High-speed Imaging of Ice Nucleation in Water Proves the Existence of Active Sites - dataset
This is the data for High-speed Imaging of Ice Nucleation in Water Proves the Existence of Active Sites, where we demonstrate that specific locations on the surface of feldspar and quartz are repeatedly the area in which ice growth originates in freezing experiments, i.e. the nucleation active sites. This means that heterogeneities on the surfaces are of first order importance in determining the temperature at which liquid water freezes. The data contained in this repository consists of the ice nucleation experimental data, used to construct the figures in the main text and supplementary materials. These show that nucleation is site specific for both quartz and feldspar. We also present WDS mapping results, where no chemical differences were found at the active sites within the resolution of the technique, leading to our hypothesis that topography is an important factor in determining ice nulceation effectiveness of a site
Characterization of Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (Na CMC) Aqueous Solutions to Support Complex Product Formulation – a Rheology and Light Scattering Study - dataset
Experimental data shown in the figures included in the article and the supporting information published under the same name as the data set. The research article is published in ACS Applied Polymer Materials journal
Characterisation of polyphosphate dispersant interactions with aluminium-doped titania nanoparticles during milling data set.
Experimental data generated for aluminium doped titanium dioxide nanoparticles which have been milled. The particles also have a dispersant attached prior to milling called sodium hexametaphosphate (SHMP). The data set includes measurements on the following: zeta potenital surface charge data, X-ray fluorescence elemental composition data, dynamic light scattering auto-correlation data, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) surface area data and relaxation NMR results
Supplementary material for the thesis “Modelling carbon isotopes to examine ocean circulation and the marine carbon cycle”
Files for adding carbon isotopes (13C and 14C) and water age to the ocean component of the FAMOUS General Circulation Model and model output used to evaluate the performance of the new tracer schemes

Data to support study of Supramolecular Iron Metallocubanes Exhibiting Site-Selective Thermal and Light-Induced Spin-Crossover
Two [{FeIII(OH2)6}Fe8(μ-L)12][BF4]7 cubane assemblies (L = a 4,6-pyrazolylpyrimid-2-one derivative) undergo spin-crossover selectively at just two opposite vertices of the cubane cage
Dataset associated with "Diameter-independent skyrmion Hall angle observed in chiral magnetic multilayers"
Magnetic skyrmions are topologically non-trivial nanoscale objects. Their topology, which originates in their chiral domain wall winding, governs their unique response to a motion-inducing force. When subjected to an electrical current, the chiral winding of the spin texture leads to a deflection of the skyrmion trajectory, characterized by an angle with respect to the applied force direction. This skyrmion Hall angle was believed to be skyrmion diameter-dependent. In contrast, our experimental study finds that the skyrmion Hall angle is diameter-independent for skyrmions with diameters ranging from 35 to 825nm. At an average velocity of 6 ± 1 m/s, the average skyrmion Hall angle was measured to be 9° ± 2°. In fact the skyrmion dynamics is dominated by the local energy landscape such as materials defects and the local magnetic configuration
