    PKM PELATIHAN TUNE UP MESIN BENSIN

    The Light Vehicle Engineering Department at TRI's Maros Vocational School equips students with car maintenance skills, particularly in petrol engine tune-ups. This involves testing, measuring, analysing, and repairing engines. However, the department faces challenges, including limited student knowledge and a lack of affordable learning media for the tune-up system. This Community Partnership Program aimed to address these issues by training students in engine measurement, testing, analysis, and repair. Tune-ups are crucial for determining a vehicle's engine health and ensuring proper maintenance. The program involved stages of socialization, module development, training, and mentoring. Through this initiative, students at TRI's Maros Vocational School gained the ability to independently conduct and practice gasoline engine tune-ups within their school and apply their skills to other vehicles.     Enrekang is a horticultural production center that meets the needs of the community in Eastern Indonesia, even some products are exported. Chilies are abundant in the area, so they need to be processed to obtain a higher value. The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of Enrekang Regency, which is a partner in this program, feels the need to understand the processing method of these products and then pass on knowledge and skills to the farming community in the related sub- districts. For this reason, the purpose of this program is to train DWP on processing chilies into chili sauce products, in addition to training in the process of product packaging, labeling, and product marketing.     Organic waste can be utilized into something valuable and support the community economy, especially for the PWGT ladies in Mengkendek District, Tana Toraja Regency, who generally work as farmers. Our Community Service Activity (PKM) team looked at them who have a role in maintaining environmental cleanliness from organic household waste by providing counseling, training and supporting facilities in order to process household organic solid waste into compost. This activity was intended to reduce waste, educate, increase skills and provide economic value for the welfare of their community. As a result, this community can empower existing potential, become more knowledgeable and can apply organic waste processing wisely. The results of the community evaluation before and after joining the training were carried out and showed a 90% increase in terms of knowledge and skills in producing compost.     This community service project aims to design an automatic pesticide irrigation system based on IoT and an Android application to enhance the efficiency of time and labor for farmers in managing their crops. The system simplifies the irrigation process through real-time monitoring of key parameters, including a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) as the primary energy source, soil moisture sensors, temperature sensors, and water level gauges. The prototyping method is utilized for iterative initial development, while the waterfall method is applied to ensure that each stage is conducted systematically. According to "Smart Farming Technologies" by John Doe (2022), the implementation of IoT technology in agriculture can significantly improve efficiency and productivity, as well as optimize crop yields. The advantages of this system include reduced manual labor requirements and more precise irrigation management, although challenges such as reliance on technology and high initial costs remain. The research results are expected to be published in the Sentrinov journal and SINTA 4 accredited journals, and will also produce video documentation, a user manual, and training workshops for the community to enhance the outreach and impact of this system.     The problem of this program is the operational cost in the process of watering shallots because it uses a diesel engine pump and the watering process is a conventional watering process by manually turning the pump on or off. The objective of the activity is to reduce watering costs by replacing the diesel engine pump with a battery-coupled Solar Water Pump System using a submersible pump and creating an automatically scheduled watering system, so that the watering process no longer depends on humans. Test results show the system is able to operate with high efficiency, with the solar panel generating sufficient energy to drive the pump and sustain watering continuity. The system is able to reduce dependence on conventional electricity, providing a sustainable and environmentally sustainable irrigation solution. In addition, the system also showed stability and reliability in daily operation, despite variations in solar intensity. As such, it offers an effective solution for agricultural systems in areas with limited access to electricity, while supporting the use of renewable energy systems.     The transportation of palm oil in hilly areas with slopes exceeding 30 degrees requires an effective and safe system, particularly to address braking issues on steep and slippery slopes, especially during the rainy season. This research aims to develop an automatic braking system for palm oil transport carts, which can enhance traction on hilly terrain, in both rainy and dry seasons. The methods used include needs analysis, redesign of main components, performance simulation, and field testing. The development focuses on adding a reverse load safety device at the rear of the cart to ensure operational stability and safety. Additionally, the research also involves modifying a pull-pile machine, initially used for pulling timber, to transport palm oil more efficiently. The results show that this heavy equipment increases work efficiency by reducing downtime and speeding up the work process. The added safety system also reduces the risk of accidents, making it safe to use in various weather conditions. The machine specifications include an 8 HP motor, 2600 RPM rotation, S55C-D drum roll material with a diameter of 80 mm, and a 1.11-inch sling.     This PKM program aims to educate the public about the dangers of used cooking oil to health when used repeatedly, train the public to distinguish the quality of used cooking oil based on its physical appearance, educate the public about the dangers of used cooking oil to the environment when disposed of carelessly, train the public to dispose of used cooking oil in the correct way, and train the public to process used cooking oil into candles. This PKM uses interactive lecture methods, demonstrations, discussions, and practices of processing used cooking oil into aromatherapy candles. The Pampang community was enthusiastic in participating about this PKM activity which was marked by questions and answers, discussions, and direct practice by the community. As a result, the community is educated about used cooking oil and skilled in the practice of processing used cooking oil into candles. The candles produced in this activity were tested by the community for application and the result was that the candles could be lit with a stable flame. Residents were very interested in seeing the beautiful color of the candles. Residents also enjoyed the smell of the burning candles that had been mixed with aromatherapy ingredients beforehand.     PEMBUATAN BIODIESEL DARI MINYAK JELANTAH DENGAN KATALIS ZEOLITE TERIMPREGNASI KOH

    Energy is a basic human need that continues to increase with time. At the moment, the fuel coming from non-renewable energy sources such as fossil fuels are limited in quantity and produce combustion that is less likely to be environmentally friendly. Due to this problem, Indonesia needs to develop renewable energy sources as an alternative energy, one of which is biodiesel. Waste cooking oil is an oil derived from the leftover frying oil of foodstuffs. Waste vegetable cooking oil is very likely to be used as a raw material in the manufacture of biodiesel, because in addition to containing free fatty acids, it also contains triglycerides. The aim of this study is to determine the influence of KOH/zeolite catalyst concentration and mole ratio between sooty oil and methanol on the manufacture of biodiesel based on SNI 7182:2015 standards. The catalyst was prepared from zeolite which was first activated by soaking in 6 N HCl and then impregnated using a 20% KOH solution and calcined for 4 hours at 800°C. The manufacture of biodiesel was carried out by first esterification at 60°C for 1 hour and then followed by transesterification at 65°C for 2 hours by varying the amount of catalyst 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8% and mole ratios of soil:methanol 1:9 and 1:20. The best biodiesel yield was obtained at a catalyst quantity variation of 8% with 3 a crude oil:methanol mass ratio of 1:20 with a density of 885.3 kg/m , a viscosity of 5.7576 cSt, and a %yield of 78.68%.a 3 crude oil:methanol mass ratio of 1:20 with a density of 885.3 kg/m , a viscosity of 5.7576 cSt, and a %yield of 78.68%.     Determinants of Return on Assets of Food and Beverage Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    This study aims to analyze the effect of current ratio and total asset turnover on return on assets in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis uses an associative quantitative approach to determine the relationship between two or more variables, using multiple linear regression analysis of 9 company data collected using purposive sampling technique for the observation years 2020-2024. The results found that partially and simultaneously, current ratio and total asset turnover affect return on assets. This study succeeded in finding the determinant of return on assets that increasing the current ratio value also increases the return on assets value because the company has sufficient assets and low risk, as it already has budgeted funds at maturity. Similarly, related to total asset turnover, the more effective the company is in using its assets to generate net sales, indicating the better the performance achieved by the company.     Pemodelan Denial of Service: Pengukuran Waktu dan Penggunaan CPU pada Serangan GraphQL

    GraphQL is a query language that allows clients to request specific data from an API, making it more efficient and flexible compared to traditional REST APIs. This makes applications faster and more efficient by reducing data over-fetching, combining various data sources into a single request, and supporting schema changes without disrupting the integrity of existing applications. This study focuses on security testing and exploiting Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerabilities within GraphQL APIs. As a query language that is growing in popularity, GraphQL offers flexibility in data retrieval but is also vulnerable to DoS attacks. The research centers on DoS attacks using various exploitation techniques such as Circular Queries, Field Duplication, Alias Overloading, and Object Limit Overriding. Testing was conducted using the Kali Linux operating system and testing applications such as Altair and DVGA, employing the Threat Modeling Attack Tree method. The results of the testing show that the Field Duplication attack is the most effective, with the fastest execution time and relatively high CPU usage (2.5 seconds/88.5% reduced to 1.86 seconds/75.50%), while the lowest risk was found in Alias Overloading (1412.05 seconds/99% reduced to 691.29 seconds/93%). Although Alias Overloading posed the lowest risk, it still resulted in high CPU usage, burdening the server significantly. This study provides an understanding of the importance of testing and strengthening API security to prevent DoS attacks. GraphQL, sebagai bahasa kueri yang semakin populer, memiliki fleksibilitas dalam pengambilan data namun juga rentan terhadap serangan DoS. Penelitian ini berfokus pada serangan Denial of Service (DoS) menggunakan berbagai teknik eksploitasi seperti Circular Queries, Field Duplication, Alias Overloading, dan Object Limit Overriding. Hasil dari pengujian waktu eksekusi yang sangat tinggi dan penggunaan CPU, yaitu sebesar 1412,05 detik sebelum Hardening dan 69.129 detik setelah Hardening serta penggunaan CPU sebesar 99% untuk Alias Overloading dan Circular Queries dengan waktu eksekusi 11.078 detik dan penggunaan CPU 84,5% sebelum dan sesudah Hardening. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Alias Overloading dan Circular Queries perlu diwaspadai, sedangkan Field Duplication hanya memiliki risiko yang paling rendah.
