No full textThis archive contains the dataset associated with the publication entitled Injection locking of a terahertz quantum cascade laser to a telecommunications wavelength frequency comb. In this work we injection lock a QCL operating at 2 THz to a compact fibre-based telecommunications wavelength frequency comb, where the comb line spacing is referenced to a microwave frequency reference. This results in the QCL frequency locking to an integer harmonic of the microwave reference, and the QCL linewidth reducing to the multiplied linewidth of the microwave reference, < 100 Hz. Furthermore, we perform phase-resolved detection of the locked QCL and measure the phase noise of the locked system to be –75 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset from 2 THz carrier

No full textThis archive contains the dataset associated with the publication entitled 'Gas spectroscopy with integrated frequency-monitoring through self-mixing in a terahertz quantum-cascade laser'. In this work, we demonstrate a gas spectroscopy technique based on self-mixing interferometry in a 3.4-THz quantum-cascade laser (QCL). All previous QCL spectroscopy techniques have required additional THz instrumentation (detectors, mixers or spectrometers) for system-precalibration or in situ spectral analysis. By contrast, our system self-calibrates the laser frequency to a precision of 630 MHz (0.02%) by analyzing voltage perturbations across the QCL, in response to optical feedback from a mirror mounted on a 0-800-mm round-trip delayline. We demonstrate spectroscopy of methanol by introducing a gas cell into the feedback path, and show that a limiting absorption coefficient of ~0.0001 /cm is resolvable. This dataset includes the raw data used to generate all figures within the publication

Get PDFN = 84 participants participated in a Dictator Game being either a proposer or responder (random allocation to roles) and shared both water and a monetary incentive. In advance to the study, all participants went through a training session for an experimental induction of thirst. Thirst was measured on a subjective scale from 1 (‚not thirsty at all‘ to 7 (‚very thirsty‘). Proposers were randomly to one experimental condition: They either received a windfall incentive to be shared or had to earn water and money incentives during the training session. Size of the incentives to be shared was depending on their performance during the session (5, 7.5, 10 Euro, 100, 150, 200 ml of water). Main dependent variables were a) how much proposers offer to anonymous responders (in ml and Euro) and b) how much respondents expect to receive from proposers (in ml and Euro)

Get PDFThis data consist of 11 productions of The Orphan of Zhao created by practitioners from four countries – China, Nigeria, Korea and Britain – and spans a range of theatrical genres: Chinese regional operas; spoken drama and Chinese opera in the Western style as well as dramas in Korean and in English (works by Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria and by the Royal Shakespeare Company in Britain). Viewers can find the introduction to each of the productions, including the information about the particular genre of each stage work. There are also still images and clips of videos; some production links include critical reviews. These diverse productions not only retell an ancient story of an orphan in China, but also enlighten us about the intriguing fluidity and continuity of human culture.
