal entering the motor. mover. The robot's movement uses the differential drive steering method or adjusts the speed of the right and left wheels to produce the desired movement. The robot's movement is tested in two places, namely flat and uneven surfaces and the speed is obtained which tends to be stable with varying carrying loads.

PELATIHAN PENGOLAHAN JAGUNG UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN JIWA KEWIRAUSAHAAN GUNA MENINGKATKAN PENDAPATAN MASYARAKAT DI DESA TOMPOBULU KABUPATEN MAROS
Full text linkTompobulu village has considerable corn-producing potential. The corn harvest is abundant and is only sold in wet and dry form, with no processing to make it into new products that can add economic value to the community. This condition is due to the low knowledge of the community on how to process corn and the lack of information on the nutritional value of corn. The method used was in the form of counseling, practice, and mentoring on how to process corn into processed food such as corn sticks, which are very popular corn preparations today. The purpose of PPDM is to educate and train villagers to make processed food from corn, especially for housewives and young women, and motivate the community with the skills obtained can be used as capital or provision to open a small business or entrepreneurship. The expected outcomes of this activity are a) Community skills in processing corn into various food products; b) Creation of community understanding of the importance of entrepreneurship; c) Creating business opportunities for the community; d) Food products that are ready to be marketed; and e) Increased community income. The results obtained during this activity show that the community understands the great benefits of corn commodities as well as increasing community creativity in product processing and understanding the importance of entrepreneurship.

To address this issue, the construction of restrooms at the Hubbuddin Mosque is being undertaken. The targets and outcomes of this initiative include: (a) Providing restrooms to facilitate the congregation's needs, and (b) The construction of restrooms also aims to improve the health and hygiene of both the congregation and mosque management. The expected outcome of this program, namely the construction of restrooms for the mosque, is to enhance faith and piety, making the mosque a comfortable center for religious and social activities. The project is planned to take 8 months.
