    PELATIHAN KOSAKATA BAHASA INGGRIS BERBASIS FLASHCARD

    PKM partner is children at Al-Muslimun Orphanage who were given English vocabulary training based on bilingual flashcard games. The target of this training activity is to improve the ability to master basic vocabulary for daily conversations in English at the elementary school level. The ability to master basic vocabulary in English supports children in producing simple sentences in English to communicate effectively. The method used in implementing this training was pair work involving ten children from the Orphanage. The training activity was carried out 4 times and lasted for 2 hours, of which 1 hour was allocated for theory and 1 hour for practice. The game used is the use of flashcards equipped with pictures, colors and words in Indonesian and English for guessing words with the vocabulary types shape and color, vegetables, fruits, occupation, and vehicles with teaching aids in the form of picture books to help best practice in understanding vocabulary. After 4 meetings, monitoring was carried out to determine the success of the training. The output of this PKM is increasing the competency of children in using vocabulary based on bilingual flashcard games related to the topic given. Keywords: Training, English, Game, Flashcar

    The issue of domestic waste in the community, particularly at SMP Negeri 1 Kahu, poses a significant challenge. A substantial amount of domestic waste, particularly leftover vegetables and fruits from the school canteen, remains unresolved. This is especially concerning as SMP Negeri 1 Kahu aspires to become an Adiwiyata School. Unfortunately, the Innovation Teacher Group, a partner in the Community Partnership Program (PKM), has yet to reflect innovative activities addressing this issue. PKM aims to educate partners on optimizing domestic waste into eco enzymes, which serve multiple purposes, including as liquid organic fertilizers. The program comprises three stages: counseling, training, and mentoring. Counseling introduces participants to eco enzymes and the importance of organic waste management. Training provides hands-on skills in fermenting domestic waste into eco enzymes, while mentoring ensures proper application and problem-solving throughout the process. Evaluation results show a 90% success rate, with participants mastering eco enzyme production techniques after the PKM activities. This program demonstrates the potential of active community participation in sustainable waste management. It not only enhances knowledge and skills but also supports SMP Negeri 1 Kahu in achieving its Adiwiyata goals, positioning the school as a model for environmentally conscious practices.     RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM KONTROL DAN MONITORING SUNROOF BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT)

    A sunroof is one of the features that can add aesthetic value to a car. In addition, sunroofs are also considered an enhancement in driving comfort. With the advancement of technology, the integration of the Internet of Things in sunroofs can provide additional functionalities, such as remote control and monitoring the status of the sunroof. This research aims to design an automatic sunroof based on weather conditions and create a control and monitoring system based on the Internet of Things. This sunroof can operate automatically with the help of several sensors such as a rain sensor and a light sensor. The result of this sunroof creation works well; if the rain sensor detects rain and the light sensor detects cloudy light, the sunroof will close. Similarly, if the rain sensor does not detect rain and the light sensor detects bright light, the sunroof will open. And the average time to open and close the sunroof is around 5 seconds. And to make it easier for users, this device can be monitored and controlled through the Blynk application on their smartphones. so it can be controlled remotely.     Starting motors have an important role in running heavy equipment engines, accuracy in testing starting motor components is a very important factor. Practical learning using starting motor testing media is used to practice starting motor assembly and disassembly. The problems experienced by students in this course are limited practical equipment and lack of student skills regarding assembly and disassembly of motor starting systems. The aim of this research is to create learning media for testing motor starting systems and create a motor starting system testing guide so that it can be used as a practical tool in heavy equipment maintenance workshops. Experimental methods and work processes include: 1) determining materials, 2) designing the frame, 3) working on the frame, 4) making disassembly guides, testing, and starting motor assembly. The results of this research are that the learning media is equipped with the main components of the motor starting system, measurements that display motor starting system testing information, namely: the process of disassembly, testing and assembly of the starting motor, so that this learning media can increase students' understanding of the function and operation of the starting motor. system, as well as providing practical experience in testing and understanding related components

    The Influencee of Human Resource Development on Employee Performance at PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas New Makassar

    In the era of increasingly dynamic business competition, human resource development has become a crucial factor in improving employee performance and ensuring organizational sustainability. The significance of this study lies in its contribution to providing an overview of the effectiveness of human resource development and identifying its influence on employee performance at PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas New Makassar. This study aims to determine the effect of human resource development on employee performance at PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas New Makassar. The research population consisted of 149 employees, with a sample of 60 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed using validity and reliability tests, simple linear regression, the coefficient of determination, and the t-test with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicated that human resource development, measured through education and training indicators, has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, which is measured through job knowledge, teamwork ability, and independent creativity. The coefficient of determination also shows that human resources contribute significantly to the improvement of employee performance

    PERSEPSI DOSEN TERHADAP KEPEMIMPINAN DIGITAL DI PENDIDIKAN TINGGI VOKASI (PTV)

    This study examines lecturers’ perceptions of digital transformational leadership in Indonesia’s Vocational Higher Education Institutions (VHEIs). Using a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method, data were collected from 74 lecturers across six institutions. A five-point Likert questionnaire measured six indicators: conceptual understanding, inspirational adaptation to technology, support for digital learning, encouragement for technology-based teaching, support for digital research collaboration, and encouragement for technology-driven community engagement (PKM). The analysis employed descriptive statistics, including mean and perception index, to identify the level of lecturers’ perceptions. The findings reveal that the overall perception of digital transformational leadership is moderately high, with a mean score of 3.99 and an index of 66.4%. The highest-scoring indicator is leadership support for digital research collaboration (73.8%), while the lowest is leadership inspiration for technology adaptation (56.8%). These results indicate that leaders play a positive role in promoting digital transformation, yet there remains a need to strengthen inspirational and motivational aspects to ensure sustainable digital leadership culture development in VHEIs

    The availability of properly chopped forage is a key factor in improving the productivity of beef cattle farming. One of the challenges faced by farmers in Parepare City is the rapid dullness of elephant grass chopper blades, which reduces chopping capacity, increases energy consumption, and disrupts feed supply continuity. This study aims to design and develop a sharpening machine for elephant grass chopper blades to assist farmers in maintaining their equipment. The research method includes literature review, mechanical and power transmission design, fabrication and assembly, and performance testing. The results indicate that the sharpening machine will restore blade sharpness more quickly and efficiently compared to manual methods. Sharpened blades will improve chopping capacity, reduce the workload of the chopper machine, and lower operational costs. Furthermore, the machine will support feed supply continuity and enhance cattle farm productivity. Therefore, the application of this sharpening machine is expected to provide a practical solution for improving feed processing efficiency and delivering tangible benefits to farmers in Parepare City

    Kecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan suatu kejadian dimana kendaraan bermotor bertabrakan dengan benda lain dan menimbulkan kerusakan. Kecelakaan lalu lintas pada umumnya terjadi karena berbagai faktor penyebab yaitu manusia, kondisi kendaraan, kondisi jalan dan kondisi lingkungan. Metode yang di gunakan pada penelitian adalah Cummulative Summary (Cusum). Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan data primer, bahwa pada ruas jalan poros Tanggetada yang teridentifikasi sebagai lokasi titik rawan kecelakaan lalu lintas atau blackspot berada di wilayah Anaiwoi dengan titik koordinat 4.3737S 121.5207. Pada ruas jalan poros Watubangga yang telah teridentifikasi sebagai titik blackspot berada di wilayah Desa Watubangga dengan titik koordinat 4.4641S 121.5104. Pada ruas jalan poros Toari yang teridentifikasi sebagai titik blackspot terletak pada wilayah Toari dengan titik koordinat 4.5679S 121.4786. Data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Polres Kolaka berupa data kecelakaan tahun 2019-2022 yang terjadi pada ruas jalan poros Tanggetada – Toari di peroleh faktor penyebab kecelakaan lalu lintas terdiri dari faktor manusia sebanyak 68,6% kemudian faktor kendaraan sebanyak 14,5% sedangkan kondisi lingkungan fisik sebanyak 2,4% dan faktor kondisi jalan sebanyak 14,5% dengan total kecelakaan keselurahan yang terjadi selama 4 tahun terakhir pada ruas jalan poros Tanggetada - Toari sebanyak 18 kali

    SCADA Monitoring Design Using Multiple Siemens PLCs Based on a LAN Network

    In the DCS SCADA practicum in the PLC laboratory at ATI Makassar Polytechnic there were connection problems between the PLC and PC, these problems could vary, including damaged cables, loose connectors, or interference with the communication port on the PC or PLC. This research aims to design and create a SCADA monitoring system using multiple PLCs based on a LAN network. In this research, 3 display modules were created that detect connection problems on 3 PLCs. Each module focuses on 1 PLC with a different IP and when there is a problem with the PLC A, B, & C connection, the LED on the PLC_S7-1200 text will flash. Then testing was carried out on the PC and PLC network connections using the PING statistics command through estimated round trip times. Next, test the network connection via accessible devices flashed on the PLC, test the tag on Kepserverex, test the Factory I/O, and test the PLC communication with the Factory I/O. Based on the results of the system testing carried out, namely testing the network connection on the PC and PLC, the round trip times on PC 1, 2, 3 showed an average of 2.4 ms, and on PLC 1, 2, 3 the average was 2.4 ms. with testing times of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 minutes. Testing network connections via flashled accessible devices functions by displaying a light indicator when the PLC is flashing, then testing tags on Kepserverex displays a table containing the tags used and shows good quality. Then the Factory I/O test displays the access name and tag used, then the HMI display module being tested runs according to the system that has been implemented, as well as testing the PLC communication with Factory I/O to connect the Factory I/O software with the PLC

    Jamur merupakan salah satu bahan alam yang mempunyai nilai gizi tinggi, dimana kandungan proteinnya sekitar 15%—20% (bobot kering). Jamur tiram merupakan salah satu komoditas yang sedang diminati masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan. Setiap tahun permintaan jamur tiram meningkat 10% baik untuk kebutuhan hotel, restoran, vegetarian dan lain sebagainya olehnya itu perlu dilakukan budidaya jamur tiram, nutrisi utama yang dibutuhkan jamur tiram untuk dapat tumbuh dengan baik adalah sumber karbon yang dapat disediakan dari berbagai sumber sepert serbuk gergaji dan berbagai limbah organic lain. Proses pencampuran bahan baglog merupakan bagian penting dalam proses pembuatan baglog karena akan sangat berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan jamur tiram. Untuk proses pencampuran baglog digunakan mesin pencampur berbentuk horizontal yang digerakkan dengan motor bakar berdaya 6.5 HP. Mesin pencampur bahan media tanam jamur tiram berbentuk horizontal dengan pengaduk berbentuk spiral yang saling bersilangan, spiral tersebut yang nantinya akan mengaduk bahan baglog hingga tercampur dengan merata. Adapun untuk ukuran bak pencampur adalah 600 x 400 x 590 mm yang dapat menampung ± 15 kg bahan baglog sekali proses pencampuran, untuk mendapatkan hasil pencampuran yang merata kecepatan putran pengaduk adalah 65 rpm dengan lama waktu pencampuran adalah 2.5 menit, hasil ini didapat setelah melakukan pengujian dengan berbagai macam variasi putaran dan waktu yang berbeda-beda dan didapat putaran dan waktu terbaik pada angka tersebut
