Optimalisasi Proses Pembuatan Cocofiber Dengan Merancang Dan Membuat Mesin Pengurai Serat Sabut Kelapa
Cocofiber terkenal sebagai bahan baku jok pesawat atau mobil, bahan industri karpet, pengisi sandaran kursi, dashboard mobil, kasur, genteng, dan plafon atau bahan kerajinan lainnya. Sasaran khusus penelitian ini adalah mengoptimalkan proses pembuatan cocofiber dan cocopeat dengan merancang, membuat dan mengimplementasikan mesin pengurai sabut kelapa. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah dihasilkannya alat berupa mesin pengurai sabut kelapa. Tahap implementasi program diawali dengan perancangan mesin pengurai di bengkel mekanik PNUP yang dilanjutkan dengan uji lapangan untuk melihat sejauh mana efektifitas dan efisiensi mesin tersebut. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah terciptanya mesin pengurai sabut kelapa dengan kapasitas produksi 138 kg/jam. Dari pengujian pada putaran mesin 1566 rpm diperoleh 62% cocofiber, 37% cocopeat dan 1% bahan sisa dari total 5 kg sampel sabut kelapa yang digunakan
Studi Komparatif Mesh Hexahedral dan Tetrahedral pada Analisis Statis Crane Hook dengan ANSYS
Dalam proses pemindahan barang, hook crane diperlukan sebagai pengait beban berat. Untuk memastikan integritas struktural dan keamanan hook crane, diperlukan desain dan analisis yang melibatkan perhitungan serta simulasi rumit guna memprediksi perilakunya dalam menangani beban tertentu dan kondisi terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan mesh hexahedral dan tetrahedral dalam analisis statis hook crane menggunakan software ANSYS. Proses analisis melibatkan pembuatan model hook crane dan penerapan teknik meshing yang berbeda. Hasil analisis dibandingkan untuk menilai keakuratan dan efisiensi waktu komputasi dari masing-masing teknik meshing. Temuan penelitian ini akan memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan metode yang lebih akurat dan efisien untuk menganalisis hook crane, meningkatkan keamanan dan kinerja komponen penting ini dalam berbagai aplikasi industri. Penelitian ini menggunakan berbagai jenis mesh, baik orde rendah maupun orde tinggi, dan menunjukkan kemampuan yang berbeda dalam menangkap distribusi tegangan pada struktur geometri hook crane. Mesh tetrahedral orde rendah dan tinggi memberikan hasil yang serupa dengan efisiensi komputasi yang baik dibandingkan dengan mesh hexahedral orde rendah. Meskipun mesh hexahedral orde tinggi menghasilkan distribusi tegangan yang lebih linear, penggunaannya memerlukan waktu komputasi yang lebih lama. Selain itu, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan jenis mesh harus didasarkan pada kriteria spesifik dari kasus yang sedang dianalisis, dengan mempertimbangkan trade-off antara kepresisian hasil dan efisiensi komputasi.Dalam proses pemindahan barang, hook crane diperlukan sebagai pengait beban berat. Increasing Customer Loyalty of Islamic Bank Case Study at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia in Semarang
This study aims to investigate the impact of service quality, bank digitalization, and customer relationship management on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as an intervening. The number of samples was 110 customers of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia in Semarang, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis model used in this research is the path analysis model, and the analysis technique uses a simultaneous significance test (F test), partial significance test (t-test), coefficient of determination test (R2), and Sobel test processed with the SPSS 26.00 program. The results show that quality service, bank digitalization, customer relationship management, and customer satisfaction simultaneously significantly affect customer loyalty. Furthermore, service quality, bank digitalization, and customer satisfaction partially have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Meanwhile, customer relationship management partially has a negative and insignificant effect on customer loyalty. Path analysis test results show that customer satisfaction can mediate the influence of service quality on customer loyalty. However, customer satisfaction cannot mediate the influence of bank digitalization and customer relationship management on customer loyalty at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia in Semarang City
Studi Penerapan Building Information Modelling pada Perencanaan Green Building Gedung Sipil Kampus 2 Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang
Dengan memanfaatkan Building Information Modelling (BIM) dalam perencanaan dan pembangunan Green Building, para pelaku di bidang konstruksi dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam merancang bangunan yang ramah lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penerapan Building Information Modelling pada perencanaan Green Building dan mengetahui tahap perencanaan pencahayaan alami sebagai salah satu tolak ukur penilaian Green Building pada pembangunan Gedung Sipil Kampus 2 Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang (PNUP). Pada penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan perancangan Layout Gedung Sipil Kampus 2 PNUP, pemodelan bangunan dimensi ke-3 dan perancangan komposisi bukaan (jendela) dengan visualisasi pada tools Visualize menggunakan Tekla Structures 2023 versi student, melakukan pemodelan bangunan menggunakan DIALux Evo 11.1 sesuai perancangan komposisi bukaan (jendela) dan terakhir melakukan kalkulasi tingkat pencahayaan (lux) pada setiap ruangan menggunakan DIALux Evo 11.1 dengan rentang waktu 30 menit. Sehingga diperoleh nilai intensitas cahaya (lux) rata-rata dari seluruh ruangan pada bangunan dengan full fasad kaca tersebut mendapatkan nilai intensitas cahaya 2375,23 lux dengan suhu 41 °C dimana bangunan ini telah memenuhi kriteria pencahayaan alami minimal sebesar 300 lux tetapi belum memenuhi kriteria kenyamanan termal ruangan secara umum 25°C pada perencanaan bangunan Gedung Sipil Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang
Understanding QRPs and Blatant Misconduct in Applied Linguistics Research: A Book Review of Addressing Questionable Research Practices in Applied Linguistics: A Practical Guide
his book explores the ethical gray area of Questionable Research Practices (QRPs), including its similarities and differences (Butler et al., 2017; Ravn & Sørensen, 2021). It lies between responsible research conduct and clear misconduct like falsification, fabrication, plagiarism. It helps Applied Linguistics (henceforth AL) researchers to carry out ethical research which addresses the ambiguity and debate surrounding certain practices, such as data sharing and outlier management. They are often not well covered in traditional research ethics training. There is a need for AL researcher to identify the good, the bad, and the ugly in the research practices (Banks et al., 2016). To enhance understanding and ethical decision-making, the book provides a taxonomy of 58 QRPs, lesson plans, suggested readings, and discussion scenarios for use in research methods courses and workshops
INOVASI SISTEM PEMERIKSAAN UJIAN SELEKSI CALON MAHASISWA BARU DI POLITEKNIK NEGERI UJUNG PANDANG
The inspection system for the entrance exam to the state polytechnic in Ujung Pandang is a process for checking participant computer answer sheets (LJK) to obtain the scores of participants who took the exam so that it becomes a benchmark for participants' graduation of the desired study program. The previous UMPN inspection system had drawbacks, namely the program inspection system still needed to be developed in terms of accuracy and effectiveness. Designing an FSI inspection program that has high accuracy requires data collection such as FSI along with references to similar inspection programs. The LJK inspection program uses the python language with the image processing library, namely openCV. LJK will be scanned and produce 100dpi and 200dpi LJK images which will be tested in the FSI inspection program. Based on the program testing conducted, it is recommended to use a 15x15 pixel resolution of 100dpi with an average accuracy of 99.31% and for a 200dpi resolution it is recommended to use 30x30 pixels with an average accuracy of 99.98%
Optimizing the Use of Palm Fiber to Increase Stability and Deformation Resistance in Asphalt Concrete Mixes
Modifying asphalt binder materials with fiber reinforcement is one approach to improving the performance of asphalt concrete mixtures. This research aims to evaluate the effect of optimal palm fiber concentration on strengthening and improving the properties of the mixture and rutting resistance. Test specimens were made with four variations in the composition of a mixture of different palm fiber percentages (0%, 0.4%, 0.6%, and 0.85) with lengths (0.4 cm, 0.6 cm, 0.8 cm, and 1.0 cm) using an optimum asphalt content of 6% to evaluate the properties of the asphalt concrete mixture based on the Marshall Test. In comparison, the rutting indicator was evaluated using a wheel tracking tool with four variations in the percentage of palm fiber to an optimal length of 0.8 cm. The results of the Marshall test research showed that palm fiber increased stability by 6%, with the highest stability at a percentage of palm fiber of 0.6% with a length of 0.8 cm 1210.45 kg, higher than the normal mixture with a stability value of 1142.59 kg, VIM value decreased by 14% compared to the normal mixture and increased the flexibility of the mixture at the optimum percentage composition of palm fiber 0.6% length 8 cm by 4%. Fibre wheel tracking test results show that adding fiber fibers increases the groove and rutting resistance of optimum fiber by 53% with a total deformation value of 0.856 mm, dynamic stability of 5727 passes/mm, and a deformation rate of 0.007/mm/minute. This research is motivated by the development of increasingly competitive businesses, one of the industries that is currently developing is the bread industry. One reason is people's interest in consuming bread as a means of preventing hunger. Carmel bread produced by PT Pinrang Pantai Indah is a company that was only founded in 2020. But, is able to compete with other companies that produce bread. One of the factors to be able to survive in business competition is to create products that consumers can remember and recognize or are known as brand awareness, this will influence purchasing decisions made by consumers.This research aims to determine 1) consumer perceptions of brand awareness Carmel Bread, 2) consumer perceptions of factors influencing purchasing decisions for Carmel Bread, 3) influence brand awareness on the decision to purchase Carmel Bread. This research used a quantitative approach with data collection methods using questionnaires and interviews. The sample in this study consisted of 90 respondents taken by using the method purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 16 for windows.The results of this research indicated that 1) consumer perceptions of brand awareness Carmel Bread are good, 2) consumer perceptions of the factors that influence purchasing decisions for Carmel Bread are good, 3) brand awareness influence the decision to purchase Carmel Bread. The coefficient of determination for this research is 0.601 or 60.1% and the remaining 39.9% comes from other variables outside of this research
