One of the reasons for this inconsistent finding could be the lack of comparable job opportunities in Pakistan. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment, Faculty Members and Turnover Intention

This research explores the extent of usage of Informational Technology within the pharmaceutical firms based at Korangi Industrial Area. The findings substantiate the view that merely adding computing power will not add to productivity unless the employees are well trained and the usage is dispersed in all the business processes simultaneously. The design of the research is based on instruments which have a high validity and the results show that there is no significant difference in the level of competence of employees between the Pakistani and the MNC. This may be so since the employees are from the same labour market where they have similar educational background and the firms (both national and multinational) have not adequately invested in up grading their IT capabilities.

GDP represents the economic growth of a country. Higher GDP growth is translated as higher economic growth. In case of Pakistan, the GDP is continuously going down due to some macroeconomic factors. This is an alarming situation for the Pakistani government. The main ambition of this study is to interrogate the four selected independent variables which impact on the GDP of a country and verify if the relation holds in Pakistan. This study expects to ascertain the effects on GDP performance in short or long run of inflation, unemployment, foreign direct investment and import prices of goods and services. It utilizes the data of the last 30 years for the Pakistani Economy i.e. the period of 1983 to 2012. Several statistical techniques have been applied. Five SEM models were used to estimate causal relationships. The outcome of this research suggests that the government needs to pay attention (1) to the control of inflation through effective and efficient monetary policy, (2) to increase employment chances by the supporting and establishing new industries and (3) advancing infrastructure. Government of Pakistan should also support Pakistani export in order to decrease heavy import prices and always encourage foreign direct investments. These outcomes will be helpful in managing the economic growth rate of Pakistan. Keywords: Gross Domestic Product, Unemployment, Foreign Direct Investment, Import/ Export, Inflation

The September 11 counter attacks an America have created something of a crisis for Islamic finance. Islamic banks have been insisting that they have played no part in financing the Islamic resistance to American dominance of the Muslim world. Islamic banks seek to present themselves as institutions, which can facilitate the subordinate integration of Muslim economies to American capitalism

In this paper I will try to identify what in my view are the national expectations from the stock market and its major players. I begin with the presumption that the existence and flourishing of the stock market is not intrinsically good. It is not an end in itself. The progress of the stock market is desirable only if it contributes to national development
